We have about 60 more yrs, for the rapture to happen, which would keep it in the prediction of Jesus in Mt 24: 32-34 of the "last generation" after Israel is reestablished as a nation ,which happened in 1948. Soo, many thing could happen in 60 yrs. but with the near East such a hot spot , how much more trouble can Israel take before they destroy the arb nation around her.? , before Israel really blows up the Arab nations that have sworn to destroy Her, The rapture must be soon, in my humble opinion, OR wIII will broke out in the near East. and the Philippines is getting hot with China . in the China sea,the Philippine? whose ever,?? Where do you get another 60 years from? A generation is not 120 years. It has been 70 years since at least the time of David.

Psalm 90:10 The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off...

Israel became a state in 1948. Add 70 and we get to 2018. If the important date is Jerusalem then add 70 to 1967 and come to 2037. The Lord should return by 2018 or 2037 depending on which event is the trigger.

We know that the False Prophet comes before the Second Beast of Rev 13 and that the False Prophet reigns for 42 months.

[SUP]5 [/SUP]And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.

Plain word, you are reading into the words of Jesus your own thoughts. What exactly did Jesus say? "this gen.will not
PASS away". I ask you ? How LONG, does it take for a gen. to PASS AWAY"? AWS. 120 to 130 yrs. not 70. For EVERYONE of that gen. to DIE, it would Take more than 70 yrs, RIGHT? This is what Jesus said, exactly, to die, PASS AWAY. Love to all, Hoffco

No, read it again. Jesus said "this generation shall NOT pass away." This means the generation that witnessed Israel (or Jerusalem) come back into being will still be alive when all these things come to pass. Read it for yourself:
[SUP]

34 [/SUP]Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

"All these things" refers back to everything Jesus has foretold up to this point which includes the beginning of sorrows, the reign of AntiChrist AND His return. For the generation who was alive in 1948 (or 1967) to still be alive to witness Christ's return, the Tribulation and Second Coming must happen soon. I was born in 1963 so I should see ALL OF IT unless I meet an untimely death...

Your Rapture was far more real than the Rapture many on here believe in.

The Rapture is right up there with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Ever notice how Satan takes a legitimate Christian event like Christmas and Easter and contaminates it? This is to water down and have us lose the meaning and purpose of Christ's birth and His resurrection. The same thing is happening with His Second Coming. The sad thing is we were specifically warned NOT to be deceived by any teaching that has the Lord returning before the Man of Sin and yet we either don't read it, don't understand it, or chose to not believe it. SAD!!

The rapture could happen at any moment, All of the prophecy pertaining to the rapture has been fulfilled. Jesus said ( if you don't know the scripture, I will go get for you if need be) when you see the fig tree blossom look up for your redemption draweth nigh.

Israel became a nation in 1948 or you could argue 1968 as that is when the UN accepted them as a nation. Any how God has performed His word. That Israel would again be a nation, not by war but by the stroke of a pen. Not only is Israel blossoming, but is thriving in the presence of it's enemies. Fulfilling the prophecy given by David. Thy leadest me into green pastures and preparest a table in the midst of mine enemies. The 23 Pslam.

Israel is surrounded by countries that want to kill them. Yet they flourish. What was once desert is now fertile land, with forset and green grass. Their engineers are some of the most brilliant that has ever existed. I meant they created a bicycle that is made out of cardboard and can sell it for 20 bucks and make a profit . Their military special forces are the best in the world. Their CIA has knowledge that the white house would cringe for.

The fig has not only blossomed but is producing fruit. Look up people.
This fig tree?
Marl 11 [13] And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
[14] And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it

Hey Everyone,

I have recently been watching a lot of rapture movies

Left Behind, The Moment after, Blink of an Eye, 6 The mark of the beast.

Im just really curious about it whether or not the rapture even exists, or if it will happen before, during, or after the tribulation. Im also curious about how the bible says that theres a point where the the word of god will leave the earth.

Any clarifications or general opinions are greatly appriciated.
please, try to watch harpazo Rapturo on Youtube(real dreams/visions) I'm a pri-rap tri.... :)

Since the Rapture is not taught as a stand alone, coherent teaching in the Bible, be wary. We are clearly taught that there will be/are wolves in sheep's clothing and warned not to be deceived concerning the correct order of which Christ comes first.

