Pretty sure that has to do with them not believing in the deity of Christ. OK that’s a good one, that’ll be number one

1. The deity of Christ
That's exactly it. If a translation of the bible does not agree with the deity of Christ than that translation is unreliable. The entire bible is about the deity is about the deity of Christ. Just from that one sentence I concluded the JW bible is not a Christian bible. I'm not saying that all JW members are not Christian but they, as a whole, are seriously spiritually misguided.

so your saying they are not Christian?
What in your opinion does one have to believe or do to be a Christian? Or to put it another way, "Are you a Christian?" If so how did you become a Christian? If not, then your question is "moot."

makes little difference what i believe, i do not think of myself as the final authority on deciding who is a Christian and who is not. trashing other peoples beliefs for no reason other than that are different would personally make me feel like a scumbag.

You appear to have the JW's confused with The Latter Day Saints (Mormons). Both groups are Cults and both use dodgy Bibles. One main difference as far as I can see is that the JWs lies are more easily swallowed by an average person than Joseph Smiths golden
plates and magic glasses.
I my gosh tanakah thank you for the correction....yeah I clearly went off my meds there..😕😕😕😕😕

On the other hand, it does make a huge difference what a person believes:
If one believes in Jesus Christ for salvation the end is heaven
If one does not believe Jesus Christ for salvation the end is hell!

It is mercy and love to confront others about wrong beliefs if it will lead them to hell.

I believe in the God of Abraham and I believe God sent Jesus. Jesus performed many miracles, healing the sick, giving sight to the blind and even raised the dead. I believe Jesus died a horrible death. I do not believe however, that Jesus was God in the flesh, God will send Jesus back to correct all those who believed this false teaching.

Am I Christian? No. This is what muslims believe, if I believed this I would not be Christian.

JW’s are not Christian, neither are mormons, muslims, hindus, buddhists, satanists or any other religion that denies the deity of Jesus.

They all believe in Jesus is the way. Yet they all have different views on what "The way" means.

Where does Jesus teach that?

Where does the bible teach anything but the deity of Jesus as the Christ of God? It is the spirit of anti-Christ that denies the deity of Christ.

If you don't believe Jesus was God in the flesh, what do you make of John 1? If you don't believe Jesus is God, you believe in a false Jesus who cannot save, and a false gospel which is not good news, and a false light that is darkness.

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

They all believe in Jesus is the way. Yet they all have different views on what "The way" means.
Cults do not believe in The Jesus. There is only one God. The cults might claim to believe in a Jesus or a god, but their Jesuses and their gods are not The One Jesus Who is God in the flesh, and the only One who can save.

No. I work with a Jehovah witness and today he told me something about Adam being perfect.
That kind of idea follows after Catholiscim who copied the faithless (no faith, not little) Jewish fathers as a law of men. Out of sight out of mind. No faith of Christ working in them needed.

Perfect eternal corrupted flesh and blood. The kind that Peter went to town (John 21) and started a oral tradition saying that John would never die .

Both Catholiscim and JW's not mention all, like Mormons. They must at all costs walk by sight after the temporal things seen .

Ultimately its literal blood as to how we understanding its purpose and use throughout the Bile that causes division between Catholicism and JW's.

As in many cases men deny a parable is in view and they try to find ways around searching out the spiritual understanding (faith to faith) hid from natural unconverted mankind. .

The Catholics invented what is called transubstantiation (eating flesh drinking blood.)

Where the JW's do the opposite. Forbid literal taking in literal blood even to a point of

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.54-57

Christians recognizing a parable is in view search the scriptures in a hope of finding the spiritual understanding hid in other parables that refer to drinking the blood of men.

How we understand how faith works is the key needed to rightly divide the parables. We look at the temporal to give us the understanding of the "perfect". . again found in parables.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

It had to be God on the cross.
That is why Jesus is the God man.

Think death/resurrection.

Only God could be a sinless sacrifice and man at the same time.

Only God could resurrect from the dead.

Take the God factor out of JESUS'S testimony and there is no redemption.

None

After rereading this I realized it may confuse some, I obviously believe in the deity of Christ. Hope the edit clears any possible confusion.

I live right in the neighborhood of the Hill kimora. Jehovah witnesses are all around me. They are a cult.
They are not allowed nor practice reading the Bible they have a second Bible which was written by Joseph Smith that they follow.
Joseph Smith said that the Bible was incorrect. That Satan had corrupted the written word.
They believe that Jesus came to the Americas after his Ascension and gave Joseph Smith the true vision.
Need I go any further?
Hello friend, you're mixing up JW's with Mormons. JW's typically read the New World Translation (NWT), the authorship of which is unknown. The Mormon bible was created by Joseph Smith, the JW's have no affiliation with him or his bible whatsoever. JW's do not believe Satan has corrupted Gods word, again it's Mormons that believe that. In regards to Jesus going to America after his death, that again is a Morom belief and not a JW one whatsoever.

Why are they not allowed to read scripture and make their own choices?

The scriptures don't allow a choice on this topic. There is only one God, and only Jesus can save us from our sin.

I spoke with some of those post-teen 'elders' that travel around a few years back now because I wanted to know first hand what they believed.
One of them admitted to me that he had never read the bible before *facepalm*

Some of the things I learned about the JWs practice on how they treat these 'elders' is downright terrible. It's a cult and they don't realise they're in it.

We felt so bad for them that we bought them bags of groceries for Christmas. They were almost living on rations. The JWs take thousands of dollars from them before their 'mission' and give them allowance like its a trust fund or something.
I think you have JW's mixed up with Mormons from the sounds of it. JW's don't take money from anyone and do not require anyone to pay a dime when doing missionary service all expenses are paid by the organisation, on the other hand, Mormon do require you to pay 10k upon missionary service, hence why it sounds like you met a couple of Mormons and not JW's.

In regards to Jesus going to America after his death, that again is a Morom belief and not a JW one whatsoever.
“The New World Translation was produced by the New World Bible Translation Committee, formed in 1947. This committee is said to have comprised unnamed members of multinational background.[30] The committee requested that the Watch Tower Society not publish the names of its members,[31][32] stating that they did not want to "advertise themselves but let all the glory go to the Author of the Scriptures, God,"[33] adding that the translation, "should direct the reader... to... Jehovah God".[34] The publishers believe that "the particulars of [the New World Bible Translation Committee's members] university or other educational training are not the important thing" and that "the translation testifies to their qualification".[34]

Former high-ranking Watch Tower staff have identified various members of the translation team. Former governing body member Raymond Franz listed Nathan H. Knorr, Fredrick W. Franz, Albert D. Schroeder, George D. Gangas, and Milton G. Henschel as members of the translation team, adding that only Frederick Franz had sufficient knowledge in biblical languages.[35][36] Referring to the identified members, evangelical minister Walter Ralston Martin said, "The New World Bible translation committee had no known translators with recognized degrees in Greek or Hebrew exegesis or translation... None of these men had any university education except Franz, who left school after two years, never completing even an undergraduate degree." Franz had stated that he was familiar with not only Hebrew, but with Greek, Latin, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French for the purpose of biblical translation.”

Apparently Franz failed a basic test of Hebrew and Greek under oath as mentioned in prior post.
