This 1260 day time period is referred to 7 times in the Bible's prophecies;
three times as a time, times, and half a time;
twice as 42 months; and
twice as 1,260 days.

One prophetic day equals one literal year (Ezekiel 4:6; Numbers 14:34).

Not a second chance, its that they never had a pray of a chance to start with. What do you think God will just toss them in the lake of fire without a fair shot at knowing the whole truth taught by Christ the savior Himself for a thousand years?

To deceive even the elect I'f Possible.Revelation chapter 3 verse 10,Because thou hast kept the word of my( PATIENCE!)key word,I also will keep thee from the hour of (TEMPTATION)which shall come upon( ALL THE WORLD)and people living at that time,to try them that dwell upon the earth.Faithfulness to Christ will keep you from being deceived.

God is sending Satan, and said it would happen, just as he said Israel would go into captivity to the Babylonian kind of old. God meant what He said then. And He means it when He warns us about Satan in his role as Antichrist. It's going to happen to the letter as its written.
They see visions of peace, and things from their own hearts saying the Lord said. But He never told them anything. That reminds me of Ezekiel 13:
13 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the Lord;
3 Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord.
6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

The way we are kept, form being tempted, is by knowing the truth. While everyone else will see Satan as tempting in all his miricals the bible records he will do. Those that do know their God, will not find him tempting. But a abomination. Those are the people God will use during that time
