Another groundless post.

The religious lie you uphold is so easy to demolish with what the Bible clearly teaches.

Your responses are predictable. People like you often resort to, "MY OP never ONCE indicated a ONGOING LIFESTYLE SIN or UNRIGHTEOUSNESS."

No you don't spell it out in such terms but the very fact that you promote "sin you will and sin you must" and COMPLETELY AVOID any reference whatsoever to "heart purity."

One the one hand you claim the sin never stops
and then on the other hand you claim you never once indicate an ongoing lifestyle of sin. That is a contradiction.

You promote ongoing sin and try
, in an absurd manner, to hide it via the employment of semantics such as the example quoted above. I suspect you are only really doing so in order to reinforce your own delusion as well as to receive pats on the back as some kind of support. I mean look at the tone of your posts, it is, "look at these people who claim to be walking in righteousness and not sinning every day in thought, word and deed, they are Pharisees. People like me who believe the sin never stops and trust in Jesus are the real Christians."

Have you ever considered the reality of many of the people who sit behind keyboards posting on bulletin boards? Think about it. Here you are attempting to defend ongoing wickedness as well as choosing to ignore any notion of heart purity.

Can you even type the term "heart purity" ?

Is it a scary term?

Would you care to discuss it?

Have you ever discussed heart purity in any post you have made on Christian forums?

If not why not? Is it not part of Christianity?

Jesus did not argue in favour of ongoing sinning. Jesus did not say anything close to an isolated 1Joh 1:8 and nor did John. That verse has a context and people like you ignore that context.

Heart purity? Write a paragraph on the term. I dare you.
First of all some coined phrase by some guy you worship and follow means jack at the end of the day...second...the bolded above is not indicated in anything I post or have posted and is a LIE fabricated by you to promote your heretical stance...third to continually accuse me of such proves who you follow...rather simple at the end of the day.....!

People need to really read the Sermon on the Mount and reflect on what Jesus was teaching.

The Sermon on the Mount directly addresses the issue of false religion and the real problem between man and God.

Outward deeds done apart from a pure heart are vanity. Jesus alluded to murder and adultery in the heart addressing hate and lust. If one looks upon a woman to lust or hates their brother they have sinned inwardly. It does not matter if one outwardly refrains from the physical act of adultery or the physical act of murder as it pertains to righteousness because the root of righteousness is a pure heart and a pure heart is yielded to the Logos or divine expression of God to men, His divine influence.

Jesus was addressing the root issue and how to deal with it. The root issue of corruption in the heart of men is addressed by YIELDING TO GOD or in other words HEARING AND DOING. In other to do that one must repent of their rebellion to God and thus forsake that rebellion.

One cannot be yielding and unyielding at the same time.

Hence it is obedience unto righteousness, righteousness unto holiness, the end of which is eternal life.

This message is so simple. This message is so very simple. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and we MUST abide in the Spirit of His life whereby we are made whole and pure.

The cross was not a substitution. The cross was an example for us to follow. The blood is what enacts the New Covenant which we can be enjoined to through repentance and faith whereby we are given a fresh start by God. That is the Gospel, not the rubbish preached almost everywhere today.

Jesus taught HEAR AND DO not a mere "confess and trust." True faith, true trust involves wholehearted yielding from our inner being. This is why the way is narrow because FEW are willing to do so. FEW are willing to forsake the world and the lusts thereof. FEW are willing to crucify their flesh with the passions and desires. FEW are willing to actually HEAR AND DO.

Be one of the FEW and compel the MANY to repent.

I do not worship nor follow any man. Mike Desario very eloquently exposes many of the false doctrines which are predominant today.

If anyone cares to go through my post history they will see I speak in my own words and have my own approach to exposing the lie and it is quite different to Mike's approach. That is simply because I am a different person with different mannerisms. Yet the basic foundation of a faith that works by love and a forsaking of all known wickedness is the same.

