Nope not a threatening type person at all I'd rather share the good stuff....

So my next plan of action for them would be....since I have their address of course..... is to possibly send them a Christmas Card thanking them again for their purchase and a pamphlet on Jesus Second Coming..... The hope that ends this mess of sin...

I don't tell them they will go to hell because most of them already know if they don't follow God the end is not anything to look forward to.... Holy Spirit can do the convicting I am just giving them reading material and the ability to make a choice... After all it is their choice to make..
I don't tell them they will go to hell because most of them already know if they don't follow God the end is not anything to look forward to...
Most people do not believe in hell. They have convinced themselves that hell doesnt exist. They do not know that if they dont follow God the end is not desirable. Where do you get your information?

MsSuzanna if you are indeed a minister then you more so than anyone must show the love and heart of God, the fruits of the spirit are peace patience kindness understanding love I see anger impatience a great lack of understanding of others and a fiery temper from you.
You are in the role of leadership and thus you more so than anyone will held accountable for your words how you speak and treat others and if you throw fiery darts and point fingers as you are doing in this thread. I hope this is not how you normally conduct things because if so you are in no place to be a minister.

There is a huge difference between witnessing and evangelizing, we all witness simply by the words we speak by the way we react to others to evangelize to go out and spread the word is different and while you may seem to think that one should be like a raging fire you would be in the wrong.

There are children of fire and children of water then there are some like me who are both, when ministering to the lost if one is passionate but yelling and speaking in a loud and uncivilized manner then what good will they do? the fire people need to see is not a bold and powerful nature and wording the fire they need is the kind that shows the deep love and passion for God and trust me this fire and the fire I spoke of bold nature and wording are no where near the same.

You see some people are more prone to come to christ from a child of water one who still calm and serene others will be affected by that fire they see burning in a persons heart the clear passion and love for God but if they are only getting in the heat of our so called fire and all they see and hear is us shouting and speaking in a bold manner hoping our boldness will make them come to christ they will oly run away from faith not be brought to it.

The interesting thing about fire is it can both destroy and bring life, a fire can make a field be turned to ash but the grass and flowers will grow back more beautiful and healthier than before, fire can be used for good and bad the fire of God heals and gives life it is not a fire to show boldness and to be a blazing out of control flame arising from the believer and engulfing everything around us because that kind of fire will only burn and keep people at bay.

Sometimes the zeal for our own assignment from the Lord gets the better of us and we think everyone else should be doing the same thing.

The evangelists thinks "What are we doing having teaching sessions when there are people lost"...the teacher says " We need to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ to do His work in and through us.."...the pastor says "We need to love on these hurt ones in our flock and protect them"
Jesus assigned everyone to plant seeds and water seeds. I didnt. He didnt say "hey! Just some of you go out and bring the good news."

The spirit already has exposed you as being someone who accuses me of believing a works-based gospel and while you here teach a works-based gospel.
There's a word for that. Here, let's play word game. I give you the definition and you see if you can give me the word. Ready, set, go... (Final Jeopardy tune playing in thebackground)

noun
1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

As a minister I am constantly battling this ignorant statement of lazy or uneasy Christians.

Jesus said to make disciples not converts.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
(Mat 28:19)

Who's 'Chesley Floyd'?
as mentioned in the OP.
How is one going to be a disciple without first converting? How is one to be converted without first hearing the gospel?

Faith come by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

My OP is quoting a minister. I dont know who the person you asked about is.

Perhaps you might have explained you were quoting a minister so these confusions don't happen

There are many ways to evangelize, the old fashioned way of going out on the streets sharing the Gospel rarely has results - at least not in Britain and the preacher has on occasion been arrested when the unsaved feel convicted, take offence and report them to the nearest policeman. I am an introvert but do In think I'm going to Hell? Not on your life! Your condemnation is no more valid than my assurance!

I have found that work colleagues come to me and do the asking when they become curious about my faith and I have been told I am "different". I also do post stuff online where the unsaved can view it and consider it - I make myself available to questions BUT despite all this, it is my firm belief that until The Holy Spirit prompts me it is pointless taking it upon oneself, going out and speaking to the unsaved for they are not "ripe" to receive the word.
You know what is amazing about people who assume and jump before they look? They make an arse out of themselves and end up looking pretty foolish.

