The scripture tells us not to quench the Holy Spirit. If we refuse to confess and repent when He convicts us of sin, we are quenching Him and bit by bit, the conscience becomes hardened. Good luck knowing God’s will with a seared conscience. The only recourse is man theology assuring you of what you want to hear when you’ve rendered yourself deaf to Him.
Which scripture would that be?

Genuine believers have not refused to confess and repent and do not have a seared conscience. Also, quenching the Holy Spirit is likened to suppressing fire. When believers do what we know is wrong and are not allowing the Holy Spirit to work through us, we suppress or quench the Holy Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:19-21) Now who has not at times grieved the Holy Spirit? Yet believers are still sealed by the Holy Spirit until the redemption of the purchased possession/unto the day of redemption. (Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:30)

More belittling and attacking? No worries, even though this is who you are, I don't go around whining and reporting.

Nothing you said is true, plus he's answered your questions plainly. Nothing you've ever said has caused our beliefs to be in question.
Who said I was trying to change your view?

You think to highly of yourself. Nothing you have said has ever changed our view either. Again with you straw man remarks.

And no like you he has not answered a few of my questions. So as usual luring is ok in your book. Yet you judged another sinner. Does it make you feel better?

Do you share in his sufferings? If so, how.

It says IF we share in his sufferings. That’s a conditional promise meaning we must DO something for our part. OSAS always skips the conditions required to receive the promise.

.This, by the way, is not what you said God said. You are changing your story.
There are no "conditions" >>>> "works" to receive the gift of salvation

It always goes right back to what they did, their free will, God "helped" them to salvation (part them, part God, by his own admission right here in this thread!) they chose, God saw they would so he gave them eternal life for doing it, which is 100% merit and not grace.
It is not merit when you give 100 % trust in someone else

Again please stop

I am used to answers with little to no foundation ... answers like, "you are wrong because your interpretation is incorrect". Like dah, I assumed that to be true. I was hoping for corroborating evidence which I seldom get. ... or instead of an answer to my question I will get a question instead .... or, I will get back to you.

Aside: Judges1318's theology was off (IMO), but at least he responded to questions and gave some scripture. Gee, even Micaiah-imla gets credit for that. She at least puts up an argument.
Just because you do not like our answers does not mean we do Not answer

Do I need to start taking a list of times you have been answered yet demand you have not?

And as most blind religionists do....they concentrate on sin instead of grace.....Wisdom is justified of her children for sure!!!!!

Too bad you miss one of the biggest pictures of grace in the O.T. by focusing on sin instead of Christ!

You missed my point.

Even though we have GRACE, our sins still are being paid through us in terms of things that happen in our lives. So, even though a sin might not erase our Salvation, a sin can ruin your life in human terms.

Do you not know that Mercy from the Prophets views was presented in Hebrew and Grace was presented by Paul in Greek?

Or, are you so shallow you you spent time twisting peoples words like you do Scripture?

None of you still haven't addressed the fact that the WRITERS of the KJV Bible claimed it was not a Bible.

So, why are you quoting something that is a paraphrase?
Why are you basing your Salvation from King James words and not from God?
Why are you so Stupid?

The Writers said, they copied the words down what king james said in parliment!

They said, they have never read a Bible before so had no idea if king james was correct or not.

And you are basing your Salvation off of that hahahahahahahahaha

The stupid is real around here!

Everyone of your Doctrines is based off an opinion!

You don't know if it from God or not, but we know it is from King James himself!

It sure read like that ... well then perhaps you should clarify?

I will, but need to run for a second.

But tell me this, if the KJV writers are correct and the KJV is not a Bible, do you feel secure by going what a paraphrase says for your Salvation?
