No need t be confused....

Abel offered BLOOD which points to the Messiah and promise in Genesis 3:15...his was of FAITH Hebrews 11

Cain offered his own works, no blood and NO FAITH.....and on top of that the ground was cursed......which devalued the offering and in so doing devalued the offering of Christ in picture by Cain's offering
Not sure I will ever get it.
In a sense to me one had to be right and one wrong.

I just have to trust that God knows what he is doing, and as he is doing it he is perfect in it all.

That is correct. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sin.

You cannot go wrong trusting God. You can pray and ask him to help you understand the Scripture. That is a prayer He will honor.

Amen, That is correct, but keep in mind the devils believe in God (Jesus) too. Our belief must be coupled with repentance and obedience. God is not mocked whatever a man sows so shall he reap. We must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Please note Scripture doesn't say work for it.
Work out = to fit out just like a soldier preparing for battle.....he is already s soldier (saved) and now armors up and picks up the shield, helmet and sword....NO one here denies we are to do the works prepared before the casting down of the world and or bear fruit...however...the works and fruit are the result OF salvation and not FOR salvation....to keep or maintain either...!

No I said fear and obedience are not required for salvation...if you are going to quote me, quote me right or do not at all...

As for burning lights he is just another lawyer, who I will not be engaging.
What do you mean by lawyer? God's grace is what saves us, and it is only accessed by faith, but that is not a license to live in sin, but it is the freedom to do what is right. As for whether you engage with me or not, suit yourself.

It does not get any plainer..........Our righteous works have ZERO to do with Salvation!
Two men are standing before God.
One loves evil and unrighteousness. The other loves holiness and righteousness.
Both profess Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

Which one will be accepted by God?

When you answer this question then you should know what is the truth.

That is correct. We can only work out what we have received. Salvation is a gift. One cannot work for or prepare to receive the gift. We must ask for it. Jesus said "ask and you'll receive..." We have either received it or not. Those that didn't receive it have nothing to work out. The fruit God is looking for is not us winning souls; it is the fruit of the spirit in our person lives (Us being conformed to the image of Christ)

Your question is moot..........there are two judgments.....one for the saved and one for the lost....neither will stand before God at the same time unless both are saved or both are lost.....you view also fails to acknowledge that a saved child of GOD can have works of either gold, silver and precious stones and or wood, hay and stubble....it also fails to acknowledge that a saved child of GOD can be cut lose for the destruction of the flesh so the spirit will be saved in the day of Christ....it also fails to take into account that God chastens every son he receives and includes the loss of reward, failing health and even possibly a premature physical death as a consequence of sin.....

Nice try...no cigar...works do not save and or keep saved....and the truth speaks for itself....as noted in my post.....so.....NEXT!

One loves evil and unrighteousness but still professes Christ?

How??
I was going to say this is not possible, but this is possible. It is possible by saying Scripture that someone else believes and is saved.

I think you agree with dcontroversal by this post. So, I don't understand why you are arguing with him? The one that loves holiness and righteousness and professes Christ is on the right track. The one who doesn't is a hypocrite Or double minded not receiving anything from God, but he can still share Scripture. Sharing Scripture doesn't make us right with God

I answered the question......receive it or not pal....

....if both are genuinely saved both will be received one in honor and the other in shame yet received...one with works of gold, silver and precious stones...the other with works of wood, hay and stubble yet saved yet so as thru the fire.....

If the latter or both have not genuinely trusted into Christ both are cooking.....

Your game will not work with me....no matter how you slice, dice and attempt dia words games to make a point or not....!

No, I do not receive your answer just as you did not receive my question.

But if we just apply the verses from the bible and not our own doctrine...you will lose
any debate with me.
