It seems what I have difficulty grasping from what you say is the idea that having to do anything such as accepting
regarding God's gift, His grace, and gift of grace and faith somehow nullifies it as a gift, as grace, and counts as a work.
Well, if you have to accept it to have it then can't be a gift - it is a quid pro quo - with acceptance as your part of the transaction.
Since we're recapping, first, I do not think that our faith is what brings us salvation. Second, how would
you interpret this verse that says true faith comes by the Holy Spirit, considering that true faith is by the Holy Spirit who only indwells those who become born-again.