Trust not in the traditions of man (including U-tube videos), but trust in the Word of God.

2Thess 2:3 is very clear, "Let no one deceive you...; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition ," vs. three, this man will sit in the Jewish temple and declare himself to be God. The tricky part is: there is 3 and a half yrs, between those two events. Because this "man of sin" the "peace maker" makes the peace treaty between the Jews and the Arabs for 7 yrs..(to buy time) But some thing happens and Satan enters the man and He goes crazy mad: Jesus comes,! and raptures His Church at the mid. point and blows the cover of the man of sin, then Satan goes crazy mad at Jesus, and declares Himself to be God. Love to all, Hoffco
You pre-trib-pre-mils love to leave this part of this passage out;

6And now you [1st century Christians, the direct audience of this book] know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He[d] who now restrains will do so until He[e] is taken out of the way.

Hi Guys.

No offence is meant by this post. It is purely a personal opinion.

I think the idea of a Rapture is an idealist fiction and that the world would be a better place if people realised how precious and fleeting their lives were, how many resources this planet can produce and how much life it can sustain, and finally that every day is more precious than the end of their lives. But I am a simple being. :p

The Rapture is clearly taught in the Bible. and is center stage in 2thess2 the church is remove from earth and the Man of sin becomes the antichrist and God allows the mystery of wickedness to fully develop on earth. Love Hoffco

The rapture started with Margaret Mac Donald in 1830. She was visited by an a spirit that she herself said was dark. This is where the whole rapture thing started. You will find a man named Irving involved as well as many others to conjure up this yarn about being sucked up off of the earth. Christ never said He would return and then return again.

That is a lie. Paul said we would see Him in the Clouds, and meet Him in the air. Paul also stated that running a foot race with so great a cloud of witnesses. Cloud=meaning so great in number. And that we will meet Him in the "air". That air is breathable atmosphere, not clouds. We will see Christ coming with hoardes of those who did not overcome, for the millennium, and we will see Him as He is, in Spirit as we will be when His feet touches the ground.

This statement is false!! 2 Thes 2 doesn't teach a rapture. Read it:

2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

[SUP]2 [/SUP]That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

[SUP]3 [/SUP]Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The subject matter is in the first verse - it is the COMING OF OUR LORD AND OUR GATHERING TO HIM. Reading on we get the timing. We see "THAT DAY WILL NOT COME UNTIL" the Man of Sin is revealed.

Paul warns us NOT TO BE DECEIVED BY ANY MEANS concerning the sequence of events. Beware of Wolves in Sheep's clothing brothers and sisters. Stay true to the Word!!

We are told over and over again to be patient. It's been 2,000 years. Is that what the repeated warning is about or is it about being patient and waiting for the real messiah? We are also promised tribulation in the name of the Lord. So why all of a sudden during the worst tribulation would God reverse 2,000 years of suffering by His Saints and Rapture all of us off to heaven allowing Satan free reign without the Salt and Light? Does God EVER teach this? Someone show me a passage where God reverses the promise that we will suffer for Christ in the last days. Can anyone find a verse that teaches this? It is the traditions of men that teach this. It is man's logic assuming that the Bride of Christ would never be subjected to suffering. Think again!!

Let's examine what we are told about patience and tribulation:

Luke 21:19

In your patience possess ye your souls.

Romans 5:3

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience.

Romans 5:4

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Romans 8:25

But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

2 Corinthians 6:4

But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

Colossians 1:11

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

1 Thessalonians 1:3

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

2 Thessalonians 1:4

So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

2 Timothy 3:10

But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience

Hebrews 6:12

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrews 10:36

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

James 1:3

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

James 5:7

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

James 5:10

Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

2 Peter 1:6

And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

Revelation 1:9

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3:10

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Revelation 13:10

He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Revelation 14:12

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

BE PATIENT AND FOLLOW CHRIST'S TEACHING. DO NOT GO OUT AFTER THE FIRST "CHRIST" TO APPEAR.
