Burial - Matt 27:57 "as evening approached", Mark 15:42 "It was Preparation Day (The Next day was a high day, an annual Sabbath)
Please explain how you derive the, 'annual Sabbath', from the text below?
John 19:31
Now then, since it was
the day of preparation, to prevent the bodies from remaining on the cross
on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews requested of Pilate that their legs be broken, and the bodies be taken away.
We know that the Sabbath above is a weekly Sabbath because it has a Preparation day.
Further, we also know that the day after that Sabbath in John 19:31, is the first day of the week.
Where you make a serious mistake is in the definition of the Sabbath. God rested on the seventh day!
See if you can follow the simple three day sequence from Luke's Gospel.
Luke 23,24
It was a preparation day, and a Sabbath was about to begin. Now the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how His body was laid. And then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes. And on the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment. But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared.
Your tangled and twisted interpretation directly contradicts Luke's account.
