Jesus specifically says to them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
OK. Jesus could say He never know them, not based on what they did but what they DIDN'T do, which is to believe in Him.

Jesus also described all their "good works" as iniquity because they did it all from their flesh, not the Spirit.

Are you familiar with Isa 64:6 - All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.

The Hebrew for "filthy rags" ls literally menstrual rags. That's what God thinks of human good and good deeds from the flesh.

It's just an attempt to please God, but since His Son died for all sins on the cross, whatever man does from his own flesh is OFFENSIV E to God. Very offensive.

That is why Jesu will call their deeds "iniquity".

I do repeatedly reject your ideas, opinions, assumptions, presumptions and speculations.
And therefore you reject "pure doctrine".
"therefore"??? There is no connection between your ideas opinions, assuptions, presumptios and speculations with "pure doctine".

Pure doctine comes straight from the Bible. I've shown that all your stuff isn't found there.

I will bring it back to the reality that there is a conditional promise given in Acts 2:38-39, to as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Compare Romans 8:30.
You really need to GIVE UP on your Acts 2:38 mantra.

Acts 10-11 PROVES that the pattern of receivng the Holy Spirit is by faith. Period.

Let it go. You HAVE BEEN refuted. Accept the truth and reject the false doctrine you have been pushing.

I have read your posts. No refutation of what was said, that I was able to see.
This statement ABSOLUTELY PROVES that your eyes are closed. And tightly too.

Your mantra about Acts 2:38 is soundly refuted by the story of Cornelius in Acts 10 and 11.

Gen 6:5, And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Gen 6:6, And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Gen 6:11, The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
Gen 6:12, And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Gen 6:13, And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

You think that Noah was not in danger from those who were violent on the earth?

Think again.
Thanks for refuting yourself again. Gen 6:13 proves what I said. God judged the earth for their sin. Not because anyone was threatening Noah. They were just laughin at him.

When are you going to learn?

I am of the kjv-superior position; which means that I believe that the kjv trumps every other version any time there is a controversy over the meaning of holy scripture.
Well, that's just sad. You have NO evidence for lifiing one version above others.

The fact is; the kjVERSION is just that. A version. Nothing better than that.

My main issue with that version is that it was translated from manuscripts dated to the 10th century. Do you know what that means? It means between the original signature to the 10th century, there were many many scribes hand copying. And since there have been many manuscripts found much EARLIER than the 10th century ones, like all the way back to the 2nd century, they are MUCH MORE ACCURATE.

For example, Mark 16:9-20 isn't found in ANY of the earlier manuscripts. Either is John 8:1-11. FYI

And with biblehub.com we can compare 28 translations to get a sense of what the Greek says. And, we can read the interliniear and see the actual Greek with the word defined (like a dictionary).

But you are free to use whatever you want.

Just know that the ONY manuscript that was INSPIRED by the Holy Spirit is the original autograph.

No copies are inspired by the Spirit. I'm sure many scribes perspired over the copies. But NO inspiration.

... I only believe scripture taught by the Holy Spirit!
Do you not realize that Peter's teaching of the necessity to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin came directly from the Holy Ghost/Spirit?

Yeah, you don't have the scriptural evidence to back your claim.
Now, that's real funny. Said the man who has zero evidence for your claims..

I've proven your claims are unbiblical from very clearly stated verses. But with your eyes closed, of course you can then claim that you haven't seen any.

Slick.

Positional sanctification is none other than justification; and that is what it is always called in holy scripture.
You seem to be simply unaware of the fact that the Bible actually uses the word "sanctification" for spiritual growth.

Rom 6:22 - But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life

The red words show that Paul was referring to his audience's saved state.
The blue words show that production of fruit comes from experiential sanctification. iow, as one produces fruit, they are growing up spiritually.

I think it is a travesty that certain people take verses on sanctification and make them mean justification.
Study Rom 6:22 until it sinks in.

You use it well...so what is wrong with it?
In the whole Bible don't you know the three things we must know and ...only? Apparently not. So allow me to enlighten you;

1 Repentance
2Baptism
3 Live a righteous life according to God's commandments.
These are the "3 things we must know"??? That's it?

How does one get saved based on these 3 things? There is NO WAY anyone could be saved based on this list.

Just study Paul's answer to the jailer's question about what he MUST DO to be saved. Acts 16:31

Or is it just that you want to use and follow a new age religion bible which is not accurate and does not represent God's word?
Calling any version of the Bible a "new age religion Bible" is childish.

You should go to biblehub.com type in any verse. Then scroll down the page to see 28 translations. See how many are totally different from others.

As with any translation, there will be some slight diffeences.

But i dare you to find any differences that would lead to blatant false doctrines.

Unbelievable!! She quoted Eph 2;8 DIRECTLY.

Why can't the Bible be understood as written?
Well, that is certainly a question for YOU. Wny can't you read and understand the words of Epoh 2:8?

Some have a problem...because it does not fit their narrative wishes.
OK, this certainly does answer why you seem to NOT understand Eph 2:8.

Thanks for the clarification.

There are attempts to teach narratives to scripture which is just wrong. You should see that.

Be tolerant.....The need to focus on new age religion's intrusion upon God'word grows daily. join the crusade to maintain relevancy of the Bible to complete Christian living.

But, If need be...don't read it. Then you can deal with God.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm not afraid to deal with God!
He is my Lord and Master, how about you deal!

some folks here do not seem to understand the word 'hermeneutics'

let's reference I Peter 3:20-21 in the NIV and the Berean translation. the KJ is not perfect and is not inspired and actually has numerous erroneous translations in it but if you are stuck on that particular translation, it still does not create the understanding that the waters of the flood saved people.

"and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also--not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ"- NIV
"And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ"- BSB

now let's try, really try, to retain what those verses say ... WATER SYMBOLIZES BAPTISM IN WATER ...

now, let's use the brains God gave us and pay attention to the fact that the waters of the flood wiped out all life on earth

the people in the ark that God told Noah to build, floated above the water that was drowning all that were outside the ark, and Noah and his family were prevented from drowning

the only sense in which water saved people, was by keeping the ark floating above the terror happening below it

it is utter ignorance and a stubborn and self righteous refusal to see this, that apparently keeps some in certain sects and even cults, from acknowledging the fact that the water killed and the ark saved. this is not complicated and is simple and easy to understand

what is not easy to understand, is how people shut their minds off and blabber nonsense and continue to spout the obvious silliness that water saved Noah and his family

the only way it makes any sense whatsoever, is to realize that these same folks believe that water washes sin away and so they mistakenly tie in a couple of verses to their cultish beliefs and believe they have a magical understanding that most sensible people do not have and will never have, because it is sheer nonsense

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.5For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. Romans 6:4

it comes directly from you

we are saved thorough the shed blood of Christ on the cross

faith in HIS completed work is salvation

your continued nonsense narrative is .... nonsense
