No one has proved it false prophecy! You just say it is. I don't think you even studied true prophecy. Just because there are false prophets you say I am one. Thats ridiculous! You are a false teacher by the way. Did God call you to teach people the Scripture? Are you claiming to be a teacher above the pastors? The teacher is third! I Corinthians 12:28 So if I should take a test or prove to you I can prophesy, you should take a test to prove you are called to be a teacher or stop posting threads trying to teach people something.
Um If your words contradict scripture. They are not from God. One doe snot have to be a teacher to discern scripture. or a person who claims to be a prophet.

You should study scripture more. You would not misinterpret it so much. and then make a false saying and claim it to be from God.

By the way. Scripture says all gifts are JUST as important. there is no one gift over another. there are gifts more desireable than others. But God makes it clear. The big toe is just as important as the heart. without one, the church falls on its face.

Well, in the same place, the very same sentence where Paul wrote about the Pastor/Teacher, he also wrote about the apostles and the prophets. If we are no longer to have either of these, then what is to say we are to have Pastors and Teachers, or even evangelists?

I am sorry, but your doctrine is a mix of things that meet certain criteria of yours, and that tend to ignore those things which do not agree with what you believe.

In any case, what do we do when the Pastor is wrong? Or the teacher? Who corrects them? Especially if they have stopped listening to God, if they ever did in the first place.

Trust in your bible. I truly hope that it serves you well.
God is more than able to correct and restore those that He has raised up to serve Him. If God raised them up, it is His job to keep them, you do know that right?

Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

That is a promise from God and I do believe that God can keep His promise and all those things that are committed to Him (1Kgs 8:56, 2Cor 1:20, 2Tim 1:12). That is why there is no need for that OT prophet or even a NT prophet with the OT flavorings. I am sure that any pastor-teacher called and raised up of God will have a few Spirit-filled friends or elders that he serves with that he could confide in if it was needed for what ever reason. Paul probably did, but you and I will never know their confidences because they had integrity through the word and through grace.

ya...and the word used IN EVERY INSTANCE when not directly related to the Godhead means MATURE, COMPLETE. and even means that when referring to the Godhead in reference to the instruction to be LIKE Him. when commanding men to be perfect (complete, mature, full, upright)

this whole thing is really about literally becoming God because someone thinks Jesus has replicated a billion jesus' and there's one in each of us.

just no clue about how it is we are partakers of the Divine nature, or how it is we commune with the Father Son and Spirit.

anyways.....i'm just a really really really really grateful sinner saved by mercy and grace of a Loving and Powerful God who came, and told us He would, and called his Name Emmanuel and washed me and said i could call Him Daddy.

i don't wanna be a god. or a prophet. i just wanna see you guys in Glory for all time...and behold our King Who is Pure Light, yet He will walk and talk with us. call us a pet name known only by He and us alone.

and He will sing, and we will sit down with Him, and He will touch us, and wipe away tears.

You still haven't proved the prophecy is false. You just say so? Who cares what you make up. It is a prophecy and you will be judged by God. You don't even know how to know if it's a real prophecy. You haven't studied and you don't give Scriptural proof. You just quote the verses on false prophets. That doesn't make the prophecy false.

would they be sitting behind a computer screen or would they have a ministry where they talk face to face with people around them about Jesus and bring them to Him through repentance (exhortation) or helping them grow through edification or helping them heal through comfort?
What if God has called them to speak to those who come to christian forums?

Not everyone is a cessationist. Millions of people believe otherwise. You will not find a verse for the cessation of prophets. You have a false doctrine that you apply to the Scriptures. It's not in there. You just teach what you believe. You Add to the Scripture your doctrine. God is still founding His Church in the hearts of men. The people who lived in Christ time have been dead 2,000 years. You act like they built the Church and everything ended that happened in the Church. It was built on Christ. It was impowered by the Holy Spirit and there is no way you can prove that millions of believers are wrong in the Spirit. We believe we live in the last days prophsied by Joel just like the New Testaments authors.

