Hi Preacher, please show me with the bible how this false notion can be true; that because God has chosen Christians from before the foundation of the world, that this means we can just stop doing any work? I do not see any personal incompatibility between God's Sovereignty and my ability to
"make choices." there is no incompatibility.
To me if by God's pre-ordination He elects Christians to play on His team then its time to go to work not sit on our duffs, ya know. Our free will is in alignment with God's Sovereign will and that is a very good thing and calls for action not inaction am I right.
God's Sovereignty and the free will of the believer is compatible with predestination just like this; God puts each Christians on the train bound for glory, what we do on that journey is our free will no conflict.
Where's the disconnect between our will and God's will; there is none....
God bless!

5) He predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will,
6) to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the Beloved One.

od Works In All Things
(
Ephesians 1:3-14)
28) And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him,
who are called according to His purpose. 29) For those
God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.
30) And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified;
those He justified, He also glorified.