Again your response is vacuous. Who are you trying to fool? Yourself? Others? It appears you cannot address a simple topic because it would utterly expose your position. What kind of witness is that to the truth of your position?

Jesus taught and discussed heart purity, so why cannot you?

I know why you cannot. You cannot because you believe in Original Sin and therefore the notion of "sin you will and sin you must." Thus it appears you cannot even comprehend a Christianity in which heart purity is a matter of fact.

Heart purity and ongoing sinfulness cannot mix. You promote ongoing sinfulness and thus despise heart purity.

I challenge you to discuss these words of Peter...

1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

The purification of the soul through obedience to the truth through the Spirit whereby we love one another with a pure heart fervently.

I dare you to address that topic. That one single verse absolutely destroys the foundation of your religion. Here is another...

2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Is your religion inclusive of "having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust"?

Can you answer that question? Or better, WILL you answer that question? I suspect that you will either just not respond any more or post another vacuous response.

I have seen a pattern emerge before my eyes as I have observed modern Christianity for several years now. It has been several years now since I was awakened from my own delusion by God. The pattern I have observed is the utter denial of heart purity in salvation. Heart purity is the one issue that the wolves (and their followers) cannot truly address in a substantial way. They cannot address it because in doing so they would expose themselves for the charlatans they are.

Heart purity? Go on write a paragraph on it and prove me wrong. Discuss those verses I mentioned above.

Here is another individual who gets it.

I do not know who this man is but he speaks the unadulterated truth and his words ought to be heeded.

The real Christian's are out there but they are FEW in number just as the Bible teaches. There are MANY who profess Lord, Lord but who refuse to DO what the Lord said to do. Those people still WORK INIQUITY for they refuse to FORSAKE INIQUITY and the doctrine of Original Sin is the perfect excuse for "I can't forsake my sin."

Satan is very devious and Satan is a master theologian. Satan has been able to corrupt what is commonly known as Christianity in general. The Bible warned us that this would happen yet few truly heed the warnings. Let none of us be those whom perish due to lack of knowledge and the associated unwillingness to learn.

When you can quit lying and attributing falsehoods to me that I do not teach and or promote while actually being open to the truth of the OP then and only then will I engage you....Your very first post was full of accusations and mouthy comments so I suggest you go look in the mirror bro. The bible is clear....it is the spirit that has been born of God, is eternally saved, sealed, justified and sanctified in Christ positionally for ever....it is housed in a fallen, sinful body that is corrupt, wicked and not subject unto the word of God and to deny the truth of the OP tells me you have gone to seed on some fantastic falsehood promoted by the guy you follow.....

Was Daniel a saved child of God when he was confessing his sins and identifying with the sins of Judah<--yes
Was Peter saved when he lied and denied JESUS three times<--yes
Was David saved when he committed murder and adultery with Bathsheba and Uriah<--yes
Was Paul saved when he writes he is the number one chief sinner among men TOWARD the end of his life<--yes
Was Noah saved when he got rip roaring drunk<--yes
Was Peter saved when Jesus rebuked him and called him Satan for his false view<--yes
Was MOSES saved when he struck the rock twice<--yes
Was Aaron saved when he made the golden calf<---yes

The point of the op is clear.....SAVED children of GOD SOMETIMES FAIL and SIN as NO ONE IS ABOVE IT...NOT THAT we should live a lifestyle of sin, or walk contrary and IF you do not believe that YOU are BLIND and reject the above PROOF and POINTS made about the men I LISTED....

Believe what you will BRO.....! Your problem is you are not able to see the complete picture because you have gone to seed on some IDEA promoted by MIKE....I will stand on what I have listed, the OP and what I believe based upon study!

Only the devil would tell people to forsake evil and yield to God right?

Only the false teachers would contend for heart purity right?

Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Redeemed from ALL iniquity?

Purified?

Zealous for righteousness?

