I told you the Truth, and God gave you the choice to Believe or reject it.

It is not what the Holy Spirit can do, it is WHAT AND WHEN GOD the HOLY SPIRIT allows Satan to do what he wants. AND GOD SAYS NOT UNTIL HE THE HOLY SPIRIT, is taken out of the way.

Wrong, what I believe and Teach is the absolute Truth, and you have willing blinded yourself to it; becoming instead part of the prophesied FALLING AWAY FROM TRUTH.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 (NKJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
{This is describing TWO events, not ONE Event. One happens so quick that it is compared to lightning flashing across the sky; while the Coming happens so slowly that all the world's armies have time to gather in Israel to make war against Jesus Christ when HE come back.}
[SUP]2 [/SUP] not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first {Which you have chosen to be part of.}, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition{But we leave in the gathering, before he the Antichrist can organize and sign the Seven Year Peace Treaty with Israel and her Enemies. We may see his Election OR Running for Election, but we WILL LEAVE. No man knows the day or hour.},
[SUP]4 [/SUP] who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?
[SUP]6 [/SUP] And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
[SUP]10 [/SUP] and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[SUP]11 [/SUP] And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
[SUP]12 [/SUP] that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Other considerations:

Geneva Bible
Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, except there come a departing first, and that the man of sin be disclosed, even the son of perdition...

World English Bible
Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the departure comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction...

apostasia: defection, revolt
Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine
Transliteration: apostasia
Short Definition: defection, apostasy
Definition: defection, apostasy, revolt.
Strong's 646
apostasía (from 868 /aphístemi, "leave, depart," which is derived from 575 /apó, "away from" and 2476 /histémi, "stand") – properly, departure (implying desertion); apostasy – literally, "a leaving, from a previous standing."

Apostasia only occurs again in Acts 21:21, where it is translated "forsake" in the KJV context.

i suppose i ought to have asked if you were referring to the change of these vile bodies at coming of the Lord to judge the living and the dead...or if you are referring to the laughable fantasy "pretribulation" rapture.

typically people using the word rapture are suggesting 3 comings; some people disappearing and a nightmare befalls the poor jews and other nonsense.

i certainly don't scoff at the day of Judgment. do you?
WHO ON EARTH HAVE YOU BEEN TALKING TO? You say, "typically people using the word rapture are suggesting comings". NOT WHERE I COME FROM. NEVER HAVE I HEARD THAT BEFORE. You have been getting that information from non-believers in the Rapture, slandering our beliefs. NO WAY DO WE CONSIDER THE RAPTURE A COMING. Appearing in the Air briefly does NOT constitute a Coming. A COMING is when HIS FEET TOUCH THE GROUND AND NOT BEFORE.

IT is not talking about Scoffing at the Day of Judgement, but rather Scoffing at a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. Read it again.

Titus 2:13 (NKJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

There would be NO POINT IN LOOKING FOR HIM, prior to the Antichrist signing the Seven Year Treaty with Israel and her Enemies, if your theological point of view was true.

Those unfortunate enough to have been deceived by this
false doctrine believe that there will be a time when Jesus Christ will first come secretly to remove all
believers from the earth which they base on (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54) while
1those left behind will have to endure a supposed seven year tribulation period of which there is no such
scripture stating seven years of tribulation to be found anywhere in the Bible. It just does not exist! The
Church holds many positions on the so called secret rapture, but the Second Coming is undisputed. The
Second Coming is the event when Jesus Christ returns to the earth with all His Holy angels to take all
those that are His home. At this point, the earth is totally destroyed and meets with “sudden destruction.”

2 Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass

away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that
are therein shall be burned up.”

The Day of the LORD is not the time when HE calls out His Bride:

3:10 The day of the Lord. See Introduction to Joel: Historical and Theological Themes; see note on 1 Thessalonians 5:2. “Day of the Lord” is a technical term pointing to the special interventions of God in human history for judgment. It ultimately refers to the future time of judgment whereby God judges the wicked on earth and ends this world system in its present form. The OT prophets saw the final Day of the Lord as unequaled darkness and damnation, a day when the Lord would act in a climactic way to vindicate His name, destroy His enemies, reveal His glory, establish His kingdom, and destroy the world (cf. Isa. 2:10-21; 13:6-22; Joel 1, 2; Amos 5; Obad. 15; Zech. 14; Mal. 4; 2 Thess. 1:7; 2:2). It occurs at the time of the tribulation on earth (Rev. 6:17), and again 1,000 years later at the end of the millennial kingdom before the creation of the new heavens and new earth (v. 13; Rev. 20:1-21:1). as a thief in the night. The Day of the Lord will have a surprise arrival, sudden, unexpected, and disastrous to the unprepared (see notes on 1 Thess. 5:2). the heavens will pass away with a great noise. The heavens refer to the physical universe. The great noise connotes a whistling or a crackling sound as of objects being consumed by flames. God will incinerate the universe, probably in an atomic reaction that disintegrates all matter as we know it (vv. 7, 11, 12, 13). the elements will melt with fervent heat. The elements are the atomic components into which matter is ultimately divisible, which make up the composition of all the created matter. Peter means that the atoms, neutrons, protons, and electrons are all going to disintegrate (v. 11). the earth and the works. The whole of the physical, natural earth in its present form, with its entire universe will be consumed. Cf. Isaiah 24:19, 20; 34:4.

