First of all, faith is a choice to believe all that the scriptures say. It begins when you hear the word, and choose to believe it. Then as you begin to act and speak as if it is true (even though you do not feel it), you will find a strengthening of your faith. It seems to become different than the faith you began with. Then your faith becomes "I know that I know", and there is no more doubt. And that is never easy to explain to the one who has not reached that place.
