Yeah. I'm gonna have to go back now and read it again. I know what scripture says about the account afterwards and I think that's what you put. I was looking for more supportive scripture concerning what you wrote. The conclusion you came to.
About Judas not being a Christian? It's widely believed he stole money, He is called Son of Destruction, not a Son of God, he died with Jesus still alive, but didn't come back to Jesus like Peter did. Jesus said he wasn't clean. The word of the Lord cleans us. Judas said he betrayed innocent blood, but he didn't say I betrayed my Lord. Jesus said He lost none of those given to Him.

Due to these factors, I can say Judas followed Jesus, but I can't say he made him Lord. And finally even if he did, Holy Spirit wasn't given yet. Jesus said He had to go first. And believers now are SEALED by Him as our guarantee.

i hope this helps explain my thoughts. Feel free to ask anything else.

Rewards do do not include eternal life. Blood only! His precious blood.

I have read a prophetic warning that there would be those against the blood of Jesus. Now it's here.

Are you for real?

are you in love with His blood?

It is for remissions of your sin..

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
30And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

It was to bring the New Testament of GOD to us.

Eternal life is to eat and drink of His. Communion. Eat His body, drink His blood.

Believe His Word. His work. We rest in His work. We work out of rest. Heavenly places having sat down with Him in victory over His enemies that are our enemies too.

Are you loveme1 a Jehovah's Witness?

How does one become a part of a family?

So far, you've explained according to what the bible says.
Well.... i know of 2 ways to become a part of a family. And they apply, even today ^^.

- One way, is to be "born" into the family..

- The other way, is to be "adopted" into the family..

From memory...im pretty sure He speaks on "both" of those ways ^^

The key word is son of perdiction. Who the son of perdition is. he was a satan which is a tile for all fallen angels. The leader was the one that entered him. Sounds strange dont it. Where did he come from is unknown but after his job was over he went back
Here's the definition of Son of Perdition:

PERDITION

per-dish'-un (apoleia, "ruin" or "loss," physical or eternal):

The word "perdition" occurs in the English Bible 8 times (John 17:12; Philippians 1:28; 2 Thessalonians 2:3; 1 Timothy 6:9; Hebrews 10:39; 2 Peter 3:7; Revelation 17:11,18). In each of these cases it denotes the final state of ruin and punishment which forms the opposite to salvation. The verb apolluein, from which the word is derived, has two meanings:

(1) to lose;

(2) to destroy.

Both of these pass over to the noun, so that apoleia comes to signify:

(1) loss;

(2) ruin, destruction.

LOL

I see you understand the method here !!

Stone likes to say some don't really understand HER,
but what does SHE understand???

Some here love to accuse and say silly things. Here are some:

1. Do you know what it meas to be born again?
2. Have you received the Holy Spirit?
3. We work BECAUSE we are saved, not TO BE SAVED. Insinuating the difference is not known.
4. Those our "our ilk" do not understand that we are ONLY TO BELIEVE.

I don't have much time here...
That's enough. But there's plenty more.

are you a Jehovah's Witness?
So when someone doesn't agree with you or believes in what JESUS said, not Jehovah, as in Jehovah's Witness,

you then ACCUSE them of being a JW?

Could we just stick to scripture???

This Scripture tells me to consider everything I do unto the Lord:

Col 3:17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
sadly some people can not understand, while they tear others down and belittle them.

The amount of people in CC who need to take their own advice is mind boggling.

Stone,
loveme1 is MORE I LOVE with our Lord than some here.
Know why?

She's actually willing TO DO things for Him.
Some here tell me ALL WE NEED TO DO IS BELIEVE.

Believe what?
Did you know that believe is an ACTION word?

Go look it up in the Greek.
You like Greek.

Oh, and don't forget to do the counting on Salvation and Kingdom in Jesus' discourses.

Thanks.

I agree, and Judas never called Jesus Lord as the other disciples did.
He always addressed him as rabbi.

Yes He gave you work to do, you do it out of love and out of your freedom. Not to earn your salvation. Not to be saved, but because you ARE saved.

Exactly. Good works are a manifestation of His life bearing fruit in and through us the branches. The branch does not make itself the Vine.

Works-based false gospels always put the cart before the horse and mis-interpret Jesus' words through their "Old Covenant " mindset belief system - which is "you need to work or do things in order to either achieve or maintain salvation."

We are saved by grace through faith in Christ alone. His life in us then produces the fruit of good works that have been birthed from Him.

Get this backwards and we create a religion that uses the terms "Jesus, word of God, Spirit of God, testimony of Jesus and other words from scripture...etc." Although we use these terms - we are mis-applying those terms and actually perverting the gospel of the grace of God in Christ.

If we don't filter all scripture through the lens of Christ's finished work on the cross and resurrection - we will create our own religion of "doing in order to achieve or maintain salvation."

It is an anti-Christ belief system that actually nullifies the very grace of Christ needed in this life in order to bring the grace and love of our loving Father and Lord to others.

Eternal life is from the blood sacrifice alone which is precious in Fathers sight. He Himself poured His own blood on the mercy seat in heaven before Father that we might be able to come into His presence now boldly for flesh will not survive the glory of God. We would perish without blood on the mercy seat.

This is the truth of the gospel message. His work alone!

Maybe look it up...I have numerous times..how about you...and for sure not your buddy that you defend tooth and nail even though she is wrong 90% of the time!!
Lol, there you go with the 90% again.
Why don't you tell us about the 10% you agree with her.
That would be a starting point for reconciliation.
