GOD requires a willing heart...
what God requires, God supplies. good thing, too, as we are but helpless children. :)

it is He who raises us from death to newness of life. He who delivers us from all our uncleanness. He who causes us to walk in His statutes.

look at all the times God says "I WILL" in Ezekiel 36. see what He says HE is doing, and for Whose sake and glory?

soli Deo gloria!

It was her nasty, rude, prideful attitude towards everyone here that got her banned.. And I'm not laughing at her OR you. I'm just saying you remind me of her in the way that you refuse to believe that works aren't to be done in order to keep salvation..
She sounds like me. Nasty, rude and prideful. LOL

So then if we are to Keep the second like it .. we are to surely Keep the Greatest which is also found in the 10 Commandments as taught in the New Testament.. hence GOD stating He would make a New Covenant not like the one they broke.. but where He would put His Law on our hearts and in our mind... what do we have? The Royal Law that we are to be doers of through our New Spirit received through Faith in Christ which is Christ within guiding and comforting us reminding us of all Truth.
How do you define "keep" the 10 Commandments and where under the New Covenant is the church commanded to keep the Sabbath? Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations (Exodus 16:23; 31:12-18; 35:3; Leviticus 23:32; Jeremiah 17:21; 19:30; 23:2-3; Numbers 15:32-36; 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13) was part of a covenant with Israel that is not applicable to Christians under the New Covenant. (Colossians 2:16,17)

I believe My Lord and Saviour and if that puts me at odds then so be it.. for you did add a lol in your post toward Fran and had no need to speak such things. You see not that it is the Messiah Himself who gives us the to do... you believe Him not and that is your choice. You don't need to try and say I'm prideful, rude and nasty because I may hold fast but I don't hate on folks and mock.. no.. that is not what I do.

Try reading and believing the New Testament.. the Lord teaches us the Sabbath.

no, you do not do those things. you do say non- truthful, non-Biblical things, like one must work to maintain salvation, keeping the O.T. law is a part of salvation, that one has to be sinless, when no one is.....

I could go on, but that is all the false teaching I need.

I have read and believe the New Testament. Was Jesus teaching the Sabbath to the Jews under the Law, prior to the New Covenant being established, or to the Church, under the New Covenant? You need to rightly divide the word of truth.

No my dear I share the Messiah's Testament that teaches those things.. you choose not to believe.. but I believe and share them... i by GOD's Grace through Faith in Christ am filled with the New wine.. and certainly not proposing anyone drink the Old.. for it does not save..

Be Faithful to the New Husband and love and obey Him for the Old fulfilled its course to bring us the New.. but now the New is Come and we are to believe.

Many people seem to believe that if they simply rest and do no work on the Sabbath, then they kept it, but there was much more to keeping the Sabbath Day under the Mosaic Covenant, as I pointed out in those verses in post #39084.

The Messiah was giving His New Testament to be shared and recorded for us to receive and Believe.. because if you start dividing the Truth for us or them then where is the Gospel? Where are the words that give Everlasting life that we are to build our house upon? Be careful not to seperate yourself for there is one Everlasting Gospel for all who Believe.

You were the lucky one, "rude and insulting" the reason she was banned

the heart must be willing, yet the heart of the natural man is not. it takes a supernatural intervention from God to make us willing.

God doesn't impose, He changes our nature. He aligns our will with His. He blesses us with a heart to love Him and others.

what a Mighty God! :)
