Israel = believers only. There are no members who are not born again.
100% correct!

Israel the Church, children of the promised seed.

Romans 9:6-8KJV
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Actually, currently biblical focus is on 2Chronicles. Jesus setting His feet on the Mount of Olives splitting it in two from the east to the west ain't no symbol in my estimation.
That's a mighty big man. Do you expect to see any red dragons or green horses too?

So God's word is less important?
Dave, it seems to me that you just constantly make stuff up. The thing is, I do enjoy our exchanges but perhaps they are not spiritually edifying for either of us. Here is another thing that you may not know about me, I would rather be happy than to prove a point while hurting someone else in the process of trying to destroy their beliefs whatever they may be.

Zechariah 14:1-12 below shows the Lords return to earth in fire in final judgement.

(Verse 1) shows "The Day Of The Lord" also seen in 2 Peter 3:10-13 "Fire Judgement" below

(Verse 2) Shows that all nations are gathered for the final battle of armageddon.

(Verses 3-5) shows the Lords return, and his eternal feet touch down on the earthly Mt, of Olives, and in the "Twinkling Of An Eye" 1 Cor 15:52 takes place, in the catching up, resurrection, final judgement by fire, and the New Heavens, Earth, and Jerusalem being revealed for eternity, judgement complete, eternity begins.

(Verses 6-7) Eternal light seen, in the eternal kingdom, Rev 22:1-5

(Verse 8) The river of life is seen, Rev 22:1-5

(Verse 10) The New creation is being revealed, the plain is lifted up.

(Verse 12) "The Day Of The Lord" showing the "Last Day" judgement by the Lords fire, as men are consumed as they stand on their feet, 2 Peter 3:10-13

Zechariah 14:1-12KJV
14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 but it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the Lordshall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.
11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

2 Peter 3:10-13KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 22:1-5KJV
22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner offruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 and they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

1 Corinthians 15:52KJV
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

I think we need more dedication to the word as a priority.

Dave how do you believe Jesus Christ will return to earth?
We have a vague idea that it will be at the end of the world. Just before the universe explodes into a new heaven and earth. Preceded by or during the resurrection, the rapture. But you won't know the details until it is past.

We agree, Jesus returns in fire and final judgement 2 Peter 3:10-13

Yes the catching up and resurrection takes place before this last day judgement.

I don't mean to be harsh I only mean to be accurately descriptive.
When you are 100% wrong 100% of the time you are in a lot of trouble.
I think this person is stuck in a very very bad church situation, And I pray that he can escape from it. I myself have been in a similar situation a number of times, but I never committed to it and I never bought into it, though I entertained it for a season. I realized even then in my ignorance that it was bogus. Despite the anguish and disappointment it really ended up turning into a learning experience and strengthened my faith in the end.
I am on many sites that he is on, and I have different handles, so I know him very well, and I agree, hes almost always wrong, on just about every issue. So I just stopped trying to go back and forth with him, it was a waste of time tbh. I mean there are a few things that God decided to keep hemmed up unit the end of time, but we are now living in those times, God has pretty much told us everything we need to know,

The reason people believe like this, IMHO, is they take singular verses and create unsoundly eschatologies by not going line upon line precept upon precept. You see, the Day of the Lord seems to be ONE DAY to MANY PEOPLE, but people who don't believe in the 1000 year reign add this verse in.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

So you see, there can't be a 1000 year reign guys, because this world BURNS UP on the Day of the Lord, but of course, the DOTL starts via ONE DAY and ends when Jesus incinerates this earth 3.5 years PLUS 1000 years later, I think this earth is hell and the wicked are left on this earth forever. So Jesus rules on this earth 1000 years, then the New Jerusalem comes down, and we leave the wicked on this earth as thus condemned, to hell forevermore.

The Day of the Lord begins with God's Wrath and runs through Jesus' 1000 year reign. Thus the burning described indeed comes via the DOTL, at the very end. The Day of the Lord thus lasts 1000 years PLUS 3.5 years.

Reading your responses it appears you deny a literal he'll and fire in torment for the wicked?

Jesus refuted millennialism. So it happens as Peter and Jesus say.

Thousand years represents a unknown we walk by faith.

The day of the Lord. The last day.

he phrase last day is used in John 6 times .it inform us the day in the winkling of the eye Cast the bock of the law as to the letter along with its sufferings into the fire of Gods judgment. it will not rise and condemn to death through corruption ever again .the same twinkling of the eye the saints receive the propmised of the new incorruptible bodies .They will arise out of their sleep on the last day and meet those that were reigning with the gospel ,in the same twinkling of the eye .

No six days needed to create the end .It will come like a thief in the night.

John 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

I would be careful with that kind of idea. Seven as a seal is used as a metaphor. Just as mountains as denominations of this world. Seven Kings, seven Kingdoms. (no sign is given)

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

I would offer the same thing we see in the first beast, the literal spirit of lies.
