Maybe we could learn something from this:

Leviticus 10
10 Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it and laid incense on it and offered unauthorized[SUP][a][/SUP] fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them. [SUP]2 [/SUP]And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord. [SUP]3 [/SUP]Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” And Aaron held his peace.

I said he used the word a couple times at the end of my note. He never explains it. He never preaches the Gospel. The points are still valid. I watched the whole thing and took notes as I watched. Anyone who watches it will see that I covered everything.
No, this is a flat out ________ . If you had just made your usual griping remarks, I might not have responded. But you came right out and accused that man of SPECIFICALLY never saying anything about repentance until the end... and then you went on to say that even this was not good enough for you, that he had to includes definitions in order for him to be approved by you.

This is the kind of sneaky, deceptive, half-truth put-downs that have a large number of people just ignoring much of what you guys say.

Okay. He said it at the beginning too. My bad. The points are still valid. Anyone who watches the sermon will agree. Find something else to gripe about. Like how about addressing the valid points I made and not focusing on on the one insignificant mistake I made?

And I wasn't lying BTW. It was a mistake.

You stripped the passage of it's context.

[SUP]7 [/SUP]But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? [SUP]8 [/SUP]Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. [SUP]9 [/SUP]And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. [SUP]10 [/SUP]Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

[SUP]11 [/SUP]“I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. [SUP]12 [/SUP]His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”

The fire baptism mentioned here is a bad thing.
No the chaff burning is bad, not the treshing floor. Did He baptize the Pharisees with the Holy Spirit?

And yes. Biblical terms need to be defined or else what is the point in claiming it? Why would someone repent and not even know what it means. You have no legitimate argument. My critique is accurate.

False fire and authentic fire. Read Michael Brown's book on it.

The wheat are the ones baptized with the Spirit. The chaff are the ones baptized with fire. The fire here is the wrath of God.

My goodness...check the "spirit" that would come against this happening......look at how these people that are coming to Christ....to speak evil of this man is telling of what is driving some people...."You do not know what spirit you are off"

Luke 9:54-56 (KJV)
[SUP]54 [/SUP] And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
[SUP]55 [/SUP] But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
[SUP]56 [/SUP] For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

1 Peter 2:1-3 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander,
[SUP]2 [/SUP] like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,
[SUP]3 [/SUP] if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.

[SUP]3 [/SUP] if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.
Jude
Judgment on False Teachers
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. [SUP]4 [/SUP]For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved[SUP][c][/SUP] a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. [SUP]6 [/SUP]And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day— [SUP]7 [/SUP]just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire,[SUP][d][/SUP] serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

[SUP]8 [/SUP]Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones. [SUP]9 [/SUP]But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you.” [SUP]10 [/SUP]But these people blaspheme all that they do not understand, and they are destroyed by all that they, like unreasoning animals, understand instinctively. [SUP]11 [/SUP]Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam's error and perished in Korah's rebellion. [SUP]12 [/SUP]These are hidden reefs[SUP][e][/SUP] at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted; [SUP]13 [/SUP]wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever.

[SUP]14 [/SUP]It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, [SUP]15 [/SUP]to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” [SUP]16 [/SUP]These are grumblers, malcontents, following their own sinful desires; they are loud-mouthed boasters, showing favoritism to gain advantage.

A Call to Persevere
[SUP]17 [/SUP]But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. [SUP]18 [/SUP]They[SUP][f][/SUP] said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” [SUP]19 [/SUP]It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. [SUP]20 [/SUP]But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, [SUP]21 [/SUP]keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. [SUP]22 [/SUP]And have mercy on those who doubt; [SUP]23 [/SUP]save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment[SUP][g][/SUP] stained by the flesh.

Doxology
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, [SUP]25 [/SUP]to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

THAT'S THE POINT. If you are going to demean a man, you had BETTER be right. This pitiful game of going back to say "it was a mistake" ONLY after someone calls you on it is the kind of thing that discredits so much of what you say.

Had I not said something, I imagine you would have continued to deride him for that same "mistake" you made.

I didn't demean him. I critiqued his sermon.

This thread has been a total disgrace to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is shameful how people have acted in here. The name of this thread has been fully demonstrated by some of the very ones posting in here.

How would I know I made a mistake unless someone told me lol. Your argument has no substance. You know I'm right so get off it. The points are still valid.

Behold, I send My messenger,
And he will prepare the way before Me.
And the Lord, whom you seek,
Will suddenly come to His temple,
Even the Messenger of the covenant,
In whom you delight.
Behold, He is coming,”
Says the*Lord*of hosts.

2*“But who can endure the day of His coming?
And who can stand when He appears?
For He*is*like a refiner’s fire
And like launderers’ soap.
3*He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;
He will purify the sons of Levi,
And purge them as gold and silver,
That they may offer to the*Lord
An offering in righteousness.

4*“Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem
Will be pleasant to the*Lord,
As in the days of old,
As in former years.
5*And I will come near you for judgment;
I will be a swift witness
Against sorcerers,
Against adulterers,
Against perjurers,
Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans,
And against those who turn away an alien—
Because they do not fear Me,”
Says the*Lord*of hosts.

6*“For I*am*the*Lord, I do not change;
Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
7*Yet from the days of your fathers
You have gone away from My ordinances
And have not kept*them.
Return to Me, and I will return to you,”
Says the*Lord*of hosts.

Denying our Lord and Master..the Lord Jesus is denying everything He did for us on the cross and resurrection and what He has made us as a new creation in Him.
