He spoke of those who endured tribulation. And he is speaking of having your physical life saved, Not your spiritual

So you are already twisting the word of God..

They may as well not defend it to a mocker like you

We are going to be judged, yes, but there is now no _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
for those in Christ Jesus. I tell you these things, that you may continually guess
at whether or not you are actually saved. Oops, that is not what John said. He
told us we could KNOW we were saved (have eternal life).

I used to wonder why we focus on good works not being a part of our salvation because it is our work if we are a part of our Fathers Kingdom. In fact Messiah has said as much. "Who is my mother, brother, etc..." What is the defining attribute our Lord says next? Mark 3: 35, Matt 12: 50, "does the will of my Father in Heaven.". The reitousness of the commands of God in other words have not been done away with as the condemnation has been. Neither has the grace of God spontaneously made you obedient to the law of God or His Messiah. The reitousness of the Instructions inspired by YHWH have been given a life giving Spirit rather than death and condemnation that it used to bring mankind through Israel to its knees in worship of the one true God. Because YHWH does however desire that mankind worship him in truth and spirit he sent Yeshua Messiah to bring us close to the covenants and even give the helper Spirit to lead us into all truth. This should bring us all to keep the commands out of love for them and God. Just a thought to think about, is it our hearts of wickedness that pervert this truth? That if we are "saved" we keep the commands and testimony of Yeshua Messiah and we rest in the sign of the covenants as he does.

I sort of understand what they are saying, up to a point. Though some say we have eternal life now, we are not resurrected to our incorruptible, immortal bodies yet. That is the only way I can understand what they are saying. It seems to be splitting hairs.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

It's just a lazy theology that was created to help people not have to fully except the burden to live for Christ. Basically the believers of this are confused on what causes them to act.
But there is a reason this has been debated over and over because we have scriptures from both arguments. But the beautiful thing is when you combine all scripture and not ignore the ones that don't support your puppet theology

There is no condemnation in christ not no judgement...

Are you not to judge those inside? 13God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked man from among you.”Expel the Immoral Brother
…11But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.

Going to Heaven is not salvation. And we have died with Christ, and been raised with Him to life, eternal life. We have eternal life because we have Jesus Christ, who is the life.

Why do you judge me? This is my first post on here no second only after bidding you all Peace in Yeshua. Now read my post again for I have said nothing to offend also I too am saved by grace, through faith. "For it is by his grace that we have been saved through faith, and this faith was not from you, but it is the gift of God," eph 2:8

The thing is if you are fully controlled by the Holy Spirit 100% of the time. That means any time you get angry or have a fallen human moment. Your saying that's of God too?

I see it as an Americanized water down theology that takes all responsibility off of the believer. How many times have you been sitting on the couch and saw a commercial of homeless children? As Christians we will get feelings of compassion and the urgency to help. But how many turn the channel or make an excuse? This example is how the Holy Spirit works in us. It's not of our own to want to do this since humans are selfish by nature.

But it's up to our relationship and cooperation in Christ. No relationship how can that save anyone?

The above example. Just think if you made a habit of ignoring the spirit which we all do from time to time. In ignorance to the Spirit it's easy to fall prey to deliberate sin.

Now the always saved crowd says you will always be saved no matter how you live out the rest of your days. This is why the Bible is always warning to stay ready and don't be idle.
