7 days in Creation, on the 7th day God rested

You can claim 8th?

It can be 9th, 10th, or whatever?

7 literal days of Creation, there is no 8th day.
Do you believe there will be an eternal Day that has no night? That doesn't need sun or moon because the Lord is it's light? If so which day of the week is that day?

You don't understand how the pagan nations were converted. Pagan religions are founded on myth particular to each. Pagan myth in various degree have a measure of truth. Such is what Paul did in Greece.
The measure of truth in myth can point at the truth of Christ. So those truths already held by pagans is pointed at it's true object, Jesus Christ.

So it's not pagan concepts corrupting the truth of Christ, it's Christian concepts replacing pagan concepts. Pagan symbols become Christian symbols and like Easter no longer means what it did to pagans in the past, now it means the ressurection of Our Lord.
There is absolutely no biblical instruction to observe (Easter) the resurrection or (Christmas) the supposed birth of Jesus Christ?

Easter is the fertility rites of the pagans, as Easter bunnies and eggs are brought into many buildings called churches

(Christmas) is the pagan winter solstice and the rebirth of the (Sun God)

Christian's are to follow only one thing to remember the Lord Jesus Christ

(Do This In Remembrance If Me)

Luke 22:19KJV
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

You say Sabbath keeping should be looked at the same way scripture sees the burnt offering. That is not based on any scripture, and it is contrary to scripture we are given.
I said burnt offerings went along with sabbath keeping (Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3; Numbers 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13) along with no kindling a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath (Exodus 35:3). Every man must remain in his place on the sabbath. (Exodus 16:29) No trading. (Amos 8:5) No marketing. (Nehemiah 10:31; 13:15,19) This was commanded by God to Israel under the Old Covenant. (Exodus 35:1) Are you a Jew under the Old Covenant?

We are to look at the burnt offering as a way of explaining Christ, part of the sacrificial system. It was a picture of what Christ did, and we are told that blood sacrificed was the blood of Christ. If we use the blood of animals or burnt offerings now it is denying Christ.
Sabbath keeping was a mere shadow of what is to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. Colossians 2:16 Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day— 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.

The blessing God gave the last day of the week was done at creation. To change it would be to change creation.
Nobody is changing that and although God's rest on the seventh day (Genesis 2:3) did foreshadow a future Sabbath law, there is no Biblical record of Sabbath keeping before the children of Israel left the land of Egypt.

*Nowhere in Scripture is there any hint that Sabbath keeping was practiced from Adam to Moses.*

The word "Sabbath" first appears in Exodus 16:23 - Then he said to them, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning. Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations, was part of a covenant with Israel (Exodus 16:23, 29; 31:12-18; 35:1-3; Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3, 32; Numbers 15:32-36; 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13; Amos 8:5; Nehemiah 10:31) that is not binding on The Church/Christians in the New Testament. (Colossians 2:16-17)

i don't understand; how does it make sense to fast twice on a single certain day?
skip lunch and dinner, only have breakfast? that doesn't make it a fast day lol many days i only eat one meal, but it's not fasting.
Three festive meals was the standard and tithing was on the same day .not two unknown days The twice a week destroys the doctrine . The words are not twice a week . The word week was not even used when the gospel was inspired But on the sabbath one day he bragged he ate two meals prepared the day before. . The word week was added to try a preserve those who make the ceremony into a works righteous as some sort of self-edifying sign : (I did it)

Man does not live on bread alone. The "true fast" is not dietary instruction. . Watch those calories ? Or the idea there is some sort of spiritual advantage in not eating. Starving is not a advantage but just the opposite eating is.

There is nothing that would indicate only one meal on the sabbath. Fasting is much more than restricting food intake. Not eating something does not cast out lying spirits . (Just less trips to the latrine.)

A person must begin with the foundation. (Exodus 16) It begins with men murmuring desiring to go back in bondage working 7 days a week and eating the food they were familiar with.

God set up the fast to help men recognize first and foremost the daily sabbath (today) we experience when we do hear his voice and harden not our heart .This show us it is God working in us to both will and empower us to do the God works he prepares for us.

One day of the week a rest by which we can offer the gospel to a neighbor .(prayer, the will and fasting, eating shares our goods with others ) Its the kind of food the disciples knew not of . . . called manna .(What is it) The bread or will of unfamiliarity .It prevents luke-warmness .

Numbers 15:33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.

Its why the person was stoned. He violated the instruction of baking the manna on the previous day, to be shared the following the day set aside when the gospel could do its work.

Jumbled thoughts.

Lessons in English language would teach you how to arrange your thoughts in print so that they make sense to others. There is evidence of some sort of reasoning process in your post, but the actual connections between thoughts are nowhere near clear to anyone but you.

Could be only I understand ? I don't know the thoughts of the rest of the world .Maybe you should ask questions? That could be helpful for a good teacher.

