first i dont think its christians rebuilding da temple we dont need animal sacrifices. but da reason its going to be rebuilt is bcuz tha antichrist needs to make a contract with israel and set himself up there as god. so to all of you asking why da temple after Jesus da answer is simple: to fulfill that which was written.
Think Again. What was the TEMPLE'S Primary Purpose, that even the JEWS overlooked, and yes it is important to fulfill what has been written; but there is a more important Purpose:

Luke 19:45-46 (HCSB)
[SUP]45 [/SUP] He went into the temple complex and began to throw out those who were selling,
[SUP]46 [/SUP] and He said, “It is written, My house will be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves!”

Think about this, if Israel rebuilds the TEMPLE, and we BORN AGAIN Christians, began to Pilgrimage to that TEMPLE to PRAY in the COURT of the Gentiles, and then WE who are Part of the BRIDE get called out to go to the Wedding of the LAMB.

What effect would that have on all of the lost Children of ISRAEL?

Romans 11:23-26 (NCV)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] And if the Jews will believe in God again, he will accept them back.
God is able to put them back where they were.
[SUP]24 [/SUP] It is not natural for a wild branch to be part of a good tree.
And you who are not Jews are like a branch cut from a wild olive tree and joined
to a good olive tree. But since those Jews are like a branch that grew from the
good tree, surely they can be joined to their own tree again.
[SUP]25 [/SUP] I want you to understand this secret, brothers and sisters,
so you will understand that you do not know everything:
Part of Israel has been made stubborn, but that
will change when many who are not Jews have come to God.

[SUP]26 [/SUP] And that is how all Israel will be saved.
It is written in the Scriptures: “The Savior will come from Jerusalem;
he will take away all evil from the family of Jacob.

I BELIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT JUST GAVE ME THAT UNDERSTANDING!

Psalm 121:4 (ASV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] Behold, he that keepeth Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.

[video=youtube;mRoXRm9F91c]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRoXRm9F91c[/video]

Psalm 105:8-11 (HCSB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] He remembers His covenant forever, the promise He ordained for a thousand generations
[SUP]9 [/SUP] ⌊the covenant⌋ He made with Abraham, swore to Isaac,
[SUP]10 [/SUP] and confirmed to Jacob as a decree and to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
[SUP]11 [/SUP] “I will give the land of Canaan to you
as your inherited portion.

Psalm 103:7-12 (HCSB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] He revealed His ways to Moses, His deeds to the people of Israel.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and rich in faithful love.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] He will not always accuse ⌊us⌋ or be angry forever.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve or repaid us according to our offenses.
[SUP]11 [/SUP] For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His faithful love toward those who fear Him.
[SUP]12 [/SUP] As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Jeremiah 3:12 (CSBBible)

[SUP]12 [/SUP] Go, proclaim these words to the north, and say,

'Return, unfaithful Israel'.

This is the LORD's declaration.

I will not look on you with anger,

for I am unfailing in my love.

This is the LORD's declaration.

I will not be angry forever.

Genesis 12:2-3 (HCSB)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] I will make you into a great nation, I will bless you, I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] I will bless those who bless you, I will curse those who treat you with contempt, and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

2 Chronicles 9:8 (NCV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] Praise the LORD your God who was pleased to make you king. He has put you on his throne to rule for the LORD your God, because your God loves the people of Israel and supports them forever. He has made you king over them to keep justice and to rule fairly.“

Isaiah 5:7 (NCV)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] The vineyard belonging to the LORD All-Powerful is the nation of Israel; the garden that he loves is the people of Judah. He looked for justice, but there was only killing. He hoped for right living, but there were only cries of pain.

Zechariah 1:14-17 (NCV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] Then the angel who was talking to me said to me, “Announce this: This is what the LORD All-Powerful says: ’I have a strong love for Jerusalem.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] And I am very angry with the nations that feel so safe. I was only a little angry at them, but they made things worse.’
[SUP]16 [/SUP] “So this is what the LORD says: ’I will return to Jerusalem with mercy. My Temple will be rebuilt,’ says the LORD All-Powerful, ’and the measuring line will be used to rebuild Jerusalem.’
[SUP]17 [/SUP] “Also announce: This is what the LORD All-Powerful says: ’My towns will be rich again. The LORD will comfort Jerusalem again, and I will again choose Jerusalem.’ “
Sometimes I wonder if you have also the New Testament in your Bible...

It seems to me you are still reading the beginnings without the conclusion. But the conclusion is already written too.

I am not sure why you are so fascinated by the beginnings and why do you still return to them again and again.

Have you tested 90% of Israel..... Rem, they called for potential priest by ancient names and DNA tested them for the tribe of Levi. There were no problems. They are this time are being trained for service in the temple.....

These non-jew sons of Abram are Kind of like the so-called lost tribes of Israel. The Northern and Southern countries each contained all tribes so there were no lost tribes....

