I know it is not just a simply as a book.
Anybody could elaborate more on what is a bible?
The Bible is the original collection of 66 books of the Christian canon in their original languages as first recorded. We have many different bibles today. A bible is a translation of either the Received Texts or aberrant texts. A bible is God's word only in so far as it accurately convey the meaning of original autographs that make up The Bible,

The Bible is a DIVINE REVELATION from the one true God to all of humanity.

This is what I read today.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same YESTERDAY, TODAY, and FOREVER.

How could that be the same in our times where Jesus is not existing in the earth anymore?
Unlike in New Testament; they had Jesus and people can SEE, TOUCH (feel) and HEAR Jesus.

Is this a DIVINE REVELATION?
I read the following:

Revelation 19:13
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called THE WORD OF GOD (Referring to Jesus)

Hebrew 10:7 ------------ Jesus said
Then said I, Lo, I come (IN THE VOLUME OF THE BOOK IT IS WRITTEN TO ME,) to do thy will, O God.

In our times, there is only 1 BOOK where written THE WORD OF GOD which is The Holy Bible.
The Holy Bible can be SEEN, TOUCHED (feel) and HEARED (while we read it)

Again, Is this a DIVINE REVELATION?
In the New Testament they had Jesus while in our times we have the bible.
HOLY BIBLE = JESUS CHRIST (The Jesus Christ Yesterday is the same to Jesus Christ Today Hebrew 13:8)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Since The Holy Bible in The New Testament (where Jesus is written) is the equivalent of Jesus in our times therefore we can ask Jesus and he will answer us through the holy bible.

I tried to ask Jesus.
WHERE IS THE ONE TRUE GOD?

Is this a Divine Revelation?
I read this, when John became a spirit, he saw 1 Throne in heaven where the One True God seated.

Revelation 4:2
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, A THRONE was set in heaven, and ONE SAT on the throne.

Then I asked again,
The people in the Old Testament they can talk with The One True God. How come we can't talk with him in our times like in the Old Testament?

Is this a Divine Revelation?
I was amazed with what I read.

Ecclesiastes 1:9
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is NO NEW THING under the sun.

Is this mean even in our times we can talk with The One True God same in the Old Testament?

Then I keep on asking:
Where is The One True God in our times so we can talk to him same in the Old Testament?

Is this a Divine Revelation?
I got surprise with what I read again.

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the WORD WAS GOD.

Because of what is written THE WORD WAS GOD.

Why I began to understand that the equivalent of The One True God in our times is the word of God in The Old Testament.

If Jesus is the WORD OF GOD in the New Testament and The True One God is the WORD OF GOD in The Old Testament.

Now we can both talk and ask to them and they will answer through the Word of God written in the holy bible. Which is A Divine Revelation.

With respect, your theology needs some refinement. Jesus is not the new testament, nor vice-versa. The New Testament did not suffer under Pontius Pilate, die on a cross, or be raised again on the third day. Jesus is the Word (see John 1), but the new testament is the literal word of God (see 2 Timothy 3:16). Don't conflate them.

Further, the Holy Spirit speaks to us directly and through the Scriptures. You can certainly ask Jesus any question that intrigues you, and you can look forward to receiving an answer, but it may not come in the way you expect.

If Jesus is the WORD OF GOD in the New Testament and The True One God is the WORD OF GOD in The Old Testament.
That's not quite correct. Jesus was the Word prior to the new testament. He hasn't changed. The point of the message John penned is that this Word of God is God, the God Who created the entire universe. Jesus is, Himself, God. He is God in the old testament as well as in the new testament.

Now we can both talk and ask to them and they will answer through the Word of God written in the holy bible. Which is A Divine Revelation.
Scripture is indeed divine revelation, but God does not speak exclusively through the Bible. God speaks to His children as any good father does. He has opened the way for communication with Himself through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection; we can converse with God because of what Jesus has done... and time or place, with or without a Bible in hand.

The word 'bible' means 'a collection of books'. The Christian Bible is called The holy Bible, because the 66 collection of books there contains the words of a holy God. Therefore the collection of books is holy. And therefore it is called The 'holy Bible'.
But any collection of books that have been put together into one volume is a Bible.

Now I understand why there are more than 45,000 of denomination in Christianity today. Despite they only read 1 book but they always come up with different doctrines.
It is because, in order to understand the meaning of the word of God written in The Holy Bible, it requires a Divine Revelation.
A Divine Revelation means coming from God.

