If you don't hold Scripture as reality, why sow discord amongst those who do.
Facebook is a better place for such talk.
The reality of which Utah spoke was of it's reality in Scripture... which is the Truth which supports reality itself.
If you disagree, then how can we debate you? We express Bible, not philosophy,
and Bible is the only valid data source on this forum.

Why are you assuming I don't know or that I don't agree with what the bible says about it? You are going off on a tangent again. Furthermore, I was saying "it was legal to practice homosexual behavior prior to the decision" NOT legal in the eyes of God. I guess that was over your head...

What did the Supreme Court ruling do other than recognize gay marriage? What else changed legally?

We mutually agree that people would still practice homosexuality regardless of it being recognized or not. The recognition isn't the sin, the act is the sin.

So you would ONLY condone people getting married if they can "conventionally produce a child"? Should a sterile man and/or barren woman be barred from marriage licenses in your opinion?

On a civil level (not in the eye's of God), a couple's ability (or lack thereof) to reproduce should not have any influence on their ability to get married or condoning the marriage. It's kind of a laughable linkage.

What has changed? Sexual perversion has just been approved and made a protected class of citizens by force of law...don't you understand what this means?

LOL. You know what's funny? I initially wrote, "I thank God I'm not omnipotent and omniscient because I couldn't handle the responsibility," but it seemed disrespectful to God. I wish I was wrong, but the hard Truth is, these are God's word's and its God's will. Tribulation isn't only coming to America. You'll see it as well.

Ok saints time to get real, early in my marriage my wife was called away to her brothers bedside where he was slowly being eaten up by aids. Yes it was the product of a life style that took his. He died in her arms. He was married for sometime to his high school sweetheart and had 2children in which he adored. He loved his wife and did the whole family thing right down to "church on sunday'. But he left her he said he could not live a lie any more, despite the fact of seeking counsel from the church and trying very hard to understand why he had these urges, a family was devastated. He gave support to his wife and kids above and beyond what was necessary, he moved away across the US to California to not bring shame to his son and daughter. I knew him and talked with him on many occasions, you would never know he was gay unless you were told. My wife loved her brother and his memory still haunts her to this day. What happened, what went wrong, how can it be fixed. He called her on his death bed and she flew out at his request, he lay in bed a gasping 136 lb man, crying, shaking, nothing like the 200lb man she remembered as her brother with that perfect smile and sense oh humor he teased her with even as they grew up. His last words were sorry. So saints what went wrong , how do we fix it, . The story doesn't stop there on my side of the family I have a niece that is gay. She has 3kids which she and her partner had taking turns artificially insemination style. They have since broken off their relationship with each other and are in different same sex relationships. Only in their late 20s they see to it that the children are provided for hard working and owning there own business, but a lifestyle that is bizarre. They are raising 3girls. So again saints I ask where do we begin? I am a born again believer should I show them the judgement side of God, or the love and forgiveness of Christ, just walk away, be silent. This is what I mean saints we say much in what we believe to be true but when it comes down to it we have to seek the one who knows the heart. There is more to this gay rights thing than just perversion it rips family's apart, it involves the innocent, it devastates the very core of society, it kills, and it is very real, so I ask God what will you have us to do. Just saying.

Jude writes that some should be saved by fear and that we should judge the difference...it appears that some are so reprobate in mind that they are unable to repent? But one thing is for sure. We are never called to approve and promote evil.

I introduced two friends of mine to each other -- a man and a woman. Two years later they were married. Eight years later he came out of the closet, left his wife and leads a very decadent life. She never recovered from the divorce. She's an alcoholic, can't keep a job and looks like ten miles of bad road.

I suppose the argument for SSM is that this scenario won't play out like it did in the past. That's probably true, but other horrors will arise, especially pertaining to children whose parents are the same sex.

Sexual perversion has been approved for quite some time now. Porn is legal, homosexuality is legal, certain areas of the country prostitution is legal... The Supreme Court ruling didn't "approve" homosexuality, it merely made state's recognize gay marriage licenses. With or without the recognition, the people doing it are just as perverse; not more.

The government shouldn't be relied on to be our moral police; they are anything but.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with you, I'm just curious though... Do you think families are exclusively ripped apart by homosexual marriages? Is it foreign to heterosexual marriages?
