It is obvious there is a divide here, but it is not hatred. On our side it is astonishment. Our position is just to point out what is happening and its consequences.

Now what is plain is you love these teachers and like their message. I am not sure you quite understand the Lords ways.
He created a world where we choose our roots, what feeds us and what twist we accept on words and reality. It is so that innocence is never the plea, I did not know.

Joseph Prince turning the narrow gate and the broad path leads to destruction.

So few find life on earth and life in heaven. This is not everyone is going to heaven, and this comment is just who prospers on earth. Everyone can work out few prosper on earth and most are poor, that is not news.

But Jesus is summarising the sermon on the mount, to walk in the way of Jesus is hard. As righteousness is the key, little wonder this is true as most do not believe righteousness is possible.

The great thing about witnessing is you will find the end of your road, and those who do not take heed will regret this for eternity, and those who do, to eternal life.

May the divide become more obvious so people know what we stand for, and who the Lord actually is.
It is very sad, and "telling" at the same time, that your mind automatically goes to thoughts of money when Joseph Prince speaks of finding and having abundant life in Christ. Many of us "Grace Lovers" on here hardly have two spare nickels to rub together....... nor are we expecting God to make us rich, but we know success in Jesus.

Ya know, listening to that bearded wonder, I myself, wonder just what horrible desires must continually run through some people's minds that they are constantly accusing Grace Lovers of all this unholy living.

Hey HeRoseFromTheDead. This is much more digestible than the 'shock' videos. Something that I can work with. Scriptures instead of light sabers. Its a start. Thanks.

I will definitely agree that, on both sides, these experts see the worst in others. If people committed sins in the way that is assumed that they would "live like the devil" by 'getting permission' from Stanley then there is serious doubt about the original conversion experience. Is the Holy Spirit unable to arrest these people with conviction? Ergo, Stanley > Holy Spirit. "No, Holy Spirit. I have it on good authority." Please. If the Holy Spirit can't get to them then chance does Corner?

I will give old fuzzy (I'm a fuzzy too) some credit in that he suggests the hyper-grace crowd, or grace lovers, genuinely believe what they believe. Instead of treating it as the wolf in sheep's clothing knowing better but intentionally trying to deceive for money's sake. I believe Stanley believes what he claims he believes. Whether he is in error or not is another question. And I am far from comfortable with everything I heard him and others say in this and other videos. Half of which are questions that I came up with on my own over the years.

I've got some more on my mind, but it will have to wait. Three straight days of 12+ hours talking. My normal lifestyle is one where on most days, I speak not a single word to anyone. Not even on the internet. I read, but do not interact like here. I'm in extreme overload and near shutdown.

Apostacy

Can teachers and preachers become apostate? How can you tell? What do you do if they do?

We are called to walk a walk, there are no guarantees we will pass the test, but Jesus called us, empowered us and walks with us, so why would we fail to arrive?

What happens when peoples loyalty is stronger to their preachers than the truth?

"How dare you question these people? Who are you? How dare you speak on behalf of God."

This is the voice of loyalty and commitment over faithfulness to righteousness and truth.
We are called each day to question ourselves, to die to self and live to God.

No one should be assumed they are following Jesus anymore, or any set principles. It is obvious some did truly come to know Jesus and walk in His ways. But riches, fame, a bigger church, greed, came in and took away the truth and replaced with anything that continued the ride.

If as a follower of Jesus you do not stand up and question this use of scripture, this morality or lack of it, this acceptance of anything as if the world is innocent and spiritual issues are not life and death, you are agreeing with it.

If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.
Mark 8:38

But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. Everyone will hate you because of me. But not a hair of your head will perish. Stand firm, and you will win life.
Luke 21:14-19

Dealing with defenders of these men is treacherous because they will use every technique, every weakness they can muster to upset and over turn you.

And it is right to question peoples leading. When the Lord asked me to deal with Ember, it meant take the issues head on and not worry about the flak.