[SUP]7 [/SUP] For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.

anti christ is at work now, someone is restraining it,

nowhere does it say the Holy spirit is the he restraining

Perhaps it would help if you studied more:

2 Thessalonians 2:7 (NKJV)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.

I did not capitalize the H on HE, the New King James translators did because they understood it to be a REFERENCE TO DEITY.

Let me give you a clearer translation of this verse: "For the mystery of lawlessness doth already work: only he who now hinders will hinder, until he be taken out of the way."
.
"The mystery of lawlessness" had begun to work already in Paul's day, and it continues to work. The Lord Jesus gave a parable in Matthew 13 which reveals the condition of the world today. These are the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, and they explain the condition of the world and of the church in the world today. The Word of God is being sown out in the field of the world, but an enemy has come in and has sown tares. The tares and the wheat are growing together -- the Word of God and lawlessness grow together today. The world is getting worse and, in a sense, the world is getting better, because I think the Word of God is going out more than it ever has in the history of the world. The doors are open -- the Word is growing, the wheat is growing. But the tares are growing also.
.
Lawlessness will continue to get worse and worse, but the Holy Spirit will not let Satan go all the way in this age. When the Holy Spirit will be removed, it will be like taking the stopper out of the bottle -- the liquid of lawlessness will pour out all over the world in that day.
.
When will the Holy Spirit be taken out? He will be taken out with the church. Won't the Holy Spirit be in the world during the Great Tribulation? Yes. Wasn't He in the world before Pentecost? He surely was. He was present in the days of the Old Testament, but He was on a different mission. And He will be on a different mission after the church is removed. Now the Spirit of God is sealing us until the day of redemption when He will present us and deliver us to the Lord Jesus. If He didn't do that, we would never make it. After He does that, I believe He will come back to the earth to resume His former mission down here. But He will not hinder evil -- He will let the Devil have his day for a while. Believe me, I don't want to be on the earth when the Devil has it! It looks bad enough to me as it is today; so I don't want to be here when it is turned over to him.
.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming [2Thess. 2:8].
.
"That Wicked" -- the Antichrist, the Man of Sin -- will be a world dictator. Nobody can stop him. No power on earth -- only the coming of Christ will stop him.
.
Thru The Bible with J. Vernon McGee.
2:7. This verse explains and expands on verse 6. Paul reminded his readers that the secret power of lawlessness was already at work. The "secret power" ([FONT=Gentium !important]mystērion[/FONT], whence "mystery") is one of the mysteries of the New Testament (Rom. 16:26; 1 Cor. 2:6-12; Eph. 1:9; 3:3-5; Col. 1:25-27). A mystery in the New Testament is a new truth previously unknown before its revelation in the present dispensation. In this case the mystery is the revelation of a future climax of lawlessness in the world. Then and now a movement against divine law directed by Satan was and is operative. But it is being restrained somewhat, and this restraining will continue until the time appointed for revealing the man of sin and the climax of lawlessness.
Who or what is restraining the satanically empowered movement against God's law and is postponing the revelation of the man of sin? Some say it is the Roman Empire. But the empire has long vanished and "the holder back" is not yet revealed. Another suggestion is that this is Satan, but it is difficult to see why he would hold back sin. Others suggest that human governments are holding back sin and the revealing of the Antichrist. But human governments will not end prior to the Antichrist's unveiling. Nor do all governments restrain sin; many encourage it!
The Holy Spirit of God is the only Person with sufficient (supernatural) power to do this restraining. Some object to this being the Holy Spirit on the grounds that to katechon in 2 Thessalonians 2:6 is neuter ("what is holding back"). But this is no problem for two reasons: (a) The neuter is sometimes used of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26; 15:26; 16:13-14). (b) In 2 Thessalonians 2:7 the words are masculine: ho katechōn, the one who... holds it back. How does He do it? Through Christians, whom He indwells and through whom He works in society to hold back the swelling tide of lawless living. How will He be taken out of the way? When the church leaves the earth in the Rapture, the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way in the sense that His unique lawlessness-restraining ministry through God's people will be removed (cf. Gen. 6:3). The removal of the Restrainer at the time of the Rapture must obviously precede the day of the Lord. Paul's reasoning is thus a strong argument for the pretribulational Rapture: the Thessalonians were not in the Great Tribulation because the Rapture had not yet occurred.

