The law and the prophets were until John, what does that mean? The law ended and the prophets ceased to prophesy new prohecies. Why? Because from John forward the kingdom of God comes and the prophets PREACH the kingdom.

Yes we are, but we're not like Isaiah, we don't get NEW prophecies, we proclaim their prophecies.

There's no need for new prophecies when the kingdom of God is already here.

In the truest sence of the word, yes. As a kingdom of Priest sent out (apostles) with prophecy the existing word of God they prophesy by delclaring it (the existing word of God) He is not brining any new revelations as prophecy..All beliviers are apostles who bring prophecy making them prophets. If they would add to it , it would make a person a false prophet, false apostle.

I'm sorry, I was talking about the verse in Hosea you posted.

Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God,

David their king in that verse is talking about Jesus and I was saying that David their king (Jesus) came the first time in fulfillment of Hosea 3:5.

The "last days" started when Jesus came the first time... it was the last days of the kingdom being an earthly kingdom, now the kingdom is a spiritual kingdom since Christ came.

The throne is not a literal throne, it represents the SEAT of authority - Kingship over the people of God.

You futurist are waiting for a kingdom to come that's already here. You guys literally fulfill this verse:

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves , neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Notice that Jesus told them "for ye neither GO (present tense) in yourselves". Did you catch that? The kingdom was before them and they WOULD NOT enter.

Also notice that the verse says "neither do you allow them that ARE entering to go in". The scribes and Pharisees were trying their best, just like you guys are trying your best to keep those who are trying to enter in from entering.

The kingom of heaven is here, enter in!