As you see, Satan will do anything to keep his appointment with God from happening.

In 2001, Dr. Ariella Oppenheim, a biologist at Hebrew University, published the first extensive study of DNA and the origin of the Jews. Her research found that virtually all the Jews came from Khazar blood. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1274378/

She also confirmed that the Palestinians — the very people whom the Jews have been persecuting since 1948 — had more Israelite blood than did the Jews.

Dr. Eran Elhaik and associates at the McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, proved through DNA science today’s Jews are not related to Abraham, but they descended from the Khazars.

Here is what Dr Oppenheim says:

It is believed that the majority of contemporary Jews descended from the ancient Israelites that had lived in the historic land of Israel until ∼2000 years ago. Many of the Jewish diaspora communities were separated from each other for hundreds of years. Therefore, some divergence due to genetic drift and/or admixture could be expected. However, although Ashkenazi Jews were found to differ slightly from Sephardic and Kurdish Jews, it is noteworthy that there is, overall, a high degree of genetic affinity among the three Jewish communities. Moreover, neither Ashkenazi nor Sephardic Jews cluster adjacent to their former host populations, a finding that argues against substantial admixture of males. These findings are in accordance with those described by Hammer et al. (2000).

Dr Elhaik says,[h=2]Conclusions[/h]We compared two genetic models for European Jewish ancestry depicting a mixed Khazarian–European–Middle Eastern and sole Middle Eastern origins. Contemporary populations were used as surrogates to the ancient Khazars and Judeans, and their relatedness to European Jews was compared over a comprehensive set of genetic analyses. Our findings support the Khazarian hypothesis depicting a large Near Eastern–Caucasus ancestry along with Southern European, Middle Eastern, and Eastern European ancestries, in agreement with recent studies and oral and written traditions.

The point is that few of those in Palestine are natural Israelites, not that there are none in the world.

As for Israel existing, WE ARE ISRAEL.

Let me guess

The historicist needs Israel and it's Jewish inhabitants erased due to the unfolding of both, right before our eyes. IOW, the historicist bets that it all happened around ad70. So the nation and it's people need to be excluded.

Two things. The 144k are a future dynamic. They are here now.

The other is,I suspect those "scientific" studies trace Arabs back to Abraham with great alacrity.

Are you blind?

I LOVE GOD, THEREFORE I LOVE THE CITY, THE NATION, and THE PEOPLE THAT GOD LOVES.

WHERE IS YOUR LOVE?

2 Chronicles 9:8 (NCV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] Praise the LORD your God who was pleased to make you king. He has put you on his throne to rule for the LORD your God, because your God loves the people of Israel and supports them forever. He has made you king over them to keep justice and to rule fairly.“

[SUP]3 [/SUP] I will bless those who bless you, I will curse those who treat you with contempt, and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

Romans 11:25-27 (ASV)
[SUP]25 [/SUP] For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant of this mystery, lest ye be wise in your own conceits, that a hardening in part hath befallen Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in;
[SUP]26 [/SUP] and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
[SUP]27 [/SUP] And this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins.

I expect to see that Scripture fulfilled during this generation.

While you seem to be content to remain "ignorant of this mystery" and "wise in your own conceits".

What does HE mean by ignorant of this mystery, lest ye be wise in your own conceits ?

A modern Translation puts it this way:

Romans 11:25 (NCV)
[SUP]25 [/SUP] I want you to understand this secret, brothers and sisters, so you will understand that you do not know everything: Part of Israel has been made stubborn, but that will change when many who are not Jews have come to God.

GOD's LOVE is ETERNAL.

GOD's Primary Purpose for the TEMPLE is ETERNAL

Matthew 21:13 (CSBBible)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] He said to them, "It is written, my house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of thieves!?"

HE DID NOT SAY "IS", therefore JESUS HIMSELF makes it an everylasting TITLE, the ongoing primary purpose for the TEMPLE. AND NOTICE EVEN GOD DOES NOT CONSIDER GENTILES TO BE ISRAELITES.

Show that promise.
if u dont know this basic bible teachings u got no business teaching the bible no wonder u are confused about the temple topic.

Jer 31:35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
Jer 31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
Jer 31:37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
Jer 31:38 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
Jer 31:39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
Jer 31:40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

why cant u people just believe the bible? many times ive seen some of these "professional" bible scholars read something about israel in da old testament and they always say "this represents gospel and da church doing this and that" but the verses dont say that at all, they just make it up because they hate israel. too bad because Jesus was a jew.

But Israel continued through the disciples as His congregation, and many Jews joined with them, and the believing gentiles were made One nation with them. Together they form the TRUE Israel.

The Jewish temple was not eternal.

Also, do you realize that Jesus quoted Scripture? The Scripture is from the past, so "will be" is a past for us. It is not a present saying.