1. Prophets don't quote scripture a bunch of times and call it prophesy. Read the OT prophets. did they quote scripture and repeat it over an over and over? No. they spoke words directly from God which have not been heard before. A 12 year old could do what you do. should I call them a prophet?

2. Prophets don't speak in old english (well unless your joseph smith)

3. Prophets don't teach that Baptism of the Holy Spirit is something it is not.

4. Prophets don't demand Christians asked to be baptized with the Holy Spirit. for a true prophet would know a person who is a true Christian has already been baptized by the Holy Spirit. For if they have not been, they would not be saved.

I could go on and on and on. but why bother.

You are a false teacher, never is the Baptism of Holy Spirit associated with Salvation. You don't even study the scriptures. I never quoted a Scripture in the prophecy for the record. If you think it sounds like Scripture that is because it is from God.

Wow. You think I need to study?

Matt 3: 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.[b] 12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Of course as a self proclaimed prophet of God you should know what this means. But since you don't You have to be taught.

1. 3 baptisms. Water, Holy spirit, and Fire.

2. John explains the 3.

He uses a farming tool. where a winnowing fan is used to separate wheat from chaff. Jesus is the one using the winnowing fan. The HS and Fire are the means by which the wheat is put in the barn for storage until it is taken out. And the Fire is what happens to the chaff.

the wheat represents the person who is saved. He is placed into the barn until his sa;vation is complete.

The chaff represents those who are not saved. They will be burnt with fire.

1. His. water, Done because of repentnace.
2. Holy Spirit., Done to bring wheat into the barn Thus baptism in or of the HS is what saves a person.
3. Fire/ Done to the chaff after ALL the wheat is gathered. The chaff will be burned with a fire that shall never be quenched. Scripture only speaks of one kind of eternal fire. and that is hell.

everyone will be baptized by Christ.. you chose which one you want. The HS to salvation. or fire because you rejected salvation!

as for scripture, proving it is from God. All it does is prove you know alot of scripture and put it together and add a few words and call it proph
esy. It does not make you a prophet ..

The holy spirit was NOT given to anyone until pentecost. Thus no one was baptized by him until then. And no one was annointed by him until then.

finally. you should study the word. Instead of trying to make a religious symbol out of it.

to annoint means to put on or in. This is the HS coming IN US.

Baptise means to immerse, or dip in. The is someone doing something to us.

The gifts of the spirit come from the HS entering us, and empowering us with his gift as HE SEES FIT. This is called the annointing. Not the baptism. The baptism saves us. It does not do anything else!

If you can't get this right. how can you ever expect us to think you speak for God???????

John 20:22 "And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Recieve ye the Holy Ghost:"
John 14:17 "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot recieve, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."
The Apostles already recieved the Holy Spirit before the day of Pentecost. You can't recieve the Holy Spirit unless you are saved. But they still recieved the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. This makies it two different occurenses. We recieve the Holy Spirit when we are saved. We are baptized in the Holy Spirit when we seek baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Acts 2, Acts 10

What if God has called them to speak to those who come to christian forums?
then they should learn more about who they are speaking to and not assume they are God and make a FIRM distinction between when God speaks through them and when they speak for themselves.

they should listen twice as much as they speak or in this case read twice as much as they post ;) Because what should their TRUE purpose be upon posting?

Proving they are right or showing God's love and truth to the world?

Johnathon, people could not receive the Holy Spirit until AFTER Jesus ascension into Heaven. perhaps you should reread the WHOLE NT and pray about it? without influences from your church?

John 14

15 “If you love Me, keep[d] My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

you see that the HOLY Spirit is not sent until AFTER Jesus has left and the World sees Him no more.

Johny boy. This is exactly what I mean about you need to study the word of God. If you would actually study, you would not make such mistakes.

1. Before pentecost. The HS came upon people many times. But it was NOT an eternal thing, Unlike the promise of Christ which came after pentecost.

2. Jesus said he must go away. For if he did not go away he could not send the helper. This means the HS could not enter permanently anyone until Christ left.