And what was her real problem. How could I dare speak with any authority or that God was using me?
Now the Lord is using all of us, and we share out of His grace and blessing, His word in our lives, so hopefully we are speaking from the Lord all the time. But obviously unless the message is "right" it must be the enemy. Worse still if what I am sharing is just the word of God, I am not the enemy speaking, God is.

Yeah we all have to start somewhere. I wanted to post 3 other videos from this guy, but he is so intense that I figured 'grace' believers would go absolutely apoplectic and get turned off and start whining and accusing me of stuff. Not that I really care, but I would hate to see his message, which is really good, get maligned.

Light sabers, huh? Well here ya go. For those who have played this video game, this is hilarious. For those who haven't, maybe not so much.

How many people in congregations say, "I feel the Lord has led me to say..."
Now I have heard many people pray for healing, prophecy revival, great works and wonders and actually the opposite has happened. Now imagine this. If every time this happened it was written down, and if it failed that person was executed for being a false prophet. How many prophets would be left?

I would though encourage everyone who feels led to share or to just express something in the Lord to do, whether that is argue with someone, or point something or whatever. Too often people remain silent while things go wrong.

What you will discover is it does not necessarily make a difference, but for Nineveh it did. We are called to love and warn people, though the enemy claim we are actually doing satans work. But then he would say that wouldn't he.

In our denomination, we jest that we spell Faith, R-I-S-K. That's the one thing Jesus pushed... to keep on keeping on, even when you see no progress or returns.

The founder of our Denomination "felt led" to preach healing. And for eight solid months, he and his team prayed for literally thousands of people. Not a single person got healed of anything. In fact, the guys praying often got sick with what the people they were praying for had.

Finally, after he had just about lost hope that he had heard from God, he was called to a home to pray for a woman with the flu. He really didn't even truly "believe" it was worth doing, but he went. And he relates that his prayer was half-hearted and really only done out of a sense of obedience.

While he was rather dejectedly explaining to the husband that prayer for healing often doesn't work, they turned around, and the wife had gotten up and was preparing breakfast for them. This ministry has gone on to fairly EXPLODE with healing at almost every service in about 2,000 churches, and probably three or four times that many out in the streets all week long.

If you are troubled by these videos which have been selected with the purpose of maligning other forum members please understand that those of us who understand that the grace of God is not something we earn or that we can add to, do not agree with with much of what has been shown

It is a sad commentary that certain members..5 or 6 ...have exhibited a desire to mock and falsely accuse by attempting to say that those here that may speak in tongues or perhaps believe and have witnessed God still heals people, are in agreement with wild and uncontrolled exhibitionism or agree with the improper use of spiritual gifts

The fact remains that attacking with personal agendas exhibits an ungodly desire to hurt another or a carnal desire to be the expert or winner of a debate. Why do so called Christians do such things?

I would suggest to anyone that is undecided about the gifts listed in the New Testament to pm a member here who is not anti New Testament teaching.

The videos here do not do anything other than hurt the cause of Christ.

There are a minority of folks here who are doing their utmost. ..which includes false accusations and pretending they don't know what they are doing...fake apologies...and harassment. ..please excuse their behavior....it is not Christian and not good for this forum

There are many kind and well balanced members here who are appalled at the nature of the personal attacks

We pray, in Jesus name, they are stopped.

The excess's in the charismatic movement are dis-'graceful'. There are those who are more biblical in their overall view. I am not charismatic, bt=ut I do understand the difference. WOF- Health/wealth and prosperity gospel does not stand orfit in with those more traditional charismatics. WOF/health/wealth is a false gospel. and unfortunatley people are very willing to follow it..it goes to show where the heart is.

As I say I am not charismatic, but I do have good friends who are briothers and sisters in Christ who would also codemn heavily the false teaching of 'word of faith -Health, wealth and prosperity teachers.

Hopefully most on here can realize the difference. Don't be fooled.