Why not write a post of substance refuting these "false teachers" you appear to recognise instead of giving some vacuous "I am praying to God to shut their mouths" and "Jesus has your back" platitudes?

I think you have a different god and a different Jesus to the one's revealed in Scripture.

Would you care to address the issue of heart purity as it related to Christianity?

Is the Christianity you believe in inclusive of loving one another with pure hearts having been purified through obedience to the truth through the Spirit? Or do you think such a thing is satanic heresy? I would like to see your response.

No need for me to repeat what has been said very clearly and in agreement with scripture.

That is Gnosticism.

Read up on it...

Gnosticism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It was the Gnostics who taught a "positional righteousness" in conjunction with a "manifest wickedness."

The Bible teaches the opposite...

1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
1Jn 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

The Bible never teaches that the human body is wicked, corrupt and not subject unto the word of God. Where is that taught in the Bible?

The Bible teaches that the CARNAL MIND is not subject to God and that is why Christian's put to death the carnal mind in repentance whereby they henceforth yield to the Spirit and are thus cleansed and made pure.

You are actually a Gnostic who unwittingly uses the various proof texts and Christian terminology you have been brainwashed with in order to promote the same basic tenets of ancient Gnosticism.

The children of God are MANIFEST by their deeds and likewise the children of the devil are MANIFEST by their deeds. You teach that deeds have nothing to do with it because salvation is some abstract position that has nothing to do with actual conduct.

You have no idea what salvation even means.

Salvation is FROM sin. You have been deluded into thinking that one can be "saved" and yet at the same time raping babies and murdering women. Cannot you see how absurd that is?

David was not saved in his sins. He had to repent in order to be redeemed. No one is saved in their sins. We are saved FROM our sins.

A prisoner is not free whilst locked up in jail. Israel was not free when still in bondage in Egypt. Deliverance involves being SET FREE and Jesus Himself taught that those whom sin are the servants of sin. You are claiming that a servant of sin is somehow saved.

Paul taught that we are slaved to whom we obey, obedience unto righteousness or sin unto death. You ignore those parts of the Bible and any honest person reading this exchange knows it.

You still cannot address the issue of heart purity. You simply refuse to and invent some excuse that I "follow some man" and say things "which are false."

Well prove your accusations. You don't say anything of content, there is nothing of substance behind what you write.

"Failing" according to you is David committing adultery and murder. Thus under your theology you can have "saved" child molesters and serial killers. The church in your religion is a hodge podge of people engaged in all manner of wickedness because the sin never stops. You just cloak it with "sometimes" and "slip up" etc.

Again the real issue is the refusal to deal with the HEART. Your religion is all about "trust" and "confess" and yet the heart remains wicked. Modern Pharisees serve doctrines instead of rites and rituals like the olden day ones.

The HEART is the issue. The issue is not the flesh body, the flesh body is merely a vehicle we are meant to bring under control. It was the Gnostics who blamed sin on the flesh as thus denied their own responsibility.

The human body is not wicked.

The human body is merely a means of temptation. Jesus was born into a flesh body just like we are and had all the associated passions and desires.

If one is to claim that the human body is wicked like the poster above then they either are claiming Jesus was wicked or that His flesh was somehow different.

That's actually the humanity of Christ that I was talking about earlier. The same flesh that we say is weak is the same flesh that Christ was in. Hebrews say that he was tempted in every that we were but sinned not. So that forces us to ask the question, could Jesus sin?

this is an excellent example of the result of reading the same verses over and over, no context, no rightly dividing the word of truth. using only parts of the Bible, without balancing , is complete heresy.

Every born again believer should strive to live a sinless life.
I strive to live a sinless life.

But how do we know that people don't live a sinless life. The Bible tells us that we will never face a temptation that we cannot handle and if by chance we do, he gives us a way out.

I don't condemn anyone (never our place to condemn but only to apply righteous judgement) but I also don't think that the possibility of living a sinless life after salvation is impossible.