I never said anyone is going to hell for being a introvert. Read the whole thread. I never said it!

The Holy Spirit prompts me when the field is ripe. Now is the time! I know when to speak up. Its God time.

The Holy Spirit will only use the willing vessels. He doesnt bother with the name only crowd

Also I greatly disagree with this minister, the church is not a battleship this is not the military. And this part right here-It was not designed or established for any other purpose than offensive movement against the adversary's strongholds. It was established by God to spread the Gospel.
I would have to disagree the church was made to help spread the gospel but the above quote in saying it was not designed for any other purpose than offensive movement against the adversaries strongholds is incorrect the church was form for more than going against the enemy it was formed for communion for the building of relationships bonds and faith of fellow believers it is the house of the Lord in which one must feel comfortable and like they are cared about it is a place where many teach and learn where lives are saved and where broken spirits are healed it is not a battleship and is not the base of operations of soldiers going to war this is not call of duty it's not the navy seals this is the house of God and If I were to imagine being in his house in his kingdom I sure wouldn't imagine a battleship

Well I was in ministry. And I am now speaking ONLY of the people and churches I ministered in, which in over 20yrs of ministry was hundreds of churches. It was very disheartening and disappointing to see the apathy of a lot of Christians. Many would put two dollars in the love offering and go spend 40 at the local diner. We traveled from church to church, did outdoor concerts, sang anywhere we were invited. Sang for the Salvation Army in a park in the middle of Toronto. And when people sat back in the seat with an uncaring attitude it was very frustrating.

I remember a Nazarene church we sang at where four older ladies who had come to church together all accepted the Lord that morning. We even had family accept the Lord in some of the concerts. When you stood in front of a congregation you could tell if they were serious about seeing people come to Christ or they were coming to put their time in in church. To me,the worse thing that ever happened to the church is when it moved up town. When they moved away from the little missions on the main street of town. They moved up town and they have a big electric sign out front, thats their ministry to the lost you know. Some quip that they got online. They have air conditioning and a big screen tv to watch the Super Bowl, because thats a ministry too you know! They don't sing out of the hymn books but on the wall, no one wants to hear about being a "worm". Yes, they moved up town and the only converts these days are disgruntled church members from the church down the road. This is my observation from travelling in churches of all denominations. Songs always have a way of saying best for me...

It's crowded in worship today
As she slips in trying to fade into the faces
The girls teasing laughter is carrying farther than they know
Farther than they know

But if we are the body
Why aren't His arms reaching?
Why aren't His hands healing?
Why aren't His words teaching?
And if we are the body
Why aren't His feet going?
Why is His love not showing them there is a way?
There is a way, there is a way

A traveler is far away from home
He sheds his coat and quietly sinks into the back row
The weight of their judgmental glances
Tells him that his chances are better out on the road

But if we are the body

Why aren't His arms reaching?
Why aren't His hands healing?
Why aren't His words teaching?
And if we are the body
Why aren't His feet going?
Why is His love not showing them there is a way?

Jesus paid much too high a price
For us to pick and choose who should come

And we are the body of Christ
But if we are the body
Why aren't His arms reaching?
Why aren't His hands healing?
Why aren't His words teaching?
And if we are the body
Why aren't His feet going?
Why is His love not showing them there is a way?

Jesus is the way
Jesus is the way
we are His hands
We are His feet
We are His body
Jesus is the way

Well, as long as Ive been reading and writing ,which has been quite some time, I was taught that you use quotation marks to quote a person and you also leave a footnote of the reference from one from which one obtained the information. I did both of those things in my OP.
You are confused for reasons other than my proper writing skills

I don't how valid your(proper) writing skills are but you cannot assume everyone is going to know proper writing and understand your intentions

Not much love happening on this thread. Christians should have the love of Jesus...maybe then we would have the equipment to go out and evangelize - it might actually work...first things first and all that.
