that doesn't sound like God to have You help them once and just stop. while going through all of this, the bills were paid, food was on the table, shelter over your heads and "all" on your little salary. there's a Miracle! many people squander their Blessing. and with Open Arms, God, takes the Prodigal back. but i do agree, if they're working, they should be helping out. shame on them.
I drained my retirement account, my brother refused to work, my sister squandered every penny, neither of them wanted to pay rent or buy food. I had to work to keep my house. yet you said NOTHING of my siblings

You are assuming I am referring to the flood. That is bad conversation skills. I am not referring to the flood.
It's more effective to address one-thing-at-a-time instead of vomiting our conclusions.
That's why I'm asking you yes/no questions. I'm not asking for explanations; I'm asking whether you believe/reject specific propositions.

So again... Do you affirm or deny that God punished angels for their sexual activity?
The people died in the flood, not the angels Where were the angels punished?

Isn't it about time to leave John B. alone? People who keep engaging him are
part of the problem and seem to be as deprived of good sense as he is.
John B-y is now on permanent ignore. Long overdue.
Why don't you talk to me face to face instead of going around whispering about me? Yeah, you talk about having the Spirit then you
whisper about me behind my back. Does that sound like the Spirit? No, you prefer to hide behind your ignore button like a coward.
A true Christian doesn't whisper about people behind their back. You've just joined the cowards club as far as I'm concerned. Have a nice life.

For some reason, it seems you struggle to just answer without objecting. I'm going to ask you for the fourth time to answer a simple yes/no question:

Did God punish angels for their sexual activity? Just say "Yes" or "No"

I can understand one reason for m being single. In 2006 I became my mother's caregiver. GOD told me to take care of her. I realized if I had gotten married before, there would have been no way for me to take care of her. My own siblings could not or would not take care of her. I was the only one in my family who could.
Why would marriage prevent you from taking care of your mom? I know several couples that have taken in their elderly parents.

They may have had the money, I did not. I was an in home caregiver, unable to work. Don't know of any other family that could that today.,

I was very clear, no they were not punished for their sexual activities. The bible does not say that. The angels were punish for not keeping their first estate.

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. James 1:6

In context:

The angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day, just as Sodom and Gomorrha and the cities about them, in like manner giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, will suffer the vengeance of eternal fire.”

In the days of Noah, these angels sexually sinned just as Sodom and Gomorrah, and they will go to hell for it.
You are incorrect to refer to the sin of angels on earth to justify that activity in heaven.

The angels in heaven do not have sex. There is no sex in heaven.

i only have your word for how you explain your family, and i believe you. a lot of dysfunction seems to be apparent in "Your Family." it could even connect to how your point of view appears to others who have discussed with You here. what was Your Childhood like?

My childhood and family was great. All of the bad things happened right after our mother passed away. Interesting, when GOD told me to take care of my mother, he also told me my family would not help me. I was really shocked by their reactions. Reminded me of Jesus words....."a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ ,,,Matt 10:36

Do what GOD asks you to do and those closest to you could bring out the knives.

Jude 1:7. Third example: the judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them, which, however, is not co-ordinate with the preceding two, but is closely connected with the last-mentioned, “whilst here both times a permanent condition is meant, which a similar sin has had as its consequence,

So the fallen angels suddenly had sexual desires after then fell?

Don't just read the verses, read some commentaries on the verses. You get a better understanding about the verses.

1. You are using a less reliable commentary (from the pre- Dead Sea Scrolls era).
2. Commentaries don't carry authority or settle the matter. Many commentaries say the exact opposite of the one you quoted.

The passage literally compares the angels to the sinful cities, saying their sin was sexual. (I can show you a Greek grammatical chart of the verse to prove it).

So the fallen angels suddenly had sexual desires after then fell?
The Bible doesn't specify how long it took. But we know this: Fornication was not their first sin. Their first sin was rebellion. Just as the rest of the Bible describes...the desire and activity of sexual sin is the fruit of a rebellious heart. They fornicated because they were rebellious at heart. That is why they are going to hell.

Van Ruiten calls the intercourse between the “sons of God” and the “daughters of men” natural,14 and indeed the text itself does not condemn it despite later interpretations of the text that link the union between angels and humans to the flood that comes later in Gen 6.15 I disagree strongly with Sullivan’s statement that “the angels’ descent to earth was a transgression of the natural order that represented a significant problem” because the text itself holds no such condemnations.16 This contrasts with the unions between angels and humans in Jubilees 5:1-2 which produced giants that caused the corruption of all flesh. The interpretation of the term Nephilim is very important for determining how the biblical author regarded the union between angels and humans

There are also the times I've been told by friends, I dodged a bullet. The woman I was interested in is now in major fights with the guy she chose over me. Last time I talked to a friend about her (20 years later), I was told the both of them were in a 20 year fight. A friend told me, the 20 years of fighting with her boyfriend took a toll on her and she is now ugly, from the stress.

My friend had both her dad and mom living with her, after her mom had a stroke that left her unable to function by herself. My friend's husband works but she stayed home and, with the help of her dad, took care of her mom. I think they had her dad and mom's finances to lean on a bit, too.

Definitely a hard thing to do. I guess I was just thinking a wife, during that time, could have been a help and not a burden to you.

I did not have any family to help me. My siblings did almost nothing. I don't know if a wife would have helped.

Sounds like God was looking out for you with that one. Hopefully He will bring someone into your life soon.
