You need to prove the Charismatic gifts came in any other way besides the two outpourings or through an Apostle's hands.

You need to prove the Charismatic gifts came in any other way besides the two outpourings or through an Apostle's hands.
You need to read 1cor chapters 12 thru 14 . Which specifically States it is the Holy Spirit of distributes as HE sees best as

1cor 12:4, 11 states:

4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. NLT

11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
NO where does it say that this is only done by the Apostles hands
KJV.

Jesus Himself said no such thing. You must build on Christ's words as the foundation of the context. Paul said no such thing that "only by our hands". That is presupposition on your part and error.
You can not show contextually in the word of God Old and New Testament where only the Apostles would be the ones to control the empowering of the Holy Spirit. That is unbiblical.

Joel 2:28-29 says the Spirit of God will be poured out on all flesh.

Peter spoke on the Day of pentecost and quoted Joel. Thus confirming what it was that happened.

Peter said in Acts 2:16-18

16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
NKJV

Peter also says in verse :33
"the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear."
NKJV

The Holy Spirit poured out and guess what No one laid a hand on any of them.

In verse :39

Peter says:

For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

God has not stopped calling nor has the gift's of the Holy Spirit ceased.

In Acts 10:44 in the home of cornelius

there is no record of Peter laying his hands on them why? Because they were gentiles. Peter being a Jew would not lay his hands on them That is why the Holy Spirit came upon them(cornelius's house) without Peter having to lay his hands on them.
In chapter 11 Peter then explains the dream of the unclean and who they were. Notice Peter says in verse15 of chapter 11

"And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning." NKJV

what Beginning was Peter talking about? Acts chapter 2 the day of Pentecost where they had no hands laid on them.

Your idea that the Holy Spirit is controlled by the Apostles is misplaced and frankly unbiblical.

Now, you have been given yet again for the 100 times Biblical and scriptural answers to your question.

take it of leave it :) .

You are not considering the constraints in Acts that show how the Holy Spirit distributes the gifts only through an Apostle's hands. Why did Paul want to go to Rome to give the gifts if they could receive them apart from him? Use all the bible, not just the parts that fit your ideas.

There’s a doctrine going around called Cessationism which teaches dat spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues, prophecy and healing have ceased since pentecost. This is completely bogous and asinine and unbiblical, even I speak in tongues sometimes and after I was born again I started seeing visions which were prophetic and actually came true aswell.

just like the bible says in Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

the only thing dat has ceased is peoples faith in Gods power as the bible says in 2 timothy 3:5 they have a form of godlyness but they deny the power off.

Lets go 2 the scriptures where there were many miracles done with the power of the holy spirit and where the holy spirit was poured out onto people after pentecost.

Also just 2 mention a prophecy from david in pslams Acts 1:16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

Acts 5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Acts 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

Acts 9:40 peter raised a woman from the dead.

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

Acts 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

So u see hear folks, many works and miracles and out poring of the holy spirit after Pentecost in acts.

Don’t be fooled by these silly erroneous doctrines which go totally against the bible which are purposely made by the enemy 2 deceive you and turn u away from the truth and 2 destroy ur faith.

Take authority against the demons God has given it 2 his children and don’t be fearful, don’t be weary, Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

I don't see how 1 Corinthians 1:7 KJV does not put this entire debate to rest, right?

I harbor no anger toward any but I do find it terribly sad to witness the consequences of being bound to doctrine not found in scripture.

Actually your "cause" is to modify and reframe verses to fit your absurd reasoning and insisting Jesus and the Holy Spirit lost their ministry.
...which is totally debunked by belivers showing you your error.
You MUST IGNORE our verses.
In that dynamic you thrive in error.

You simply do not believe Gods word. You continue to demonstrate a level of immaturity that is painful to view.

Knowledge today is attained through study of the word of God. Knowledge is not miraculously bestowed on the sinner when they are converted.

“So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming [Revelation] of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 1:7–8 (KJV 1900)

Hi Phoneman. Consider that coming = Apocalypse = Revelation. Used by John in his book "Revelation of Jesus Christ".

Paul said this revelation would ALSO CONFIRM YOU UNTIL THE END. So it is as Revelation that will happen sometime before the end of the world. And it was Paul's present audience he was telling this too. = in their lifetime. + John's Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Scripture and history verify the gifts ceased in the Epistles when Paul no longer healed the sick. And where history has no eyewitness accounts of the gifts. Only hearsay from a couple crackpot cults claiming to have them.

Your lack of biblical discipleship is evident every time you post. You delight in biblical error and have no appetite for the truth.

Are you counting Cornelius and his companions as the second outpouring?

More ad hominem remarks instead of a sound refutation. Eventually you have to deal with the truth. Insulting those who tell you will eventually get boring, even for you.

Acts 2:17 certainly does yeah!! that's why there's Christians like myself speaking in tongues 2day! plus deliverance ministry, plus people being touched and healed by the holy ghost etc.

the problem is most so called Christians 2day are part timers!! they don't truly believe what their preaching about, they have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof 2 tim 3:5

there's that parrot again

always saying the same things

no one said anything about anything being 'bestowed' at the moment of salvation...that is just one of many red herrings you have sprinkled throughout your posts. salvation is bestowed at the moment of salvation

most of what you say others have said is total fabrication...but since you fabricate what the Bible states, why would any of us be immune?

but you cannot have it both ways. either knowledge has vanished or it has not. don't tell us you get from scripture because you tell us that is where you learned that knowledge does no longer exist

quite the quandary you have manufactured

again and again you cessationists are caught up in your own words but you just keep going like a donkey with blinders on

Uh huh.

Where in 1 Corinthians is this so explained (and restricted)?

It is Paul's opinion if it is an opinion at all. But some know it is inspired scripture telling everyone there are no promises outside of Christ. This includes the land promises too.
For whom then are the land promises?

You dodged the question. Where in 1 Corinthians is the gift of knowledge described as or restricted to the knowledge "to refute the religious leaders and preach the truth of Christ"?

Nowhere in 1 Corinthians is the gift of knowledge defined as the gift of "all" knowledge (13:2 notwithstanding). If you are taught an aspect of organic chemistry (for example), you have received "knowledge" but not "all knowledge".