When I read this verse, and I used my own understanding, then I keep on reading my bible but I did not find any verse that the devil murders or kills people.

JOHN 8:44
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was A MURDERER from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
Yes, I did not read any verse that Devil is killing.
Instead what I read is The One True God is the killer.

GENESIS 6:17
And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

Also same on what I read in this verse.

GENESIS 19:24
Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;

Now I realized how important to converse with The One True God and to Jesus.
I'm sure they can explain very well why The Devil is the murderer and not The One True God.

Therefore using own intellect could not understand the real meaning for what is written in the Bible.

It is by Divine Revelation only.

If we took CS Lewis book mere Christianity, and doctors Dobson's book the strong-willed child. And Josh McDowell's book evidence that demands a verdict. And a couple of other books. And United them together in one volume. We would have a Bible. Because we would have a collection of books that we have joined together in one volume.
The holy Bible. Is a collection of 66 books, written by about 40 authors. Over a period of 1,600 years. It is holy because it conveys God's holy message to mankind.

I dare say that nobody today would call a collection of other books in one volume a bible. It would be called an anthology. Or Sammelbands.

Why John did not mention where you are when he saw 1 Throne in heaven?

When I read this verses as if Jesus brought me back in the New Testament and became one of the listeners.

This is when Jesus mentioned the first of all the commandments.

MARK 12:29-30
28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, WHICH IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT OF ALL?

29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, HEAR, O ISRAEL; THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD:

30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

If I will use my own intellect to understand the first commandment mentioned by Jesus (Hear O Israel; The Lord our God is One Lord), it is never be a commandment.

But when I read this verse, where the God talking in the Old Testament is The One True God, it is very clear to me that the first commandment is To Know The One True God or to identify him first before we can learn to love him.
And I agree, how can I love God if I don't know his identity?

DEUTORONOMY 6:4-6

4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart

Bible is a DIVINE REVELATION from the ONE TRUE GOD to all of humanity.

So, Bible is Sacred & Holy. There are hidden mysteries in it.
Now it is beginning to understand, that is why there are more than 45,000 denomination in Christianity today despite they only reading and studying (5 to 10 years) 1 book only which is the Holy Bible. And they have the different doctrines. Each group is saying they are the true followers of Jesus Christ.

Now I understand, to read and study the bible, it requires a DIVINE REVELATION from the ONE TRUE GOD.

I will read more so I can share in here what God is saying how to have a divine revelation.
Perhaps there is a certain quality of man to posses before the One True God will send a Divine Revelation.
we would rather have 45, 000 denominations disagreeing in many things but UNITED in the fundamental doctrines concerning salvation by grace alone through faith not of ourselves

Than have one conglomerate universal church teaching lies.

I'm afraid that doesn't quite equate ... you can have the bible but not have Christ, many do.

Christ is God, the very same, having humbled Himself to take on flesh in order to show us His mercy, and redeem us, if we would believe.

Yes, even in Jesus times. In their community they have Jesus but not the Christ.
Same on Jesus friends. They have Jesus but not the Christ.

This is 1 of the examples that they have Jesus but not the Christ.

MATTHEW 12:46-50
46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.

47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Today, we can have the Bible but without The Divine Revelation, we can't have the Christ.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If according to Jesus, the first of all the commandment is To Know The One True God.
Then I ask him again.
Do you know The One Thru God?

Is this a Divine Revelation:
I read this verse as an answer of Jesus, implying to the Jews how important to Know The One True God and they must obey the 1st commandment.

John 8:54-55
54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:

55 Yet ye have NOT KNOWN HIM; but I KNOW HIM: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

Since The One True God or God The Father is the one talking in the Old Testament.
I tried to ask God The Father.
How important To Know The One True God as Jesus stated in John 8:54-55?

Is this a Divine Revelation?
I read this verse as an answer of God The Father of his very loving promised.
Whoever obey the first commandment (To Know The One True God) his/her sins will be forgiven.

JEREMIAH 31:34
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, KNOW the Lord: for they shall all KNOW ME, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Since it is important to obey the first commandment, that is why even Jesus revealed it to Apostle Paul, what God The Father said:
Then Paul wrote it.

HEBREW 8:11-12
None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more

The Bible tells a story of obedience and disobedience.

The Bible is also a book full of wisdom,It includes
1.science
2.philosophy
3.thought

But in the end, the Bible is all about life, not sin.
