Any query into the Jewish demographics brings about instantaneous charges of "Pogrom Planning." So, much stays hidden, by design.
Anyway, the problem in answering a question on "who the Jews are" is that they are not one people. They are really not even a people, as we consider people's such as Anglo-Saxons of Europe, the African Negroes, or the Chinese of China. Now those are one people, descended from one main racial tribe.
With the so-called Jews of today this is not so. That is why you can't always tell a Jew by looking at him. But look at a Negro of Africa or a Chinese person of China, and you will have no difficultly identifying him. You might then say that a Black and a White may mix, and you can't always tell them apart; or, that a Chinese and a White may mix and you can't always tell what race they are. But that is exactly my point, when a Black and White mix, their children lose both races and become a new one, in the case of the Black/White they become Mulattos, in the case of the Chinese/White they become what many call Amerasian.
There are more technical terms for these racial divisions, but most research in that field has been quashed, and most older (more honest) studies on race have been censored and suppressed. Today, to study the racial differences in people or the differences in the races; or to even dare mention that the races are different and have different strengths and weaknesses; is tantamount to being a cross-burning racist. No PHD., no aspiring University professor, or hopeful-on-grant-money researcher, having spent 14 years in college to gain his position and esteem, is going to risk his career researching, documenting, and/or writing on topics that have become socially taboo. The truth be damned.
Now, the people of today who call themselves Jews have a long and winding road regarding their racial make-up. Which is exactly why the International Judaics are at the forefront of all efforts to dissolved racial bounds. It is not that they cared for the Negros' plight in the 1960's that they sparked the race riots and the "equality movement." It was just that they were using the Negroes as a surrogate to preserve themselves. They do the same thing with the Homosexual Agenda.
So, to say that a Jew is of, say, this people; and then say that he is of that people, would both be correct. A Jew can be from Japheth, and from Cain, and from Esau, and from the Mongols, and from Ishmael, and from the Canaanites, etc.
If a particular Jewish person is of Esau many generations ago, and then she marries a Kenite; her child is of both Esau and Cain. Do you see my point? And this is why God told the Israelites not to intermarry with the other races in the land. And for the most part, Israel obeyed that. The ones didn't were cast off:

What became of these children? They were not killed, they were driven out of Israel, forever relinquishing the promises of God to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; i.e., to Israel. The ones that did not obey, and who had children by the strange wives, went on to become the ancestors of many of today's so-called Jews.
Now perhaps you can understand why a Jew, truly desirous to be a full Jew, necessarily hates the Anglo-Saxon true Israel people? I think that people can understand that a thing is true if they can find some reason behind it. There is your reason--the Jews want to take the kingdom from the true Israelites. And for moment in time, at the end of time, they shall indeed accomplish this sin. Then Jesus Christ returns in the fury and wrath of God to execute His righteous judgments.
But they didn't stop mixing in the land of Canaan, nor in Assyria, nor in Babylon, nor in Persia, nor in Esau-mixed second-temple-period Judea; they kept right on mixing with everyone as they coursed through Asia, Africa, Russia, Europe properly, and to all the nether regions of this planet; cursed, rejected, from ghetto to ghetto, till they became strong enough to begin dominating this world. And they are very strong. They took the land of Israel in 1948 by intrigue and treachery from the Anglo-Saxon nation of England (who had mandate over it at the time [not the Palestinians, as is commonly and errantly suggested] Search Internet under search terms Balfour Declaration, bearing in mind that the Rothschilds are a powerful bonafide card-carrying Kenite family). Though they do not lie and say that they are something that they are not, and that by merit of being that something that they are not, we must give them this or that, because, "God pledged it to them." This brings further difficulty to our study. One may be a Jew simply because he has accepted the religion of Judaism, regardless of his racial make-up. Yes, Virginia, they have made it hard to exactly identify them, or as to what would even constitute an accurate criteria for such an identification. not sure who wrote that, but the Jewish Communities instruct to only Marry other Jews. So, how this other demographic baloney became or is trying to become a factor seems stupid.

Good point… And why are people trying to put old wine in new wine skins, once one accepts Christ, they are Christian.
Believers in Christ are of one body, these divisions were reprimanded by Paul.
