I teach believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
that is the Gospel.
Is this an active faith, believing that the Father will transform us into the likeness of His Son,
or a passive faith, where we are snatched out of the fire despite what we are?

Staying who we are in the world seems to define some, they are happy with their place.

Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
James 4:4

Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.
1 Thess 5:21-22

To be a friend of the world is to be happy in our condition here, but to be a friend of God
is to abide in heavenly things, hold on to the good and avoid every kind of evil.

So if our hearts strain after the world and its glory, we have not yet been transformed into
the Kingdom. So many want the Kingdom yet also the world, security of salvation with
security of wealth and success.

Remove the law of the land?

Why would you make this ridiculous claim about me?

Can you answer these questions?

“If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15

If you worship other gods, is that loving God or hating God?

If I murder my neighbor, is that loving my neighbor or hating them?

If I steal from my brother is that loving him?

Actually that’s not the Gospel, but I get what you mean.

Do you understand the world believe, carries the definition of trust and commit to obey?

The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is -

Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Fulfill.
verb (used with object)
to carry out, or bring to realization, as a prophecy or promise.
to perform or do, as duty; obey or follow, as commands.
to satisfy (requirements, obligations, etc.):a book that fulfills a long-felt need.
to bring to an end; finish or complete, as a period of time:He felt that life was over when one had fulfilled his threescore years and ten.
to develop the full potential of (usually used reflexively):She realized that she could never fulfill herself in such work

you can believe what you want, if you now want to remove, , law of land, or law in the bible,
your quote is out the bible, is it spoken word or a written word. out the gospel your quote, is this correct,
i have already posted some thing in regard to this,
rhema.
Many want to argue they are under grace, so God ignores their sins and evil behaviour.

The foolishness of this, is they do not see the evil they do is killing them.
This is not a qualification parade, I am in, you are out, this is the division of Kingdoms, defined
by Gods will and rule and the rebellion in the world.

To choose Christ is to walk in His love, flowing from our hearts, which fulfils the law and bears
the fruit of the work of the Holy Spirit. If we reject His walk, we reject salvation and the cross.
Worse still we condemn ourselves as slaves to sin, while having the door to life right before us.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.
1 John 3:14

And until one enters by the door, all of this is impossible. Believe Jesus can change you and call out
to Him today. Amen.

The law of the land says it’s ok to murder babies through abortion.

Let’s focus on the law of Christ.

Unfortunately most people don’t understand what grace is.

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14

To be under the law of Moses means you are under obligation to obey the law of Moses.

To be under grace means we are under obligation to obey grace;
The Spirit of Grace.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, Titus 2:11-12

believe- to think to be true, to place confidence in, to be persuaded of.

obey- to submit what is heard, to change one's conduct to God's standards.
'so, no, they do not mean the same thing.

one ( belief ) produces salvation.

one ( obey ) is done as a RESULT of belief.

that why i made a point of law of the land, the closest thing you/we have to jewish law(if your a gentile) and if the law permits things, then the church cannot cut off there hand, as i have tryed to point out this, also the difference between the bible interpretation is an other thing etc

if you have sinned ,how can you put jesus back on the cross. is the big question

I think the real question, is what is the walk of sanctification, and the changing of our hearts,
from reacting as the world does, to reacting because Jesus has transformed us.

Such questions are difficult, because they cost, required discipline and behaviour and heart change.
And for many this cost is too high. It is why there are so many "carnal" believers, excusing who they
are and holding on to promises of delivery, which they have already rejected.

'so, no, they do not mean the same thing.

one ( belief ) produces salvation.

one ( obey ) is done as a RESULT of belief.

One must obey the Gospel to be saved.

There is only one command in the Gospel, which is to repent.

The Gospel message is: Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand.

This is the call to turn to God, in submission to His rule and authority.

This is the command of the Gospel that we are to obey, if we believe the Gospel.

Repent is about being transferred from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God.

It's about changing who you serve, as your Lord.

Repent is the command of the Gospel.

Repent means to turn to God.

If you are called to turn to God, then by default you are called to turn from Satan as your lord.

The way that you express this obedience of faith, concerning the Gospel is to confess Jesus as Lord.

This is what grants the believer/obeyer of the Gospel, the forgiveness of sins.

The way we are granted this, is by repenting, which means turning away from Satan and his kingdom, and turning to God, and confessing Jesus as Lord.

This is plainly what the Lord Jesus Christ taught to and commissioned Paul to do.

15 So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. 17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ Acts 26:15-18

Look closely at what Paul said here in Romans, to see this principle of faith working together with obedience.

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-19

... with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Confession is the action of believing faith.

Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? Thanks for proving once again you are not seeing what I am saying, your reading through some lens, which has filtered out what I am trying to say (Trying to disprove calvinsm??)

I believe what is highlighted. If you would listen, You would KNOW THIS!!! But your trying to fight calvinism or something, so you can not see what I am actually saying.

It has nothing to do with agreeing with me, But thanks for the arrogant comment

What I am sick of is people refusing to listen to other people because they are trying to see through some doctrinal filter. It is obvious you are doing this. And this is why you can not fathom what it is I am saying (it is sadly a habit of far to many people in CC, that is whyt there are so many heated arguments based on false truths and failure to understand what others are trying to say)

As for Grace, You do not think God offers all people grace, and it is by grace all people even have the opportunity to chose to say yes God or no God (I used Cain as an example) so if this is true (if it is not forgive me) then no you do not understand grace completely.
Oh, wow Have you read the title of this thread? It's the same Idea, it is about not by works. Refuting saved be works doctrines.

And I am saying The only work required is accepting the Lord. It's not the work we do. Things like love, charity, kindness, patience you know 1 st Corinth 13 6... till the end. It's not the work we do it's the work of the Holy Spirit within us that causes the changes listed. It's great if we can do more it feels like a blessing to me. It wouldn't feel the same if I thought of it as a chore! I get to work for the Lord because it's not required.

The people the letters weren't exposed to the Gospel mentality. In other words; They had lived most of their lives before hearing about right and wrong. Corinth was in Greece not Israel. They mostly didn't know the Old Testament so Paul could have given them a sound lesson about following the Law PAUL WAS SAUL OF TARSES. He was a Pharisee! He was an accuser of Christians, and he knew the law backwards and forwards. He could have preached the law at them but he skipped that sermon and taught them to have faith, Love the Lord first then love your neighbor and your self equally. Rule #3 read rules 1 & over. If you love me follow my commands came from John immediately after saying Love God first then and care about others and yourself. 1st Cor 13 is a list of the fruits that are shown as the Holy Spirit manifests within our lives.

Our works are dung.
