The bush was not consumed by God .. it was inhabited by God and was not consumed but was made a new creation called a "burning bush"

Thats right, You know it all..

If it were not for someone getting into my face, and continually questioning my beliefs, I would still be in trouble.

But hey, If your God and KNOWS how everyone works.. Then why are you even here? You know everything..
Ummm, because he's God and is omnipresent?

Your words here truly brought the subject of this thread to life ...

A fine example of a personal attack, unabashed, unashamed denigration!

I'm not disagreeing with what I just said ... but thinking now that I should have just kept that to myself.

Let's just all try to be nicer!!!! That's what this thread is all about.

That's what I was saying earlier ... our personal integrity in Christ should remain unaffected by outside influence.

Whether someone treats us good or badly we should bear the same fruits - the good fruits of the Holy Spirit.

There is a vast difference between calling someone personally a name...then to just call out in a general sense a certain "type" of person...like a Pharisee, judaizer.....etc..

....if people are offended when a general type is exposed for what they are doing - then maybe when these types of people are being exposed - they are resembling the ones that are being offended....but there is no personal attack on the person themselves...the truth is just bearing witness against them and thus they attack the person talking about the "types" of people.....it's the nature of the beast......selah
Some people are honest and direct.

Some people are deceitful/dishonest/cowardly and hide behind generalities to make their swipes.

I forgive everyone. I am not going to sit here and be told I am something I am not though.

There happens to be a thing called integrity, and truthfulness also.

Here you are screaming and judging me, And yet she is th eone who did the attacking.

Where is the integrity?

Yep. the truth means nothing.

Ever read how john the baptist and jesus handed the pharisees? Jesus had some prety choice words, So did the baptist. Paul was not to quiet or "nicey nice" Himself

"I am not going to sit here and be told I am something I am not though."-EG

Why not? We don't have to rise to every slap - we can turn the cheek from time to time

"There happens to be a thing called integrity, and truthfulness also."-EG

Is there really? And I was unaware of it all this time, thanks for bringing this to my attention! :D

"Here you are screaming and judging me, And yet she is th eone who did the attacking."-EG

I was not screaming ........ THIS IS SCREAMING :D

I was not judging you ... I was simply pointing out that your choice of words was retalliatory, and condescending rather than loving.

"Where is the integrity?" - EG

The integrity, I firmly believe, is found in following Christs advice.

...I can see that too..maybe he was attacked in a wrong way and it grieved him..that happens on here...
Yes indeed I've been there done that and I'm back now my second time here because I like the people here no matter who or how they act, some that I've had heated debates or was told I'm wrong or cursed at or whatever, I still like them no matter what I've never hated anybody in my life I've been upset disappointed discouraged etc..but I have never hated. In saying that I'm not saying at all that the OP hates in any shape or form but yes he could be like us all discouraged disappointed upset from time to time. I came back also because I realized it was me that couldn't handle being told I was doing it wrong etc probably because I lived in a world I built around my ideas when in reality it's a two way street if I'm going to tell someone that's not right i have to except someone telling me I'm not doing it right and heed to it. I've had a few jump on me here I may have disagreed and I've responded harshly but I can say today I respect that of others because its gets me thinking and looking at myself for ways to improve my commucations/relations with people and knowledge of God. so i think it does have value And I hope the thread wasn't a departure statement.. so much can be learned with statements like these posted from everyone. in my view I try and look beyond the rough edges of people so I can try and improve on seeing another person and hearing their idea's because though I'm not a completely blind horse but I do own a pair of glasses in need of improvement.

There is one problem.

Everyone knows you have a thing against e, and do not agree with how I do things.

That's fine.. but when someone attacks me with lies, And I attack back with truths (even if I add some sarcasm in there, I still said the truth, and the sarcasm is put for a reason, SInce you are new here, I know you would not understand) and you attack me and not her.

It just goes to show your biased.

Even if you thought my sarcasm was wrong,, If you were going to judge, you are required to judge both. Or your seen as a biased judge..

and following Christs advice?

So what advice and example should I take? How he treated the sinner with love, and wiht kind words, Or how he treated the pharisee with love, and harsh words..

Amen,,

I do love when someone comes into a heated discussion, who does not even know WHY it is even heated, then starts judging one of the people..

Its like, at least stick around and see what is going on before you judge someone..

Who is this everyone to whom you often refer? I have seen you do this a number of times: make accusations from such an exaggerated stance it is essentially dishonest, and then demand the other person repents of their lies against you as you claim you are attacking with the truth, or not even attacking at all when you obviously are. How do you see such hyperbole serving you? It does not serve anybody else.
