Some contributors here want only to talk about salvation, because they are in limbo,
forever knowing they are worthless yet believing they are saved.

And anyone who does not feel like this is deluded and so must be brought back or down
or lifted up to realise this is the place you should always be, never resolved always
a lost spirit roaming around seeking others to pull into your maelstrom.

It is why things never resolve and always go around the washing machine.
There is no going beyond, just continual churning over the same ground, and
picking holes in the same stories and being totally convinced the contradictatory
failure with victory dilemma is Gods perfect message.

well it did take him a year,, But still your right.. After the flood. Even though he still sinned (drunk) He was still a man of God when he died,, As shown by God mentioning him in the NT,

I love How God put some sins of the fathers of faith in writing for us to see.. He did it for our sanity, To show that even these great men of God who walked and talked with God in a way we can only imagine, were still sinners..
I agree and also when we read the accounts of their lives in Hebrews 11 God doesn't mention any of their sins because He doesn't look at their sins because of Christ anymore. ( This doesn't mean that we should sin all we want as some suppose and mis-represent )

There are 2 aspects of their lives being shown in scripture for us to learn by - all scripture is profitable.

Keep thinking peter.. You may get it some day, This is NOT what is going on

we talk about salvation, Because it is what gets people to heaven.. Not because we think we are worthless. We KNOW we are saved,, And we strive to run the race, and hope to finish.

we just want others to receive the same joy and peace we have.

So what's your point? We all know that we were worthless BEFORE we got saved. But to God, we are jewels beyond worth in His eyes.

And your last sentence is confusing. Can you please clarify it? :)

If we are always failures, we never have victory over anything. It is a denial of
the power of God in Christ.

It is always possible to spin a criticism of anything, even when it is perfect.
The power comes from knowing when you have something of value and going with
it. God calls us to love people, to walk with them and share the blessing He has
poured into our hearts.

I am getting more convinced how empty and bitter many hearts are, and all they
can pour is judgementalism and criticism.

A lazy man will always claim nothing is worth burning yourself out on because
nothing has meaning or purpose. But they are just hiding they are lazy and have
no commitment.

We are created in Christ for good works. This is our ministry.

But you would not believe this based on this thread.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Eph 2:10

And these good works come from the outflow of love from our hearts, having
resolved our hurts, bitterness, anger, loneliness, desire for revenge that lurks
within us before we met the Lord.

But it is tough if one tries to love when it is all blocked by the junk still left
unresolved within. And so the justification of why this is how things
should be continues.

.

See Peter, Here is the root of your problem. which so many people have tried to tell you over and over again for months now.

You see people say things they never said,, No one ever says we are always failures, We NEVER have victory, and deny the power of god in our lives.

That's what you THINK they said, which is the REAL reason why, as you said earlier,

It is why things never resolve and always go around the washing machine
Because you have selective hearing, and never get to actually understanding what people tell you.

EG - Here you are again finding fault. My faults are not listening,
and saying things you are not saying.

You have missed my point.

We are created in Christ for good works. This is our ministry.

But rather than agreeing with me and saying amen let us go on into our calling
you come with criticism.

As Jesus would say if you are not in agreement with my point you are against it.
And you will always be able to find fault and miss the blessing of the Kingdom.

God bless you, and may he take the scales that blind your eyes from the obvious.

Dear reader,

I have a root to my problem.
I do not see a problem, I follow Christ, I love Him and I follow His word.
I want to encourage people to purify their hearts and walk in love.

And most of all I would pray we fulfill our calling to good works.
Halleluyah.

If I have a problem doing this, then whoever is criticising has a problem with
Jesus and His ways. I would ignore such criticism and the people who bring it.

Try again Peter. that s EXACTLY what you said. Continue to deny it to your own shame.

there you go shifting again in order to refuse to take account for what you have done.

I did not comment on this part of what you said, I commented on the part where you said people like to talk about salvation because they feel they are always worthless. and never have victory..

try to read will you? and can you show some humility ever in your life?? Is you being right that important to you that you will make yourself look this bad too prove your right?

Your the one who needs to take the scales and blinders of your eyes my friend.

Limbo - we are worthless chaff waiting to be burnt up, lost in our sin, conflicted
eternally within and without a purpose or direction.

As believers we are victorious, loving, caring people striding forward in victory
over sin and death in Christ.

To which group do you identify closely?
Or are you like most of us in a state of going from one position to the other?

I am sensitive to one real issue, the denial of an achievable destination.
It is too easy to miss everything in the struggle of today to loose the
destination of tomorrow and the power that gets you there, Jesus.

And for some I am convinced they have no clue how love drives them or
even what love really is. It is possible to be in the church walk in all the
things of God and still be here. And such as these will still be desiring to
convert me until the Lord returns.

You want me to stop.

Stop slandering people (first and foremost) because if I see it, I will continue to expose it.

Stop telling people the cross is not enough and we get to heaven BECAUSE we are holy..

remember, mr. jens does not recognize the Biblical definition of sin. it is easy to declare your self holy when you have a floating definition of what sin is and is not.

See there you go again peter, Who teaches Limbo in here?? God does not even see us a worthless chaff, That's why he sent his son to die for us...

To which group do you identify closely?
Or are you like most of us in a state of going from one position to the other?

I am sensitive to one real issue, the denial of an achievable destination.

I am sensitive to that also.. Because it is not achievable. Only Christ can take you there.. NOTHING you can do will make you achieve eternal life..

You teach we have victory over sin, yet you do not adhere to it.. Claiming even those who have victory can crash and burn and not end up in heaven. Where is the victory? Death still has a sting..

It is too easy to miss everything in the struggle of today to loose the
destination of tomorrow and the power that gets you there, Jesus.

See.. It is all up to Peter. It is too easy for God to fail (which in reality is what he is saying) because we only get to the destination BY THE POWER OF GOD.

And for some I am convinced they have no clue how love drives them or
even what love really is.
I am convinced you have no clue what true love is (gods love not mans) , What true sin is (Gods defenition, not peterjens) , What true salvation is (your still tryign to earn your destination, not have god take you there). Or what people who try to talk to you actually believe.

It is possible to be in the church walk in all the
things of God and still be here. And such as these will still be desiring to
convert me until the Lord returns.
Be converted and wash your sins away..

And be given eternal life, where you will never perish,

Peter. if you took hold of this gospel truth, I could see you be a powerful man of God.. Much in the same way Saul become one.. when he left his religion, and finally found the true messiah.

which I believe would be the second root of his problem (concerning the gospel)

Love produces good works

If you love someone you want some way of expressing it, reaching out and encouraging
them in the good things they are bringing and helping them through their weaknesses.

So it will be obvious if someone knows what love is or what tearing another down is.

Jesus said false teachers would have the fruit of thorns and thistles.
I know people who sound good, and when you get close they would rather tear down
and exalt themselves than actually help and bring blessing.

So would we rather encourage sinners to do good or evil? Surely we would desire and
encourage them to do good and love responsibly those around them. And when they
fail in being able to do this, knowing it is good but failing, we can then share how Christ
empowers us to love and overcome through His love on the cross at work in our hearts.

This is how we are salt and light in the world, and not workers of iniquity.

yes they will. Love also chastens the people they love, it does not let them do things which will destroy them..

So it will be obvious if someone knows what love is or what tearing another down is.
Not really, If a person feels threatened, They will not see it as love. They will see it as an attack.

Jesus said false teachers would have the fruit of thorns and thistles.

Yep. And you do this almost every post you make.. You tear people down, then exhult yourself.

we are lights of the world. Because we allow God to shine through is..