3. Jesus said in Acts:1

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit
has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me[a] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Why would the HS have to come upon them if they already had him? why would the HS have to wait till then if they already did miracles through the HS (when they went out in twos sent by Christ during his 3 year ministery)

Come upon means anoint. Not Baptize. Dont you remember the OT symbology? What was it called when the holy oil was poured onto something? was it called baptize? which means to immerse? NO. It was called the Anointing!

What happened on pentecost is the Holy Spirit came upon them (annointed them) after they were the first people ever to be baptized by the spirit (washed completely clean and baptized into the church) and because of this anointing (not baptism). The spirit gave them gifts as he determined.

Speaking in tongues is not proof one is baptized in the spirit. even Paul claimed not everyone would do this. or any miracles at all. Yet ALL people who are saved are baptized in the HS.

Like John said. ALL will be baptized buy Christ. Either in the HS or in Fire.
as usual, not one word of refutal or rebuttle with my interpretation of the passage? Why do you all do this? You say I am wrong. but never show why or how.

and how are we supposed to listen to you??

I don't think you have enough Biblical proof of what you say. You teach a false doctrine. John14 said they would "receive" the Holy Spirit and that when they "recieved" the Holy Spirit the Spirit would be "in" them. In John 20 Jesus said "receive" the Holy Ghost. So they were saved and the Spirit was "in" them. Acts 1 Jesus said "But ye shall recieve power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:" Acts 2 the fulfillment of Acts 1 is Acts 2 Acts 2:4 "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." We also read in Acts 10:46 "For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God..." People speak with other tongues when they recieve the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Because the Apostles recieved the Holy Spirit "in" them in John 20. They were latter Baptized in the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. That makes it two different events. John 14 is the prophecy and teaches that the Holy Spirit will be in those who "receive" the Holy Spirit.
John14 = John 20
Acts 1 = Acts 2

lets take it slowly....

why does Jesus send the Holy Spirit?

What is the difference between the Holy Spirit in the OT and the NT AFTER Jesus Ascension?

what do you make of THESE passages?

Luke 1
41 And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. 45 Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

before Ascension being filled with the Holy Spirit was a temporary thing but afterwards the promise to the children of God is ETERNAL in dwelling of the Holy Spirit.

did you read the One Baptism verse? why do you contradict God's written Word?

Ephesians 4:4-6
New King James Version (NKJV)
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you[a] all.

No my friend.

you need to study a few things.

1. What the greek word baptizo means (the english word is a transliteration of this word, thus the english defenition MUST be interpreted by using the greek word.

2. john 14: 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

yet Jesus said in acts one that the holy spirit had not yet come into them. why is this?

why do you want to make the bible contradict itself john? Did Jesus lie?

and again. no refutal of what I said. is this how you act? you disregard what a person says and just tell them they are wrong without showing them why they have misinterpreted a passage

here is a prophesy. You will continue to do this. because you can't show where an interpretation is in error. You will continue instead to just post the same stuff over and over which does not support your theory or belief. You will not look to see what Baptizo really means, and continue to misinterpret what the baptism of the HS is.

This is one prophesy I hope you prove me wrong on!

EG you did read this post right?

by Johnathon:

"I'm not claiming to be an apostle, just a prophet. So far I have been picked up by the police for tring to preach the gospel on the street. I was put in the mental hospital for claiming to be a prophet. And I had my face broken for preaching to someone who was violent. Thank God they put my nose back on. They let me go home from the mental hospital, I still claim to be a prophet. And I think I know a church where I can street preach in the future and not be picked up by the police. That's all just one year of being a prophet."

he doesn't get it. God did not say when you are perfected. or when They are perfected. he said when "That" is perfected. it is not a he she it is an it.

the only It I know which has been , or will ever be perfected is the word of God, scripture!

Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. When I was a child, I used to speak as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, then then face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully just as I also have been fully known. But now abide faith, hope, love, these three, but the greatest of these is love.

I will tell you the truth, if anyone believes that this references scripture, then they have denied Jesus Christ and His return to bring perfection to creation. If anyone believes that this refers to scripture, they have claimed to know fully, in perfection, without possibility of error. If anyone believes that this refers to scripture, they are false, and have raised up an idol against the knowledge of God.
