I agree with you. James the Just is well known, both in scripture as well as in historical evidence, to be very insistent on works for a Jew to be considered justified before God.

The passage in Acts 20:21-25 summed up his perspective very clearly.
Paul said the same thing.

6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value (towards justification). The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. - Galatians 5:6

The only thing that counts towards justification is faith--and this faith is the faith that expresses itself through godly love (the summation of the law).

I can tell you that the jokers in this thread right now that are peddling different gospels for JEWS and GENTILES are as far off base as one can get..........

Yes, but that is because I also follow the principle of rightly dividing the word.

You will have a hard time convincing people here about that, but all the best ;)
Have you’ve ever read, One Book Rightly Divided, first edition by Douglas Stauffer? Excellent! Best book I’ve ever read on rightly dividing the word of truth.

The reason you miss the mark so many times theologically is because of a refusal to acknowledge context and verbiage...

SHOW ME YOUR FAITH is the context of JAMES.....and yes INDEED a man's claim of FAITH can be JUSTIFIED before MEN based upon actions.....

The first line is why you and I will never be in agreement on most truths.....

JESUS was clear.....OUR WORKS before MEN justify our claim of faith and GLORIFY the FATHER
Have you ever done something good and a lost person gave the glory to God?

When The Lord is through building His Church, His attention goes back to the Jews in the tribulation. The age of simply believing the gospel is over. They missed out. They are back to faith plus works to endure to the end.

Nope, they are addressing different audiences. Simple. Paul addresses the body of Christ. James addresses the Jews.
You just reminded me that your doctrine was created to fix the (apparent) contradiction between Paul's justification by faith and James' justification by works. I first heard this doctrine about two kingdoms about twenty years ago.

All one has to do is understand the definitions of 'justified' and they can see there is no contradiction between them at all, and so there is no need to create a two kingdom doctrine to explain a contradiction that doesn't exist. Besides, Paul teaches that the faith that justifies apart from works is the faith that works. So he says the same thing James says anyway.

But you said 'yes' when I asked you if you are depending on a faith that has no works attached to it to save you. So how can you be depending on a faith that has no works attached if you don't have a faith with no works attached?
My salvation does not depend on my works, it solely depends on Jesus Christ.

Right now we are one, but what about when the Lord gathers us together and is done building His Church? Things change.
