@Absolutely, your zeal for God and faith in His miracles is very refreshing! Because you believe, you will see them. Those that do not believe, will not see them and explain them away as fake.

No worries. God knows those that are His, shake the dust off and leave the town. Perhaps God will send someone else at another time, when hearts are full of faith and able to receive.

There are times when even Jesus could not perform great miracles because of unbelief. Be encouraged. You did well to share with us your faith in God and His work in us. Peace.(y)

If that dont do it,i give up

No thanks, i don't believe such kind of displays:

Luke 17:20 When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs. 21Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

So I guess when Jesus healed the lepers, there was nothing observable about it. When He healed the blind, there was nothing observable about it. When the lame man jumped up and danced about after Peter and John spoke to him, there was nothing observable about it. When Eutychus was brought back from the dead, nothing visible to the human eye. Lazarus, the widow's son, Peter's mother-in-law, etc., nope, couldn't be seen. Nothing at all happening here, folks, move along, move along....

smh... "i don't believe" sums it up well...

Mark 9: (ESV)
21 And Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood.
22 And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you [Jesus] can do anything, have compassion on us
and help us.”
23 And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

No, it doesn't mean that God is not working today or healing today but there are no people appointed with certain gifts today.
Paul said he would be behind in no gift.

But you haven't addressed Psalms 116, if precious in the eyes of God is the death of His saints, where does it leave faith healers? are they going against what is precious in the eyes of God?
God is not 1 dimensional.
Things that seem to add up in our minds are sometimes in error.

Thanks!!!!
It is so weird for me to encounter cessationists.
I was saved into the charismatic movement.
What a feast it was. So many young people like myself so radically transformed.
I was the only one that did not have the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
After about 3 months of seeking i thought maybe i was not destined to receive it.
One sunday i woke up to God telling me crystal clear " today you will recieve the baptism in the Holy Spirit"
The pastor prayed for me and ....ZERO.
Nothing happened.
2 Holy Ghost filled women heard me speaking aboit it.
Well they grabbed me and ushered me back inside, and WHAM!
I began to speak in tongues but the the best was the annointing that was electrifying. It seemed like the 4th of July was exploding inside me.

I am the wrong guy to try to convince anything ceased.

I believe i will see a last days explosion in power.
The thing is,i know what it costs to walk in the highest anointing.
That is the walk of total obedience.
I believe God will take an army of us into that realm.
The reason cessation has traction is the backslidden leadership combined with a lack of hunger.
Elisha is us.
We are elisha.
Compelling and awesome

Such a feast God has laid out before you.
Of course he will not make you sit up to it.

To think only the devil has power is a fools paradise.
You are seeing cessation, and parking there.
Others are diving into the equipping from heaven.
Jesus went through a lot ,and we flip him off and his equipping gets dusty in the closet. We need more faith, not less.
Look at the 7 letters to the 7 churches.
Some lost the fire. Lost the anointing.
Cessationism is automatic lukewarmness.
Not good

The kingdom of God was not yet, if it was, Jesus wouldn't be preaching "..the kingdom of God is at hand.." and would not have promised the thief on the cross to remember him when He comes with His kingdom.

After Jesus, the Apostles laid the foundation and after the Apostles, no signs, believers are being built into God's dwelling place.

There are 1001 questionable items in your video but i will not get into it, the point i want to make is, why point at him (David Hogan) and not yourself? Why aren't you doing greater works? Himself (David Hogan) is pointing at something that happened in the villages where there are no cameras and videos yet the same congregation that he is narrating to, has more bereaved people than a village could ever have.

It's .... (Hard? depressing? discouraging? difficult? )... something... to face the ...(unbelief?)... adversity... that has been presented in this forum regarding tongues, healing, miracles, etc that God promised to give as gifts in the last days.

Thank you Jesus for those who still uphold your word and by your grace are allowed (by you) to allow the Holy Ghost to work through them to give life to those in need!

You are free to believe what ever you wish.
Like i said, had i not walked in my shoes,i might have joined you.
I used to think i should have been born to walk and talk w/ Jesus during his earthly ministry. Then i believe God showed me i would have been with the crowd that rejected him. To live in that guilt, would be overwhelming.

You tend to sit comfortably in the background lobbing doubt bombs at anything out of a mental picture.
To you,the bible and Jesus are mental abstracts.
Over and over, the bible authenticates itself in the supernatural.
When JTB questioned Jesus authenticity,Jesus said nothing except " tell him about the miracles ,signs and wonders"
Jesus authenticity was the miracles.
He did not quit.
Your teachers did

The mens bible study i attend is almost 100% cessationists.

I quit it once. I got laughed out of there when i told them a awesome story of a salvation of a friend of mine.
I have never been laughed out of a meeting.

You will be influenced by spirits. Religious spirits are a nasty type.
To mock a salvation because it was set in motion by the supernatural ,comes natural to those in mental religious organizations.

One of the men pleaded for me to return to help out.
It is hard to be there knowing i could be turned on again....over Gods amazing power.

Wow.

I am living proof

After Jesus, the Apostles laid the foundation and after the Apostles, no signs, believers are being built into God's dwelling place.
That would make sense...

except that when Jesus was still walking around Judea, He said that the kingdom of God has come, as did His cousin John.

Matthew 3:2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

Matthew 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

Matthew 10:7 As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’

Matthew 12:28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Mark 1:15 “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

Luke 10:9 Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.

Luke 10:11 ‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’

Luke 11:20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
