More to the point and since you refuse to be honest about it, I will simply say you have NEVER raised anyone from death nor have you ever cured a leper and not once have you restored sight to a person blind from birth. Why don't you just be honest about it? You are not capable of doing the things Jesus Christ did by faith. So much for your weapons wielding and walking as He did :)
Awww come on Magenta....he is the perfect Pharisee.....boasts of his works, does not sin like everyone else and sets the gold standard for twisted, out of context usages of the word to hang his points on while rejecting any and all proofs of his error........

Be merciful unto me a SINNER<---present tense and this guy went home JUSTIFIED.......

Quote PJW;
That doesn't happen.

James writes..."But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (James 1:14-15)

Without a temptation, lust, enticement, or conception, there is no sin.
It is also written..."And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts." (Gal 5:24)

"No lust---no sin."
There are only three person's that have no sin, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. There is no 4th person of the trinity and PJW needs to "Repent and be Saved", just like you and I and every other sinner that God saves. Until that day comes PJW has been deceived having thought of himself wise he has become foolish; "The Great Pretender"

Quote by:
Charlyn Khater

“A dog might feel as majestic as a lion, might bark as loud as a roar, might have a heart as mighty and brave as a Lion's heart, But at the end of the day, a dog is a dog and a lion is a lion.”

Actually guys, I have no argument with this post because of this poem I "received".

[h=3]Declaring His Work! Jesus![/h]

We have returned to the Garden of Eden
Brought into His presence, made whole by the Lamb.
Satans lies crushed underfoot as we enter..
Truth is our breastplate, and light floods our stand.

Victory of blood, Royal blood out from Heaven
No stain of sin, given once for all men
Born into Him..Son of God, son of mankind
Covering; purging....flowing within.

Now we an army, attired in white linen
Helmets salvation encloses our head
Righteousness pinning lusts serpentine yearnings
Peace reigns our hearts touching others for Him.

He leads His army, His Voice individual
Yet, corporate as all move in Spirit as One
His-story shouting in signs and in wonders
Gathering all for His home filled with love.

Righteousness pinning lusts serpentine yearnings.

I believe this is possible to be brought to this state by the work of Holy Spirit. If one wills to be so. And possibly this is what Paul called the high calling of Jesus.

Some could be walking in a degree of this, and some more than others. But, perfect?

We all do not agree on what what this means, but maturity is seen through the Greek. But, is this maturity as a human being? Or maturity in the walk of faith?

If one is moving through faith in the power of God within, he/she will be known, and have a following.

Hello truthtalk, been here a few days, hope all is well with you and VCO. I was hoping you could help me out here.

As it is written in 2 Cor 5:21
[SUP]21 [/SUP]He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

As it is written in Romans 5:12-17

[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— [SUP]13 [/SUP]for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. [SUP]14 [/SUP]Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. [SUP]16 [/SUP]The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification. [SUP]17 [/SUP]For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

The truth above does not make us sinless or perfect by any means, but it does say we gain a position of Righteous with God through the imputed righteous of Christ we receive when we are saved.

Could you please help me understand how you are using Romans 3:10? Are you stating our condition before the imputed righteousness of Christ or after?

And how can we say we are not righteous after being imputed with Christs righteousness at conversion. Romans 5:17 says imputed righteousness of Christ is a gift given with the gift of salvation.

Thanks for helping me out.

And JESUS CAME TO SAVE THOSE WHO CAN ADMIT THEY ARE SINNERS, NOT THOSE WHO ARE SELF RIGHTEOUS AND FOOLISHLY CLAIMING THEY ARE SINLESS. Those who are Self Righteous DO NOT think they need a Physician (SAVIOR), for their terminal disease called SIN.

Mark 2:17 (NKJV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] When Jesus heard it, He said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."
