you think God is unfaithful to His promises? then yeah i guess if you do not believe Him you'd think there is no salvation. and there wouldn't be for you, because you had no faith.

would you like to see a list of 100 verses describing salvation in present tense, lol. would it matter to you to see it.
I think his true gospel has exposed itself

That would be in Romans to Philemon.

Yes, the wonderful good news for all of us gentiles now is that we can have salvation NOW, the moment we believed in 1 Cor 15:1-4.

That is precisely my point, that is why we gentiles must really thank God for this wonderful mystery he revealed to us, the dispensation of grace, as Paul explained in Ephesians 3 ;)

when God speaks of what He will do does He say "maybe" ?

no -- as the prophets said, He speaks of that which is not as though it already is.
let it be according to your faith.
As I said, Peter meant what he said and say what he meant in Acts 3:19-21. And he was speaking under the Holy Spirit to the nation Israel.

When you read and understand his words literally, instead of trying to anticipate the revelation that Paul would reveal later on, you will appreciate the meaning much clearer. :)

I see what you’re saying but not 100% convinced yet. I need to research it more. Thanks for pointing that out.
Like this pal,

By faith he lived as a foreigner in the promised land as though it were a foreign country, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, Heb.11:9

We do the same thing in this world.

reform ye, therefore, and turn back, for your sins being blotted out
(Acts 3:19)
which part of this says "possibly maybe one day salvation much later in the far future" ?

was that lame man Acts 3:1-10 healed that very moment or did Peter say 'rise up and walk - not now of course - but i dunno maybe 3,000 years from now maybe? depends on what the Phraisees decide' ??

bro he was healed immediately, just as Christ immediately took Peter's own hand when he saw the waves and the storm and began to sink in the sea. God is not relegated to this dissolving world of the flesh, but if He completely restores a leper in the blink of an eye just because the man believes, why would you for one second doubt what He has promised to do is as good as done?

still not seeing how you think this is explaining why you think the Ninevites that believed God believed in vain.

if you ever turn and believe Christ's own emphatic statement that all the law and the prophets testify of Him - and believe all His apostles who preached Him from the same scriptures - maybe you'll start to recognize something, yourself.

which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began
(Acts 3:21)
how do you appeal to Peter and not even believe what Peter says?

Which translation you are using there? Whenever you want to use scripture for doctrine discussion, use the KJV

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

As for the lame man, Peter, or rather the Holy spirit, performed that sign, specifically for the nation Israel. Israel as a nation has been lame from birth and rejected the covenant, and they just killed the Messiah.

But if they were to repent for all those sins, they can look forward to entering the promised kingdom when Jesus returns for them in the 2nd coming, jumping and with great joy.

A beautiful sign for the nation Israel and fits well with what Peter preached to Israel in Acts 3:19-21, if you asked me.

It has nothing to do with faith
It has every to do with faith,

They answered him, "Abraham is our father!" Jesus replied, "If you are Abraham's children, you would be doing the deeds of Abraham. Jn.8:39
(That is, living by faith in Christ).

if the promise aged made had to do with only the saved, the all people born of abraham automatically are saved
All people born of Abraham by faith in Jesus are saved.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise Gal.3:29

you can’t have it both ways
Im not the one who wants it both ways. You want the promises God made to apply to the Jews apart from faith in Jesus. Don't work that way,

Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. Gal.3:7

Ignore, sidestep, divert, whatever.

Only thing I’m having issue with is that if Canaan was the land promised to Abraham and Abraham never inherited it, then we have a problem.

No problem at all, God himself told Abraham in Gen 15, and also told him about the time of slavery the nation must undergo first.

13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

Peter is addressing the nation of Israel with truth for them (Acts 3:12).

Paul is my apostle in the Body of Christ with truth for me (Romans 11:13).

Paul instructs all of us to study the scripture, and rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). ;)

If I promise to give a gift and I never give you that gift, no matter what the reason, then I didn’t t fulfill my promise to you.

That is why Hebrews 11 recognized the faith of Abraham when it stated

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

When Jesus returns for Israel in the 2nd coming, all these OT saints, including Abraham, will be resurrected and live permanently in the millennial kingdom on Earth.

The 12 of course will be on 12 thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel then.

So yes, it will be fulfilled in the future.

Abraham isn’t coming back from heaven to live in Canaan.

If God promised Abraham the land of Canaan and Abraham never inherited the land of Canaan then God didn’t follow through on his problem..
We need to understand that the promise is to the whole body of Christ and his body isn't complete yet,

they did not receive what was promised.... they would be made perfect together with us. Heb.11:39-40

Like the Temple of God in Ehp.2, it isn't finished yet.

I agree and that means that the land of the Jews isn’t the promised land. I also stand by my original thought which was that Abraham never set foot in the promised land because the promised land Abraham was looking for contained the city who’s builder and maker was God, that city is heavenly Jerusalem.
