I've never seen you quoting a commentary..... maybe that's because none of them agree with you.

Come to think of it, don't remember you using a lexicon either.

I use commentaries, Bible dictionaries, lexicons, interlinear Bibles, & concordances. I've quoted them often.

It's easy to trust them when they almost always agree.

You on the other hand..... I wouldn't trust you no further than I could throw you.

What's dangerous is thinking you don't need them.
How can you, when you have me on ignore (so you claim so often, then seem to out of the blue respond to something I said, what do I touch a nerve?)

And thats ok, You do not have to trust me, I do not trust you either, All you do is come in taking pot shots at people. most of the time nothing of any value, and like I said, most of what you say you need to read yourself.

Maybe you need to read some bible and stop reading mens opinions of what they think the bible says? Or at the least, start read some opinions of people who do not agree with you, and open your heart that you may be wrong

Listen to what he says..... Don't listen to godly, educated, committed christian theologians, or Greek lexicons, or interlinear Bibles..... listen to the yahoos that we don't know in the BDF instead.

Yeah, open your heart to OSAS, hypergrace, & easy believeism..... that's all I see in the BDF.

I think it's offensive & malicious to make claims of what I believe..... that's judging.

I believe we can lose our salvation because it's true, in spite of what hundreds of easy believists say.
Your visceral, constant bitterness and anger, sprinkled with biting sarcasm and dripping condescension, usually prohibit me from responding directly to you.

You need love Stephen. That's pretty clear. You ARE loved Stephen, and if your conscience is beating in your head, please remember this verse:
[h=1]1 John 3:20New King James Version (NKJV)[/h]20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

The prodigal son also believed he could lose his sonship Stephen. He now knows he NEVER lost it. Right before that parable Jesus spoke about leaving the 99 sheep to find the ONE that strayed. He was still a sheep, his Father still loved him so much that he risked wolves coming to the 99 because He couldn't bear LOSING A SINGLE ONE!

Embrace that Stephen. It will change your life and you can be free to love and can stop condemning and judging others.

what is sad is when you get to the point you start believing your own lies. At that point, there is almost no hope. But I have not given up on you, I know all people have hope as long as their is still breath in their body,

Will pray for you, In the mean time, please put me back on ignore.

This person should know better, His lies are always easily shown..

What is said is that more people do not start to call him out on his sinful ways.. It may start to get into his head that no one sees past his lies, and may help him to start seeing his lies himself.
This discussion is pointless, EG. What I was commenting on was

Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.
John 6:59

Now guys and girls, when did feeding on something be a one off event, but rather it is
all about abiding.

So where am I lying? Simply I am not lying but EG wants to create this impression because
he is addicted to slandering me, trying to trap and general be abusive.

So how is me lying easily shown when I have not lied? Now if one is delusional or stupid,
or so self possessed you try and create this argument.

A few days ago it was a sentence wrongly constructed, which I was told meant something
else than the words were written. Rather than admit the sentence was actually wrong,
it was me who could not read. When it has got this silly all you can do is laugh.

Jesus calls us to abide in Him and in His word. Deny this and you obviously know a different
Jesus than the Jesus of the bible.

I suppose if you cannot answer scripture like 1 Cor 10, taking Israel as the example of being
in God but going on to do evil deeds which bring judgement on ones life.

 The trouble with making things up, is it just makes one look stupid and ignorant, not following
the Holy Spirit or Jesus. I am seriously happy to repent of sin, but it appears not only are people
not prepared to read scripture and understand it, they are happy to sin against me and claim they
know Jesus. There is no greater testimony of lostness and spiritual blindness while claiming so
great spiritual authority. Only a hard hearted person with a seared conscience could behave like
this with no fear of the living God.

Every day I stand before the King with a clean conscience and I lift my Holy Hands redeemed by the
blood of the lamb to His great Name and victory through the cross, Amen.

13,000 posts, and they are still here telling you can sin and surely not die. Amazing..
And you are still spreading falsehood....this thread is about biblical salvation...not your sinless perfectionist lie that you spew non-stop......

I think he's under condemnation and is trying to escape by the only way he knows...

Keep dreaming and undermining the grace of God and watering down the blood....your works will not help you make it...as a matter of fact...will keep you from making it.....!

faith plus works for = no salvation

Do you believe each new covenant negates the previous one, or do you believe each new covenant builds on the previous one?
When He said, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.

And your here telling us you have made it, You have arrived, You do not need God anymore, Puffing your chest, and praising God how you are not like us sinners.

And get angry when we say you act like those arrogant self righteous pharisees.

Hey I got an Idea. If you do not need God anymore, Then why don't you go to another room.. Leave us sinners alone so we can continue to seek God
He will find out how false his belief was......too late though......! Just another hypocritical deceptive Pharisee.....

Fran, we had some good conversation yesterday, Can we please try to continue

No one here is preaching against works, I so wish you and a few others would stop believing this lie, We believe works can not save us, and no amount of work we do will ever maintain our salvation, We believe all works are a result of salvation, not a means to keep it.

I know you hate hyper-grace WOF, I know you hate calvanism, But to come up with this idea that they started this new idea that we must not do anything to maintain our salvation is not true. It is a new testament idea, in fact it is even an OT idea. even david understood the law could not save him, and sacrifice and burnt offering of the priest could not allow him forgiveness. David coited many grace sins, yet was called a man after Gods heart as a child. Abraham commited many grave sins, But was imputed righteousness before he commited them or did any work.

What we see in both of them was growth, Abraham went from laughing at God, to having so great faith in God he was willing to sacrifice his son. David understood grace so deeply, he ended up writting many of the psalms, and wanted, but was refused, to build God a house. so the ark could rest.

Granted, I hate a denial of free will, And WOF has hurt alot of people and i think is very dangerous, But to deny grace and eternal security (OSAS) because you hate the rest seems a little overboard to me.. Most all churches has some truth, We shoudl not deny all that these churches teach are a lie. and miss the important parts which are true.

Isreal did that, when they made up these books and called them equal to scripture for fear they would suffer babylon again, WHat was the result, Well ad 70 was part of it.

Again, If you must work to maintain salvation, Your working to earn it, They are the same concept.

And there is nothing you can do to cause God to forgive one sin, let alone the many sins we commit on a monthly bases, we would be deep in debt against God so fact with all the sins, we would be lost with no hope.

the only thing which can forgive sin is the shedding of blood, ie, the cross. The cross occured 2000 years ago. Do you believe God placed all your sin on his body or do you not? Are you trusting God for your past sin, and self for your future, or do you trust God for all your sin?

Just asking.
Funny thing...both she and her cohorts believe in a working for, sinless dogma of keeping their own salvation....yet they lie, embellish and say we say things we do not say....I am still trying to figure out how that helps their case....Have asked, but they fail to answer.....they seem to disappear why they get caught in a lie or an embellishment....

EG - are you ok because you are becoming more illogical and dismissive but without
any real foundation. In the past you actually made some sense.

I know why you are targetting me, because you do not really have any answers left.
Ironic for someone who claims to know the Lord so well.

I wish no harm for you, but I can only stand on Gods word, and its clear declaration
we are to walk as Jesus walked in love of one another through the power of the cross.

Yes I agree the old covenant is obsolete and has been replaced by the new.

The old was for Israel the New for those in Jesus.

Jesus is in us.
God himself, it's internal working and not external.
