The Rapture is clearly taught in the Bible. and is center stage in 2thess2 the church is remove from earth and the Man of sin becomes the antichrist and God allows the mystery of wickedness to fully develop on earth. Love Hoffco
This statement is false!! 2 Thes 2 doesn't teach a rapture. Read it:
2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
[SUP]2 [/SUP]That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
The subject matter is in the first verse - it is the
COMING OF OUR LORD AND OUR GATHERING TO HIM. Reading on we get the timing. We see "
THAT DAY WILL NOT COME UNTIL" the Man of Sin is revealed.
Paul warns us
NOT TO BE DECEIVED BY ANY MEANS concerning the sequence of events. Beware of Wolves in Sheep's clothing brothers and sisters. Stay true to the Word!!
We are told over and over again to be patient. It's been 2,000 years. Is that what the repeated warning is about or is it about being patient and waiting for the real messiah? We are also promised tribulation in the name of the Lord.
So why all of a sudden during the worst tribulation would God reverse 2,000 years of suffering by His Saints and Rapture all of us off to heaven allowing Satan free reign without the Salt and Light? Does God EVER teach this? Someone show me a passage where God reverses the promise that we will suffer for Christ in the last days. Can anyone find a verse that teaches this? It is the traditions of men that teach this. It is man's logic assuming that the Bride of Christ would never be subjected to suffering. Think again!!
Let's examine what we are told about patience and tribulation:
Luke 21:19
In your
