For those who feel betrayed by the earthly church.., just remember the only person who is perfect is Jesus. We are just imperfect humans trying our best to glorify Him.

So I ask mercy, grace and forgiveness for all who may have hurt you and hope those I have hurt will forgive me also.

Perhaps we can sit and watch the raindrops fall together?

Very sad, hurting people, struggling people, believers and non believers.

Maybe we should just take them outside and shoot them. A lost easier than being doctors and nurses to the wounded.

Lets just get the crap of society out of the church because they have no place in the church.

Sorry a bit of a rant but for some it seems to be reality
don't feel bad bro, you see where some of my passion comes from, and why I go crazy so to speak against certain things,

i have the same problem, I always wake up in deep sweat my oldest has died, I can hardly handle stress, like my mother I smoked to tak are of it, I hid it from th church, n help there, when my wife kicked me out I broke. Turned to sin, nothing helped, I quit smoking 4 years ago, but started again, two yeas ago my grandson was born, considering m mm passed from emphasima, I quit for God two years ago,

i am on anxiety meds, sometimes they help sometimes they do not, I had a severe attack a few weeks ago in a mountain had to stop in middle of a highway next to a cliff and let my wife drive, that was dangerous, I scuba dive, but times I can not get in water.

Your not not alone bro, my brothers in Christ help me out,

i am with ya bro, you have my prayers, your not alone

i am sure I gave a few more fuel to attack me but I do not care, I am done with some people
It is one thing to judge doctrine or dogma, but to judge an individual and point the finger always equals 3 more pointing back at yourself.....who cares what they think...and anyone having anything to say about this will show how sorry they really are..

Gonna open up a little bit here.

I suffer from severe anxiety, it takes effort to get out of bed, it takes effort to run a company of 30 people.
Ensuring they are paid to meet their needs.

When anxiety is at its worst I just want turn lights off and curl up in the corner (which I used to do)
Even as I type this I'm really struggling.

For 27 years this has been my story.

I have the most amazing wife, 4 beautiful kids and all have placed their faith in Jesus and I love them dearly.

I cant give up though and here is where I'm gonna open up.

My anxiety tskes me places I don't want to go to. My thoughts seem to control me. I have dreams of my kids dying, my wife dying, 30 employees on the street cause the business has gone bust.

But I do everything for everyone in my life and I ask Jesus to help me do it. If he didn't I couldn't do it.

I can't seem to shake them off, no matter how much prayer I have prayed.

So my outlet is to have a few beers of an evening, with a smoke.

So given a lot of posts I've read on this thread some would say I'm going to hell.
It's ok brother. I'm not sure if telling you that Myself, and many other Christians, have very similar experiences makes you feel any better. But I DO know that whether it's on these boards, on TV, at Church or work, or in your own head, attacks will come from the enemy of your soul and mine.

He hates that YOU will inherit what he gave up. That his Creator and ours, love us, and gave us eternal life with Him. And he certainly doesn't want you to be an effective Christian. Bringing others to the Truth of His Gospel.

So take heart brother. YOU are greatly loved by The Most High, AND your brothers and sisters in His Son.

We are all fighting a rough battle and life isn't fair; it is important that we help one another out of the hole considering ourselves lest we fall. Thank God that His grace is sufficient to see us through even though it doesn't seem like it at the time. He does give us the strength at the time we need it and not before; nevertheless, I choose to trust God anyway and believe that all things are working together for our good, because we love God and are called according to His purpose.

God bless you brother. Thankyou for sharing.
Do I need medication for stability or emotional imbalance, or anxiety?
No, but it does not mean but by the grace of God, it might not be so.

In Christ Jesus meets us inside, with all our weakness and failures exposed,
all our sin confessed and mourned over, and He embraces us.

There is no pretence, we are weak broken people in need of God.
But the truth is every human is in this place, and into eternity only in communion
is the reality of life experienced.

I spent most of my childhood surviving my de-stressing and searching for truth and
reality. Emotions do not rule in life, Jesus and His love do. I owe my life and all I am
to Him and His words and His deeds.

So God bless you, and know the Lord loves us all deeper than we can ever imagine,
so we need to learn how to listen to the Lord of creation.

you need to understand biblical perfection, God said Job was perfect, it means morally upright, of sound mind, and mature, free from the vile sins of the flesh...And of course job was not as perfect as Jesus.....none are free from ignorance, human frailty, being made subject to vanity, for the makers good purpose...but their were many perfect people in the bible, and they were not expected to be as perfect as Jesus...be blessed

Biblical perfection = spiritually mature in Christ, part of His body, showing spiritual fruit of walking with him, sound doctrine and ability to discern good from evil.

It does not equal sinless perfection.

Many people in the Bible were blameless...only Jesus was sinless.

Job sinned after being falsely accused by his three friends. elihu rebuked Job. Job repented when faced with God's questioning.

The Bible tells us all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory (including Job)

All are in need of a Savior.

Thank God He sent Jesus.

This is quite a claim "Some people use the law as a club to beat others with"

What are you referring to?
Are you suggesting someone with addiction problems or sexual inclinations that are not healthy
should not be challenged or something else?
Its the new age tolerance trend Peter, they are tolerant of most anything except the truth..

That's a lie.

Beating others with the law is what the Pharisees did...they told folks to obey certain laws but broke them themselves.

It would be like a preacher preaching about the sanctity of marriage and condemning people who lived together and not married while having an adulterous affair.

Or telling people they have to be sinless before praying or trying to approach God's throne.

Beating people up with the law is when folks use it to condemn instead of teach.

To oppress instead of free people from bondage.

sinless perfection is a made up straw-man and is not a biblical term...its is often lifted up to defend the vile sins of the flesh that Paul said would disqualify one from the kingdom....Zachorias and Elesbeth were perfect from this respect, however not free from sins of ignorance, moments of doubt, human frailty, moments of anger, however not having the sun set on that anger...God says their perfect, and today's easy grace crowd says they weren't perfect..I believe God over the whims of men...They were sinless in the respect that the did not engage in the vile sins of the flesh that Paul said would send one to hell if continued..I know its difficult for masny to comprehend living a moral and upright life with out these sins, but many did in the old and new testament....Nathaniel for example, and Simeon, ....but those that reject this will keep lifting up there sinless perfection strawman,, my response to them based on sound reasoning is that they must believe in sinful perfection.....

those by the way were sins of ignorance and moments of doubt..I can assure you Job was not a pedophile, not an idolater, not a gossiper, not a fear monger, not an extortionist, not a railer, did not blaspheme God, not an adulterer, not a fornicator, not a thief, not a liar, not a busybody, not a covetous man, not a false witness, and of such doers of these things Paul said they are disqualified from inheriting the kingdom...Therefore Job was perfect, just as God said he was....To be blameless means to be with out moral fault before God, THAT'S ALL HE EXPECTS FROM ANYONE...nothing more nothing less......

PS I never said they were not in need of a Savior, all have sins of ignorance, that's what the day of atonement was for in the OT....

Please clarify the law it has multiple meanings in the text...The moral law is still in effect and was in effect since Cain and Able,(in fact it has been MAGNIFIED in Christ and lifted to a higher level, its now the law of the Spirit, however, the ordinances and ceremonial laws of Moses have been nailed to the cross, never to be again, this is what the Pharisees were hung up on, yet still living in sin.....please study the scripture before making foolish attacks, it makes you look unlearned and silly..