Perhaps you can make it clearer? Did he fast twice a week (which days) and tithe twice or was he bragging he only ate two of three allotted meals.? And why was the man stoned for picking up sticks. Was he supposed to be a statue and not move? Or was he attempting to bake the manna which was to be done the day before and he violated the ceremonial law ?

Jesus was gently saying in Matthew 12 that there is no time for the Holy Sabbath. How would we honor our Father if we walk by suffering and don’t show grace? And how can a christian say on the Sabbath “nah not today.” I think for me it is more important to fast on things.

Show me a scripture that says go to church on Sabbath, all I read is rest, and a day of rest. Most festivals start on the day after the Sabbath.
I know this is about Sabbath day worship, but I see through out the new testament that they gathered on the first day of the week.
I personally feel like the works based salvation position is violation of the Sabbath. Because Jesus' grace is our Sabbath.

Its the result of those that think fasting (self edifying) has to do not eating as a way of being heard on high and not the true fast . The gospel seeking the desire of God not seen. . planting the incorruptible seed by which men are born again .

Fasting is a little more then not eating. It is what you are eating, but mainly putting everything off so ye shall only receive Him. That’s shutting down impulses like love making, internet, tv, ... You are careful with what to read, what to listen in music, ...

Sabbath is like one day and most christians I’ve seen go to church, get out, go to work, live their wordly lives until the Sabbath is back. Imho and for me personally it seems best to shut it all down for a while and reconnect with the Holy Spirit by disconnecting with the world. By that you make room for Him. Which is fasting.

The true fast "others first"

He gave us his first born so we can fast, rest in him and be heard on high.
It as a commentary is found in as a parable. Isaiah 58

Note. . Green . . . gospel metaphors used in the parable .

Isaiah 58 King James Version (KJV) Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God. Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours. Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high. Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the Lord?
Is not this the fast that I have chosen?
to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

They were wrestling against flesh and blood placing their own selves in danger of devouring each other .(who is the greatest?) Comparing one self to themselves.

The true fast takes hearing (praying) the will and doing it (fasting) .Spread the gospel to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, if they are hungry share the manna with them. If they need clothing bring blankets. Don.t hold a grudge against your own family member .

The "praying and working fast" No prayer, no works. No works no prayer

All one and the same thing

Matthew 17:20-22 King James Version (KJV) And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

That is not what scripture tells us. It tells us you can't change pagan ways to christianizr them.

An example is when followers of the Lord sacrificed animals as God commanded, but did it to feed the Lord rather than to save them from sin. In Isaiah, the first chapter, it tells us God hated the blood of animals. Passover is Passover, you cannot change it into Easter. God finished his creation of us and the earth on the last day of the week so it is the Sabbath for us, you cannot change it into the first day of the week.

The Apostle Paul didn't get the memo. He Christianized the Unknown God of Greek myth.

Easter was changed not Passover. Christians were no longer welcome in the synagogues. Sabbath was intimately bound to the synagogue. They gathered on the 1st day of the week as well. The Holy Spirit showed them what day to rest by a process of elimination.

The Holy Spirit is God, it cannot guide to anything that is not in complete agreement with what God tells us. So it could not be that the Holy Spirit was the guide to anything but the last day of the week.

Christians have to accept using this day as the Sabbath because the church Christ loves tells us my way or the highway, and we cannot turn our back on the church, but we can know the truth. Same with Easter celebration instead of Passover as God told us.

The Holy Spirit is God, it ...
Are you seeing the problem that I'm seeing?

The Holy Spirit is indeed God. God is not an "it". Please read John 16:12-15.

Attending a local Christian fellowship on any day of the week does not hinder your celebration of the Sabbath, if that's what you want to do.

Scripture makes it clear that Christians do not have to keep the Sabbath.

Colossians 2:16
"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of
an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:"
Hmm, have you considered the entire context?

Others should come first anytime, not just while fasting...
You can’t speak off it while doing it but you can speak of it in general. You can also recommend to give to the poor, but you can’t brag how much you’ve given yourself. There’s a difference I believe.

I was also speaking personally, that fasting brings me closser to God the Sabbath. Not to be blasphemous or Anything. I believe the Sabbath is holy, but most European christians I know just go to church and that is that. Me personally needed a closer connection.

Your dissecting all posts for exact wording instead of what the poster means helps with clear thinking, but it also gets awfully old.

It is true, an individual honoring the Sabbath is up to the individual but part of that celebration of the Sabbath, if that individual had a choice, would be attending church service that honors that Sabbath. People who choose this way as following scripture are denied that choice if they stay true to most churches.

You are not "denied" a choice that you make. If you choose to "stay true" (whatever that means) to your local church then you are the one making the choice. If you choose a church that meets on Sunday, the responsibility (or blame) is on you, not anyone else.

It appears to me that you are casting blame across a large sector of people instead of putting it where it belongs.