Well phil...there can be excess in anything

Much of the NT was written to correct wrong behavior

We are not talking about that though..we are talking about the disgrace of deliberately displaying what we ...or MOST OF US HERE ..agree is WRONG

See, the attempt to discredit ALL truth is evidenced by presenting ONLY THE WEIRD STUFF and then lying and saying we believe that

That's a real problem and not an acceptable way to converse on a Christian forum

Interesting. You say that you and others don't agree with much of what has been shown, yet you staunchly defend them in their error and express horror that their deeds are publicly exposed. I and others are just providing commentary on the videos that they themselves have made publicly available.

They who receive a true prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a true prophet's reward.

The one who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. Matthew 10:41

Likewise, they who receive a false prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a false prophet's reward.

Why do you insist, rosefromthedead, this false claim you continually make is what we say?

You claim this thread us for anyone to post but you have just proved; once again, that you have an agenda

That agenda is not Christian

You are trying to state that people you do not know...have no idea how they behave in church...do not really care to have us respond here and whom you have continually mocked and cast derision upon, are represented by the bizarre actions and unscriptural beliefs represented in SOME of the videos posted in here

Which one represents you? Maybe you should post one so we can better understand your personal belief

Jesus is the greatest prophet of all time...There are no other prophets represented posting here

If someone posting in this thread thinks of themself as a prophet, or you are trying to state someone is...the word DELUSIONAL
would apply

Some self proclaimed prophets deepest desire is to control and manipulate others through a supposed special relationship with God

Its really just witchcraft in one if it's many forms and the religion of fallen mankind

I would truly advise anyone embarking in or practicing this overt rebellion against God to confess their sin and ask forgiveness before God hardens their heart even more

EVERY single son and daughter of God already have the Holy Spirit indwelling them and we do not need another priest...God did away with that system...our one and ONLY High Priest is the Lord Jesus Christ

QUOTE=HeRoseFromTheDead;2481045]The spiritual truth behind that verse has nothing to do with law. It pertains to those who claim to speak in GOD's name, yet are hypocrites and liars, and thereby bring shame to his name among unbelievers.
Heres a spiritual truth.

I never really watched Prince before but I made it a point to watch him yesterday and today and I am thankful to have given Prince an opportunity to speak for himself

I decided to watch him BECAUSE of the fuss YOU and several others have made and the vitriol, mocking, derision and hatred. ..yes...HATRED..you and the same several others, have shown in your replies to Willie and others AND towards Joseph Prince

Yesterday he spoke about praying in tongues and today he spoke about the love and grace of God.

Praise God...I will keep on watching him!

I started watching Joyce Meyer for the same reason and well hallelujah glory to God I watch her regularly now...not every day, but pretty often

I have pretty good discernment and I trust God will keep me by His Spirit

This thread was created to bring dishonor but I would like to testify that God has used it for His own purposes!

I'm not pentecostal but I have used some time worn familiar phrases they use just for the fun of it

So yeah...Glory to God ![/QUOTE]

This post sister has really nailed the main issue with this thread. Like the drug pusher who gives a kid cocaine and says "isn't this drug just terrible!?", the OP builds this HUGE strawman and then castigates those who refuse to burn it down.

Nobody gave these videos a thought, or subscribed to the stuff they say, til they were posted here.

ALWAYS the love is missing with these threads. Well I can tell you OP, I love you, I'm not exactly sure why you feel compelled to start these threads, but you are loved. Can you please just focus on that fact, rather than this other stuff? They will know we are Christian by our love brothers and sisters. Let's just resolve to love him.

Well I know someone who is very fond of Prince and is still addicted to porn and thinks grace covers it. That's why I don't like his teachings. Warning him for Prince's teachings didn't help though, so I just help him by giving him other teachings and praying for him.
:D I know someone who likes vanilla ice cream and is still addicted to porn. I guess ice cream made him do it.

No one, including Joseph Prince can do anything about the weird ways people take what we say to justify their actions. Prince never, anywhere said it was fine to just keep sinning. He DOES say that even if you are failing in fighting a sin God's grace is still with you. And that is the absolute truth.... it is.
