Baptism is required. If one has faith then they will follow God's commandments and be born again. That is accomplished by repentance, baptism and living a righteous life.
Yes, Baptism is required . . . Baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is Circumcision of the Heart . . . a Work performed by Christ, not by any human.
Colossians 2:11 KJV - "In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh
by the circumcision of Christ"
And where does Faith come from? God Himself . . .
Romans 12:3, 6 NLT - "Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don't think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves
by the faith God has given us."
And Repentance? How it this established? By God Himself . . .
Acts 11:18 CSB - "When they heard this they became silent. And they glorified God, saying, "So then,
God has given repentance resulting in life even to the Gentiles."
And Righteousness? Where does this come from? By God Himself . . .
Psalm 24:5 KJV - "He shall receive the blessing from the LORD,
and righteousness from the God of his salvation."
True Baptism is Circumcision performed by God (Deut 30:6), the Holy Spirit (Rom 2:29), and Christ (Col 2:11) = One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism
This world is corrupt, including H20 . . . thus mere physical, corrupt water cannot Produce Purity . . . only the One True God is capable of doing that. For anyone to suggest that something from this corrupt, physical world can save . . . completely defies the entire, whole, complete point of the Bible . . . the [entire] Bible (and not just an itty bitty piece of it like Acts 2:38).
