You're right, we are told to take note of the fruit people produce.

But no Church nor any Christian is perfect.
Belief in Jesus and repentance of sins doesn't make you perfect, it means that you will not be judged on your sins.

We can throw the mud at Westboro for being hyper-calvinist, or for protesting.
Similarly, they may throw the mud in the opposite direction because other Churches have become more accepting of behaviours that the Bible defines as sin.

I'm simply asking whether Westboro have a point...
Ask yourself if that's the kind of person you wish to be. Ask if that kind of person points others to Jesus of just drives them from His presence.

Jesus had compassion on sinners. Jesus was short with the religious leaders but longsuffering with the common folks.

If you want to be associated with the violent nature of Westboro types help yourself. Then you might do well to ask if that style of witness would have brought you closer to Christ or simply made Jesus so repugnant that you would stay miles away.

No

i am talking about doing what Westbpro is doing

which is not in scripture.. they are judging people

you can warn people about being a sinner, with out judging them for a personal sin

and stop telling me to read my Bible, it arrogant

there I am warning you about one of your sins. How does it feel?
See, we're going round in circles.

Westboro would argue that they're not judging people, but warning them of their sins.

Do you not think you should read your Bible?

Pardon, what sin are you warning me of?

Can you post where a Paul commands this to the body of Christ? Paul commands this amongst the brethren, but not the lost.
So you're saying that we need Paul to have said it for it to be true?

What about the other verses I provided a link to, are they wrong?

Westboro would argue that they're not judging people, but warning them of their sins.
And they would be wrong. Which it seems everyone here agrees with but you.

Do you not think you should read your Bible?
I been reading my bible for 40 years, But that is beside the point

Pardon, what sin are you warning me of?
pride and arrogance.. Telling me I need to read my bible because I do not know what it says

If you're going to assert that Westboro is wrong, and that warning people of their sins is the same as judging them, please provide evidence.

I been reading my bible for 40 years, But that is beside the point

pride and arrogance.. Telling me I need to read my bible because I do not know what it says

I see, so you're offended that I advised you to read your Bible because I believe you to be incorrect?
Advising you to read your Bible, which every Christian should do, is neither prideful nor arrogant.

I am sorry you feel offended by being asked to read your Bible!

I haven't been given any proof at all.
Please provide the post numbers in which I was given evidence that warning people against their sins is the same as judging people on their sins.

On the other hand I have provided plenty of proof to the contrary but you won't read your Bible!

I've repeatedly provided links, e.g:
https://www.openbible.info/topics/confronting_sins

EDIT: no I'm not a member of Westboro, I'm simply asking about them.
Pointing out the holes in your Biblical knowledge should not be confused with being a member of a particular Church

1. I told you before. If you want to post scripture. Post it.. I am not going to a website, If you can't show us, then it must not be very important
2. We have shown you multiple times. not to judge people of personal sin who are not of the body of Christ. Even in the OT, When jonah went to ninevah, He called for them to repent. He did not judge each persons personal sins. So even there. You have no evidence
3. Once again, Stop telling me to read my bible Instead, You read your bible. and stop following them men like the ones who wrote what ever link you keep posting
4. You have not poked holes in anything, once again your arrogance of thinking you are right comes through

Your just like the Westboro people. Who are just like the pharisees.

You have no problem calling people (judging) for sin, but yu refuse to acknowledge your own sin.

and by the way, the reason I asked you. Is you are the ONLY one here supporting westboro.. so there must be a reason

Yes, I agree we shouldn't judge people.

But don't confuse judging people with the "lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and tell people of their transgressions..."

You haven't told me anything, you've just continued to conflate judging people with warning them against their sin.
Judging people is not Biblical.
Warning people against their sin is (https://www.openbible.info/topics/confronting_sins)

If you can't be bothered to click on a link and look at several verses that supports what I'm saying, then shame on you.

I'm not going around in circles with you any longer.

Paul is the spokesman to the NT Church, the body of Christ.

Judging people is not Biblical.
Like I said earlier, Your discernment of what people are saying is lacking

All you do is continue to prove your not listening to a word I say
Yawn.. once again, Read your bible

As long as you continue to make accusations. Your going around in circles.

I can not quote the passages in that link so I am not going to take the time to look at it

If you can not take the time to copy and paste the verses or whatever is there. then do not expect us to take the time to copy and paste to explain what we see as either right or wrong.

Paul is the spokesman to the NT Church, the body of Christ.
He is trying to equate the prophet declaring to the people of God their sins, With God telling us to go into the world and declare to the world all their personal sins.

Jesus told us to go make disciples.

Not go judge particular sinners of their sin
