judgement in the Bible is GOD's judgement of our lives as we have lived it, judgement on earth is our own personal view of an individual/s who we have met, based on their looks, dress standards, colour, & race, we then move on to education, body difference's, stature in life, & finally our own belief's and truth's that we hold,... As Christian's the only judgement we should be worried about is.... GOD's,... the rest do not factor in because we are to take people on face value, and with the humbleness that Jesus teach's, we let them determine how much to share with us or reveal their true identity of personality, which in turn lead's to real fellowship with brother's and sister's in Christ or a turning away from a situation or person/s who may challenge our commitment to being a Christian (a follower of Christ), the only downside? we have to be constantly attached to Jesus in order to maintain dominance over our judgemental trait's. God blesses all.

There is no mistake in my exegesis.

Hebrews 8:7 For if the first covenant had been faultless there would have been no occasion to look for a second.

Hebrews 8:13a In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete.
Your Exegesis is demonstrated as errant yet again.

In scripture the covenant is an agreement between God and humanity. It is not the same as the Law. Because God's legislation, law, is his instruction regarding our right conduct. That is different than legislation, making laws.

The new agreement between God and humanity, the new covenant, reflects the changes in terms that make for a new agreement, covenant. It does not change God's legislation, law.

This is why Jesus, who was God, God being the Holy Spirit, said he did not come to abolish the (his) law.

He did come to make a new agreement with humanity.

The old covenant, having been fulfilled by Christ, is obsolete. That covenant included the Law as given through Moses to Israel.

The new covenant in Christ's blood is now in effect. Those of us who are in Christ are in the new covenant, not the old.

the old covenant was the law written on stone, the new covenant is the law written in the heart and the mind of a true Christian.

faith is the belief that GOD is the creator, and Jesus Christ is his son and our saviour, that all we read in the Bible is true and we can have everlasting life from that faith: The covenant is the agreement/contract from GOD to us, that we sign by the life we live, in accordance to his scriptures, the teachings of Jesus, and how closely we imitate/copy Christ's life in our's.

I've noticed your rhetoric when defending your Exegesis is limited and repetitive.
I'll leave it here. You don't display an open heart or mind to receive right teaching, and you're not qualified to provide right teaching.
Therefore, it is no longer proper to engage your efforts. Best to just insure you aren't allowed to continue when challenging others beliefs, or those seeking guidance, uncontested.

To God be the glory.

what I think about work's is, "faith without works is dead," having faith in GOD and Christ, mean's we have a certain way of life we must adhere to, there are life changing experience's that we learn to adapt with to remain on the path of righteousness. We go to church to praise and worship GOD, to learn from Christ, and study with our brother's and sister;s, the scripture's, we are to be humble, kind, loving and forgiving, we are to help those in need, who cross our path, and we are to do all this without exception, without prejudice and without personal ideologies, if your forcing yourself to do anything in the name of Christ, that is work's, if it all come's without thought or wholeheartedly, that's faith: in GOD, in Christ and the Holy Spirit to direct your life.

It seems to me that when people try to mix up the word into words to gentiles and words to Jews instead of listening to the word as simply truth, they do not really hear from God.

God created a race that listened to Him, God created the Hebrews. But to this day, people are saying we are not to listen to what God told the Hebrews, it was ONLY for them. To back up this statement that man gives, God gave them literal helps to learn His ways like cutting skin to help them set themselves apart from the world of the flesh, and then gave them the holy spirit to help them instead. Man accepts the holy spirit without this Jew/gentile thing they have created, but hang on to the Jew/gentile idea of God before pentecost.
Yet God gave the law to them. Not to you and I. (unless your a jew)

it seems to me that those who want to push jewish law onto Gentile believers. When God never did. Have issues of self righteousness. They want to go to God and say look at me, I kept your law

Forgetting that God is going to look back and explain to you all the times you BROKE his law. And fully explain to you the gospel and why he had to come. And he had something better for you. But you wanted to keep going back to the old way. Which you could never do.

If this happens. You will not like the outcome

It is so very good that you listen to what the Lord tells us about the law, up to a certain point, but it is not good that you stop reading scripture after you learn the parts you will read.

