Actually, I would like to see your calculations that show a 32AD crucifixion...

Artaxerxes Longimanus decree was in 457BC, when we add 483 years we come to 27AD. With a 3-1/2 year ministry, Christ is then crucified in 31AD.

Actually, there are four decrees but the only one that falls within the correct time frame is the third one.
Okay, okay. I went out on the web and found such a calculation, probabaly appearing many times on the web.

OK, this topic has likely been discussed before but it seems to be splattered through many existing thread now. Let's confine the discussion here to when Christ was crucified, how long He was in the grave, when He was resurrected and does it matter.
Three days and three nights equal three days and three nights about 72 hours what more can one say. OH this is what one can also say I think it was Jesus who said a day is 8 hours.

Wednesday evening to Saturday evening and I can not think of a need for more on the subject.

Mac4Yuma,

re: "...I think it was Jesus who said a day is 8 hours."

Actually, He said it was 12 hours. (John 11:9)
