Speaking of the old testament and of the Hebrews, they are an example who did not rejoice correctly, they were all left in the wilderness. Could not endure what was commanded, so we fear God greatly, because He is a consuming fire. Tithing is not enough, the new testament excels the old one, does not give less if it so chooses, it gives the same as Christ, it gives its entire life, and, many give nothing, but they also have nothing to say..

Hebrews 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
The jews did not enter because of unbelief, not because they did not do enough! Sheesh

They could not endure what was commanded, too terrible and fearful, and now, the Heavenly Jerusalem, to the spirits of just men made perfect, and here is the example again, of not enduring what was commanded to inherit that eternal life by Christs own mouth, it is faith to believe what He says, it is not faith to say you believe Him and do nothing..

Hebrews 12:18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

I hope you noticed it all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, they could not endure what was commanded, Christ gave commandment to the young man to sell and give all, he could not endure and went away very sorrowful, and as told there by Christ, that was what it meant to be the spirit of a just man made perfect, as he said, if thou wilt be perfect...

You do realize that OT tithing was fundamentally an income tax? There was no secular government. The priests functioned as governors, judges, medical staff and a charity. The tithes supported all that, just as modern income taxes do.

Tithing has nothing to do with voluntary giving. The two are not synonymous. Tithing is of the OT Law and is not required of Christians.
Tithing definitely wasn't an income tax. More like a capital gains tax.

It's not just tithes, we learned about giving our tithes and offerings. Tithing is just a guideline as a minimum, we should give more than just 10%
Tithing was a law in OT, Not a law in NT. There isn't Tithing law in NT.

For all the non tithing rich men,
Tithing is not required of Christians, it was OT law. What is required of the lukewarm Christians is to do much less.
It is plain that you are not paying attention nor trying to understand. You have made your straw-man and you are blindly shooting arrows at it.

Quote me where I have said that I give nothing. Quote me where I have advocated giving nothing.

When you realize that you are completely unable to do either, because I have not made such statements, perhaps you will pause in your tirades to consider what I am actually saying, which is...

Tithing and giving are not synonymous. Tithing has absolutely nothing to do with giving. Giving to your local church is not tithing. Giving ten percent of your gross income to your local church is not tithing. Giving such and claiming that you are tithing is either poor word usage, or poor hermeneutics, or both. Doing so under any sense of obligation to OT law has nothing to do with the gospel.

Tithing is a practice specified for Israel in the Old Testament, the Law of Moses, as one-tenth of agricultural crops, and every tenth animal that passes under the rod. These things are to be brought to the Levites at the tabernacle or temple. Christians are not under the Law and are not required to tithe.

What is required of Christians with regard to giving? That is clearly stated in the New Testament. "Tithing" is not part of it.

Yep, tithing is like income tax, Israel was a country, like united state, it has a tax law. Like united state has federal tax law.

Tithing, circumcision, cleanliness, all of Gods laws and righteous judgements continue forever, if you missed that, sorry for you.

Here are commandments, not choices, about giving of your wealth, which is tithing, this is including all context, of not being necessary, but it becomes something God finds necessary when He illuminates your heart and then you take joyfully the spoiling of your good, as there is better reward in Heaven..

Proverbs 11:25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

Isaiah 32:8 The liberal deviseth liberal things, and by liberal things he shall stand

Proverbs 11:24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

Proverbs 11:26 He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.

Proverbs 3:27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

Ecclesiastes 11:11 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.

Proverbs 22:9 He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.

Isaiah 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.
9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 He that soweth sparingly shall
also reap sparingly, and he which soweth bountifully shall
reap bountifully.Every man according as he purposeth in his
heart,so let him give, not grudgingly or of necessity:for God
loveth a cheerful giver. And god is able to make all grace
abound to you,that ye,always having
all sufficiency in all
things, may abound to every good work:as written,he hath
dispersed abroad,he hath given to the poor:his righteousness
remaineth forever,

Hebrews 10:32-34 When illuminated you endured a great
fight of affliction, and took joyfully the spoiling of your
goods as there is better reward in heaven

Tithing, animal sacrifice, circumcision are God law for Israel before Cross.

Now we not do animal sacrifice anymore nor tithing, because we aren't under the law

Romans 6:14
“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

"Quote me where I have said that I give nothing. Quote me where I have advocated giving nothing."