Romans 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Nope. I read them, I studied them, and I understand tham

I pray one day YOU understand tham. Because you keep telling me I stop reading the Bible in certain spots. Yet you do that very thing

You can’t take galations 3 and start adding scripture to it. It makes Galatians 3 (plus James words and Moses words) contradict themselves. I mean we might as well throw the Bible out with your understanding. Because it can’t be trusted

I've met these type people so, don't underestimate the presence of Antisemitism that insists on that divisive language and (lack of) understanding.

An ex-con rewrote the new testament to fit that ideology. A white supremacists who started and redefined the teachings themselves into Christogenia.
Your pushing it with your slanderous remarks maam.

I have said nothing about good deeds, and I'm not acting in pride and ego.
Amen,

They come in pumping their chest like the pharisee and how good they are. And glad they are not like us sinners.

Yet they forget. THE SINNER WENT HOME JUSTIFIED. Not them

Jesus is the holy spirit of the holy spiritual law.

The letter of the law never really was meant to be taken as such.

This is why Jesus and his Disciples angered the letter bound Pharisees so much. As when Jesus and his followers worked on the Sabbath.
Jesus was a revolutionary.
He was put here to put things right-eous.
Jesus is the HS?

Wow.

Not sure if I am going to stay on this Forum site for very long....

Is it just me, or do most of these threads end up in arguments and not really accomplishing anything positive?

I hope to find some more uplifting content soon. I will keep searching! =)
Sadly we have a few people that like to slander others to try to get their views shown, and are so proud when they start getting confronted they go into attack mode.

sometimes it is best just to ignore them and speak your peace.

We disagree. You say God speaks exclusively to one group of people, I say God speaks only truth. So let it be, for goodness sakes. There is truth that is above what either you or I say, let the truth stand. It doesn't need either your or my comments on it.
He did speak the truth

He spoke it when he spoke to moses and made him write cursed is the one who does not confirm and obey every word of this law.

And all the people shall say amen in agreement.

That was Gods covenant between himself and them according to the law

ONE SIN is all it took, and they were cursed.

You do not know the very law. You should not keep trying to push the law which you do not understand

Pride and arrogance.
Many here have stepped up. And you and one like you work to kick their legs out. Someone who thinks Jesus is not the Holy Spirit, yet is ignorant enough to tell those in Christ to not bother to inform others they're wrong, is precisely where God wants, so as to serve as a warning and our next lesson in this journey.
1st. Could you please learn how to properly quote?

And if you want to talk about pride. You need to look in the mirror.

Jesus is not the HS. Anyone who reads the words of scripture would know this

Jesus said I must leave so I can send the helper. Ths Hs

he said he did nothing unless the HS empowered him to do it

He said we could blaspheme him and it will be forgive, But blasphemy of the HS would never be forgiven.

Ma’am, you should rethink your position because it is wrong.

In every busy Christian forum you'll find adversaries to the true spirit if the Gospel. The motives vary as to why worldly conflict stirrers join.

There is also the ignore feature if it gets too much for you.

See, if you leave due to the conflict, well, that's what lovers of conflict want. That's why they berate the truth of God as Christ.

And, there's another thing to consider. If you can't face the foot soldiers of the adversary in an anonymous form in print on the net, how are you going to handle it face to face?

In the end of days, they lose. Which means they're blasting hot air while there is still time.

Stick around. God's army doesn't run. We don't flee the field of battle wherever it may appear.
If you leave you give the enemy a reward for their efforts.
One last Christian to deal with.
Talk about pride.

Your the problem maam. Not the solution

"judging others is not your territory. take care of the tree in your own eye"
How could you see that for the oak in yours?
Your hypocrisy is self defeating.

You can't even read Blik's OP for what it actually says.

You just charge against her. It appears it's as something personal.
And the hypocrisy flows like rivers of living waters

Where do you get the idea that, just because God gave the Law to the Jews, that we shouldn't be reading it? I haven't said or hinted at anything of the sort. What I do say is that we as Christians are not subject to the Law as given to Israel through Moses. Read it all you like, but remember that Christians are not subject to it! Our relationship with God is through Christ, not through obedience to the Law.

You have a strange way of re-interpreting my words. I said that God gave the Law to the Jews (Hebrews), not to the gentiles; I have said nothing remotely like, "we aren't included". I also said nothing remotely like 'now we are included in the Holy Spirit".
Its amazing how they continue to prove they never really read what we say.

I would love for them to go show where one person said we should read read or study the law.

they wont find it
