Then I posted abuse helplines because i have meet people on this forum who have been or still,being abused.

They didn't see a way out.

I am not on here all the,time but figured if you saw someone telling you that they were being abused you could,pass on the,helplines...

Then I said a prayer.

I still don't understand why it has caused such anger in folks.

because it's real

you have to be ready for the attack when you get real

there are some posts on here the last few pages that sound like the individual has lost their mind and do not even know what they are posting

there is no possible way a topic such as this can ever be discussed in open forum on this site

but I think that has already been noted

we are in war and the missiles are flying overhead...this stuff is real...light and dark

I don't care about the whacko posts and you do not have to explain yourself to anyone...they don't really want an explanation anyway

Dear God: we know that your angels watch over us and the lives of all true born again believers in You Lord Jesus. Our hearts are sadden by the bickering and fighting and blindness and pride. Lord if we are deceived show us our deception and teach us Your truth and light. The enemy wants us to run and hide. To sit down and shut up. To be beaten down, shamed and defeated. But we are not defeated for we find rest in You Lord. Though we may stand still, we are not silent for our hearts cry out to You Lord.

We pray prayers of intercession for those who are suffering or recovering from abuse Lord. Show them your light and love, Lord. Help them to escape the bondage and lies. Help them heal.

Lord give us Your wisdom. Show us how to,be Your hands and feet in this lost world. Let us speak words of life and not death. Let us Be your peacemakers and healers, instead of waging war against others let us join in prayer for God to deliver us from our true enemies: spiritual darkness in high places.

there seem to be a problem with the word kid. are you talking about nursery kid, sunday school age kids

or young adults ie ages groups.

for example

cc could start a new forum for youth teachers and parents that could go to that forum for advice in youth up bringing and church development. etc


yet if doing so, the cc could also could start a 30+ group for leader or people who would like to follow a carer in a ministry of faith in certain christian religions. or want a deeper insight to the bible.

for only 30 year of age and over.

a jewish teacher/rabbi started at the age group 30 years old.

that could may be bring less upsets to the modes and people who visit the forums. etc

The above line is a typical dismissive approach to morality, holiness, truth,
repentance, confession, theology, teaching, reality.

If the point is awkward without an obvious answer you like is it old covenant
or new covenant? Reject OC, accept NC. This is just a way of denying God.

I have seen this in Islam. You have a formula in life. You apply it without
regard to anything else and you get your result, suicide bombers, murdering
your enemies, absolute authority where to argue is death. This has never
been Gods way.

Gods way is to present you with a choice. And then you learn as you walk
one step at a time, until finally you arrive.

I want a reality check here. Do you know how many healers lie, blatant to your face lie
about what they have seen and what is going on? Too many to count.

So every healing has to be shown to be real with testimony, with proof, else it is just
make believe.

It is why the healings in scripture cannot be faked, are real life transformations.
But most of the healers you read about, the claims are fake and lying with no restraint,
because to them truth does not matter, when the point is truth is everything.

As soon as truth becomes a lie, Gods word is a lie. So you do not want to ever cross
that line, but this movement does not care, at all. Even believers continual walking in
sin, no problem, God forgives them as they sin, and you need to focus on Christ, and
ignore the sin. No repentance, or confession or seeing the impact on those around you.

So come on cc, lie, rant, persecute, make things up, twist every line or contribution of
another, get angry, yet this is ok for a believer walking with spiritual authority in Christ.

Do you know the example this is? It is hypocracy and death of the faith. You do not
come back from there. It is simply not the way of the Holy Spirit.

You mentioned trigger words. What you wrote triggered an anger response in them
and they filled in the blanks with a rational explanation.

Psychologists say this is actually how we work, we back fill. And if you talk about
sensitive issues, and this is one very sensitive issue, fireworks will erupt.

It is also why everything needs to be addressed at some point so that these hidden
explosions can be healed, hurts resolved, forgiveness given, prayer and the Lord
brought in.

We do have a young adults forum, but I am not sure how that will solve any problems.

All I see is that you want to put an age limit to teachers?

Which I don't understand, there are no official teachers on CC. Just people talking. Also physical age is not as important as spiritual age...how long have you been walking with The Holy Spirit?

This forum is over run with strife, hate, contention and evil. Satan rules in this forum, and if you think he doesn't, then you're all delusional. Perhaps some of you prefer serving satan over Jesus? Certainly seems like it.. :/ I am thoroughly appalled at the posts on this thread, and on many other threads as well. Every one of you has, at one time or another AND on more than one occasion, complained about the disintegrating state of this forum. But instead of offering answers, all you do is gripe and moan and blame the mods.

News flash: it isn't the MODS' job to make this forum better!! That's just a cop-out way of thinking. It's OUR responsibility to make this place better. After all, WE ARE the ones who post here, oh excuse me, who fight and argue and bash people here. WE are the ones responsible for making this forum as bad as it is. You want more peace in this forum? Then look in the mirror, ask yourself what can YOU do to help make a change here?, and then come here and actually pitch in and DO something to help make this place better. I remember years ago when Russ had just left the Imperials & finished 'Walls of Glass', the news came out that Russ had used drugs & alcohol. Here's the one that showed he was already was an alcoholic at 21 when He married Tori.

I know I read about drug abuse, too, but I can no longer find it. It has apparently been scrubbed. I read about it in the late eighties.

There's lots of things you can't find on the internet..... like somewhere in the late 80's-90's, Russ blew out his voice before he joined Bill Gaither. He had a unique barritone voice that could reach past lead. I remember it sounded like he sang 110% on nearly every song he sang with the Imperials.

I found it profound and does emphasize that pretending away abuse isn't the answer. Sometimes it takes more than weekly counseling sessions. Most of the time it takes more than a few words on a forum, but we all have to start somewhere.

So, with the aim of not doing to his daughters what his dad had done to him, Russ went to Santa Fe. Over the course of three months experts at Life Healing Center helped him address his deeply held secrets and pains. And, while there may not have been any huge surprises or revelations, he did come face to face with the abuse, neglect and consequences that came out of his childhood.

I find the story inspiring because he got help and with God, he overcame.

Whole congregations talk about healing for years and nothing else and see nothing.

It has never been the focus of Jesus's ministry, just a statement of authority.

Some of the most disturbed people in our church also come out of this movement.
And for the mentally ill it is often the worst place to go, and they cannot handle
the emotionalism without restraint or sense.

Wherever Gods truth stands out, the enemy will oppose it.

Look at the church. It is not reviving or going forward, if anything it is in trouble.
It has given in to secularism, and unbelief and spawned compromised believers who
deny the fundamentals of the faith. It is so bad they believe they have the right
to use Gods word badly against the very truths of Christ.

But it has ever been so. Read the early church fathers, and they have arguments
about almost all the different aspects of faith. Paul complained some said the
resurrection had already happened.

The measure of value is when at the end a different conclusion was reached.
And I know some seriously damaged people are here with great turmoil in their
lives, but they do not believe Christ can bring peace in their hearts.

But this is the step of faith He asks all of us to make to get pure hearts.
Without a pure heart we will never see God.

There is no place for compromise in the eternal.
Or are we really just talking about a hobby in our spare time?