The Bible Knowledge Commentary: An Exposition of the Scriptures by Dallas Seminary Faculty.
2:7 Even when Paul wrote, the mystery of lawlessness was already at work. By this we understand that a tremendous spirit of disobedience to God was already stirring beneath the surface. It was at work in mystery form—not that it was mysterious but rather that it was not yet fully manifested. It was still in germ form. What has hindered the full display of this spirit? We believe that the presence of the Holy Spirit indwelling the church and indwelling every believer has been the restraining power. He will continue to exercise this function until He is taken out of the way, that is, at the Rapture.
But here an objection is raised. How can the Holy Spirit be removed from the world? As one of the Persons of the Godhead, isn't He omnipresent, that is, everywhere at all times? How then can He leave the world?
Of course, the Holy Spirit is omnipresent. He is always in all places at one and the same time. And yet there was a distinct sense in which He came to the earth on the Day of Pentecost. Jesus had repeatedly promised that He and the Father would send the Spirit (John 14:16, 26; 15:26; 16:7. How then did the Spirit come? He came as the permanent Indweller of the church and of every believer. Until Pentecost the Spirit had been with believers, but since Pentecost He has dwelt in them (John 14:17). Until Pentecost the Spirit was known to depart from believers—hence David's prayer, "Do not take your Holy Spirit from me" (Ps. 51:11b). After Pentecost the Spirit remains forever in believers of the Church Age (John 14:16).
The Holy Spirit will, we believe, leave the world in the same sense in which He came at Pentecost—that is, as the abiding Indweller of the church and of each believer. He will still be in the world, convicting people of sin and leading them to saving faith in Christ. His removal at the Rapture does not mean that no one will be saved during the Tribulation. Of course they will. But these people will not be members of the church, but rather the subjects of Christ's glorious kingdom.

What day is this ?

That is His day of Battle with the Antichrist at His SECOND COMING. Also talked about in Rev. 19. His Appearing in the Air to Call out His Bride to go to the Wedding of the Lamb, happens at least Seven Years earlier than that:

7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Every man woman and child w/o the mark is killed. This alone voids a postrib rapture.
Like you said "then who does Jesus come for"?
They are in heaven during the GT just like Jesus said.....29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

This especially is confusing to try and make "i go and prepare" a postrib event

Where in the bible say that the saints will be 7 years in heaven ?
He is following the Jewish Wedding Traditions, even quoting the correct response to the Bride before He leaves the Brides Old Dwelling Place, and on top of that He promised to keep us from going through the Hour of Testing (His WRATH) that He going to send upon the Whole EARTH. Antichrist signs a Seven Year Peace Treaty with ISRAEL and her Enemies which is the Tribulation, GOD finishes the 70th Week of Daniel fulfilling His promises to Israel, and a Jewish Wedding Ceremony always lasted an entire week in the New Dwelling Place that HAD TO BE BUILT IN HIS FATHER'S HOUSE. Since the so-called Peace Treaty is a WEEK of YEARS, and the 70th Week of Daniel is a Week of Years, and the Wedding Ceremony is a WEEK-long Ceremony in the Father's House, and The Wedding Supper is always held the last evening of the Week-long Ceremony, in the Bride's Old Dwelling Place; I think it is VERY LOGICAL that the Week-long Wedding of the Lamb, is a WEEK OF YEARS ALSO, and that ALL THREE EVENTS ARE THE EXACT SAME WEEK OF YEARS.

possibly because they believe they are special and will escape any hurt or harm by being removed from the earth.
that's delusion however. i can see how believing the bus you've stepped in front of won't run over you might make you joyful as you step to your death.

what you believe is interesting, but no trace of it or anything like exists in the scripture. you were taught it by men who were taught by other men who were taught by men like John Nelson Darby.
Why are those who believe in the Calling Out of the Bride to go to the Wedding of the Lamb, so full of JOY;
WHILE those who Deny it, are so lacking in Joy?