You are quoted. Trying to make the commandment of God of no effect by your own tradition, is advocating giving nothing. The testimony of what the Pharisees did, was not just for them, it is for all others who attempt to turn the grace of Christ into lasciviousness, as predicted, and as fulfilled. God said give tithes, not Israel, the scriptures are the word of God only. Gods law are all fulfilled in the heart, nor one jot or tittle was taken away. People, named Christians these days, continue to worship in vain anyway, through tradition of men, rather than the commandments and the law of Christ. Some obey like Apostle Paul, who as testified, suffered the loss of ALL things, because tithing and all laws not taken away, it is as also testified, He magnified the law, increased it and made it honourable, no matter what dishonourable opinions you attempt to giver, they will remain as nothing too..

Matthew 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

We are circumcised in the heart. Romans 2:29

Sacrifice for sins is remembering the sacrifice for our sins, by the Lamb.

Tithing is no longer a small token, it is to forsake all things. Mark 10:18-30 Luke 14:16-33

1 Corinthians 11:4 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Yes we are not under the law to Isrsel, but we are not without law, we are as told, under the law to Christ, and obey all of His commandments in His law, which are the law magnified, all as told

1 Corinthians 9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

They could not endure what was commanded, too terrible and fearful
absolut applesauce.

All the people perceived the thunder and the lightning flashes and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance. Then they said to Moses, “Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but let not God speak to us, or we will die.”
(Exodus 20:18-19)

they trembled with terror and fear at the speaking of God with smoke and lightning and trumpet blast, not at the commandments.
they asked for an intermediary to continue giving them the commands of God.

You need to stop looking at hor righteous you THINK YOU ARE and start looking at what the word says man.

The jews from the moment they left Egypt complained and complained and complained. They complained at the red sea, they complained at the rock, they complained when moses was on the mount, and then built idols. They complained about the manna, they complained when they got there that the people were to big, and lacked faith God could give them what he promised. So they endured walking in the wilderness for 40 years. and only 2 entered in, Because they lacked faith in God. As the word said, they did not enter, because of unbelief.

Maybe you will listen to the word?

Heb 3:
16 For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses? 17 Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

All their sins and rebellion was based on lack of faith, Not that it was too hard. where do you come up with this stuff?? If you do not trust someone, YOUR NOT GOING TO REST IN THEM AND DO WHAT THEY SAY!

The scribes payed tithes
You give a tenth of your spices -- mint, dill and cumin.
(Matthew 23:23)

if you feel compelled to "tithe" then bring a tenth of the firstfruits of the produce of your herb garden this week to church.
put your herbs in the offering plate, earmarked for Levite use only.

elsewise you are not tithing Biblically.

if you would redeem your herbs and pay with money instead, you must have a Levite priest evaluate the value of your herbs and add 20% of the value according to the temple shekel -- that makes it 12% not 10%
the Law requires an additional fifth be paid in penalty for substituting cash for produce; see Leviticus 27.

if you think you're paying tithe, better do it right according to the Law.
don't fiddle around pretending you're keeping it and not actually obeying the letter, because if you make yourself under the Law, calling Christ's sacrifice meaningless, then you are obligated to keep all the Law. God ain't keen on hypocrisy.

9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

Hebrews 10:32-34 When illuminated you endured a great
fight of affliction, and took joyfully the spoiling of your
goods as there is better reward in heaven
oh so now you say we must be circumcised?

I guess you have never read the NT,

Gal 5:
5 Stand[a] fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. 2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is [b]a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

The new covenant of God, is not to be lesser than the old testament, it is that same covenant, but written in the heart. All is not decreased or become obselete, all has increased and fulfilled. Now the just men are made perfect. Now all has become honourable. Now we no longer fall short, we are now justified through Christs Spirit. Our righteousness is not to be less than those of the old covenant, it is to exceed.

Hebrews 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Isaiah 42:21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

There is not no more law abiding. The old law was in the letter, not in the heart, now it is the law of faith. Without the deeds of that law of the letter. This hpowever does not make the law void, as all wish, it establishes the law. Death has no more dominion over is, which is sin. We have to be dead to sin, we cease to obey the old master sin, we serve the real master of righteousness, obedience,. not nothing of law, it is all commandment, because it is a law, and being free from sij, evidences you obey the law in the spirit serving righteousness.

Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Romans 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

So we do not walk after the flesh, that LAW of the Spirit of life in Christ makes us free from the unfruitful law of sin and death, that law which was the first covenant and could not be obeyed until written in the heart, and now, the righteousness of the LAW, is FULFILLED in us, if we walk in and have that Spirit of Christ through belief in Him...

Romans 8:8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
