Well I must say, my Pastor Rob has turned me onto this series and it has had a dramatic affect in my life. I am chosen when I feel that nobody loves me and I am totally alone, In life, people go away, friends disappear and with me turning 64 this year and having multiple health problems my church "The Hillsong church in Chapel Hill NC has truly been there. I got saved at that church, and with God's miracles most of my health problem have gone and I live and treat myself with everything I do now. In reading and understanding Jeremiah, he is asked to find a man, if there is anyone who executes judgment, who seeks the truth, and I will pardon her, though. As they say, as the Lord lives, surely they swear falsely. So what the Lord is telling Jeremiah is to see if you can find one man that does truth, one man that executes judgment or righteousness and if he did find that someone, he would spare her from the judgement and this comes out of the city of Babylonians. You know, this passage reminds me a lot that in the in the city of Sodom and how Abraham's uncle Abraham entered seated for him with the Lord back in Genesis chapter 18 and Abraham went through a series of intercessions with the Lord on behalf of the people in Sodom, and if there is any righteous there that he would spare the city. And finally he comes down to this point in verse 32 of chapter 18. That is 10 should be found there. That is 10 righteous men in the city of Sodom and he said I will not destroy it for the sake of 10. And so the Lord went his way as soon as he had finished speaking with Abraham. And of course the sad part is that there weren't even 10 men there. In Sodom, Peter calls on the righteous man. There was one, even as family members weren't righteous.
Babylon was in control at that time, and it was a situation where if you didn't pay your taxes, they would take your property away from you and the taxes were extremely high. At that time 7000 people owed taxes to the city and the nation had repented and God put Jeremiah to find people that were worthy would be destroyed. To make a long story short, you see how I have evaluated where Jeremiah was.

Still not a fan of this series.
But it does demonstrate the Personhood of the Apostles and Jesus albeit incorrectly.
But the show demonstrates a common issue for most people when trying to understand Jesus.
When people think about Jesus's humanity they often lose sight of his divinity....
And when they focus on Jesus's divinity they lose sight of his humanity.
Because the concept of a God/man is easily understood but the reality is not.
Jesus is God....just like the Holy Spirit is God....just like God the Father is God. There is no difference between any and all. Same God, same attitudes, and same personality.

One God, consisting of these three:
The Father is God
2Pe_1:17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
The Son is God
Psa 78:35 And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.
1Co 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
1Co 10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
1Co 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
Jesus is God because the OT says Israel's Rock was God and Christ was that same Rock.
Holy Spirit is God
Act 5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
Act 5:2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
Act 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Act 5:4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
Here lying to the Holy Spirit is called lying to God.
To believe in the Trinity is to believe these three things are true, that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are each God in their own right and work together as One.
