Scripture please: Book, chapter and verse.
I understand full of grace to mean that she was entirely sanctified and l would expect nothing less in the caretaker of the Son of God. Not a catholic BTW.

It gets so weird trying to discuss the bible with those that have been taught

reason with them in the truth of scripture. Im mean there is nothing more
unbiblical than these doctrines about mary..yet they cling to them as fact...
Its hard to understand?
John Q. and Jane Doe pew warmer are taught to believe that the Bible
means what Rome says it means; rather than to believe what the Bible
actually says in writing.

CCC 85 . .The task of giving an authentic interpretation of the Word of God,
whether in its written form or in the form of Tradition, has been entrusted to
the living teaching office of the Church alone.

Note the word "Tradition" in CCC 85. It's there because the Church does not

I think not..... Archbishop Lucas Sirkar of Calcutta said it best: "Those who are questioning the faith of the Mother have no idea of what is spiritual life. The more you move forward in the path to saintliness or holiness, the more you have to struggle against that which is not holy." And then we have Sister Nirmala, Mother Teresa's successor and superior general of the Missionaries of Charity, added that what Mother Teresa went through is "A trial few souls go through. The light is so strong and the human capacity is so less. What happens when you look at the blazing sun? You are blinded. It’s like that."

This is were I suggest you go back and take a long hard read on my last sentence of post #99.

Whether it’s like an eclipse or being blinded, many devout and saintly people feel God has deserted them. The ancient Jewish prayer songs, the Psalms, are full of such allusions and Jesus utters one of these psalms questioning why God has forsaken him as he dies on the cross.

The sixteenth century Spanish poet and mystic, St. John of the Cross, goes further. He advises deliberately casting aside bodily pleasures and desires and emptying ourselves of spiritual feelings and thoughts – "the dark night of the soul". Instead, he says, we must "lean upon dark faith, taking it for guide and light". He explains how this period of dark faith is a painful time of apprehension and despair when God is purifying us so we might be ready for a new life in union with him.

St Teresa of Avila, the sixteenth century mystic and friend of St John, went through 18 years of emptiness before her "soul was full of light", while the most widely read spiritual writer, Trappist monk Thomas Merton, prayed, "I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me."
...
The depth of Mother Teresa's doubts could be viewed by nonbelievers and skeptics like yourself as more evidence of the emptiness of religious belief. But Catholic scholars and supporters of the woman who toiled in Calcutta's slums and called herself "a pencil in God's hand" argue that her struggles make her more accessible and her work all the more remarkable."It shows that she wasn't a plaster-of-Paris saint who never had a doubt about God or the ultimate meaning of life," said the Rev. Richard McBrien, a University of Notre Dame theology professor and author of "Lives of the Saints." "This can only enhance her reputation as a saintly person with people who aren't easily impressed with pious stories. Those who think otherwise have a lot of learning to do about the complexities of life and about the nature of faith."

Ultimately what it comes down to Utah, is that Mother Teresa's struggles will demonstrate faith isn't about feeling, it's about will.

If it were not for the Tradition of the Catholic Church, you would have no Bible. Authority of Scripture is a Tradition, which proves you haven't a clue what you are talking about.

You got a problem..Mary was never defined as being "full of grace" in Gods Word...Jesus was

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Joh 1:14 is not contested. "Full of Grace" also appears in Luke 1:28.

Protestants are hostile to the notions of Mary’s freedom from actual sin and her Immaculate Conception (in which God freed her from original sin from the moment of her conception) because they feel that this makes her a sort of goddess and improperly set apart from the rest of humanity. They do not believe that it was fitting for God to set her apart in such a manner, even for the purpose of being the Mother of Jesus Christ, and don’t see that this is “fitting” or “appropriate” (as Catholics do).

The great Baptist Greek scholar A.T. Robertson exhibits a Protestant perspective, but is objective and fair-minded, in commenting on this verse as follows:
“Highly favoured” (kecharitomene). Perfect passive participle of charitoo and means endowed with grace (charis), enriched with grace as in Ephesians. 1:6, . . . The Vulgate gratiae plena “is right, if it means ‘full of grace which thou hast received’; wrong, if it means ‘full of grace which thou hast to bestow’” (Plummer).
(Word Pictures in the New Testament, Nashville: Broadman Press, 1930, six volumes, Vol. II, 13)

Kecharitomene has to do with God’s grace, as it is derived from the Greek root, charis (literally, “grace”). Greek scholar Marvin R. Vincent noted that even Wycliffe and Tyndale (no enthusiastic supporters of the Catholic Church) both rendered kecharitomene in Luke 1:28 as “full of grace” and that the literal meaning was “endued with grace” (Word Studies in the New Testament, Grand Rapids, MI: Eerdmans, 1946, four volumes, from 1887 edition: New York: Charles Scribner’s Sons; Vol. I, 259).

Likewise, well-known Protestant linguist W.E. Vine, defines it as “to endue with Divine favour or grace”
(An Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, Old Tappan, NJ: Fleming H. Revell Co., four volumes-in-one edition, 1940, Vol. II, 171).

All these men (except Wycliffe, who probably would have been, had he lived in the 16th century or after it) are Protestants, and so cannot be accused of Catholic translation bias.

The bible was written and read..long before the catholic church ever organized ... Authority of scripture is a concept drawn from the Old Testament and the scriptures themselves ....

You do understand that we know what the bible actually says now? We don't just take what the RCC says to make-up its false doctrine.

Lu 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

The term "full of grace" ...is clearly NOT in the scriptures.

Since you seem to want to add the moral aspect to your argument.... lets not forget murder and rape of children

i would that EVERYONE would believe the message God told me to give to this generation, which is.

If what you believe contradicts even one verse in Scriptures then what you believe is WRONG.

If people would only believe that, they would not be believing in so many false doctrines. Scriptures is the TRUTH from GOD. If you believe something that is contrary to SCRIPTURES, then your belief is NOT from God but from man.

For example the belief that Once You are Saved, You are Always Saved, is a belief that contradicts Scriptures which plainly teach a persons name can be blotted out of the Book of Life. Therefore the OSAS belief can't possibly be True, it is a man made doctrine. Another example is the belief that the Saints are alive right now with Jesus, that those who die immediately go up to Heaven to be with Jesus. That belief contradicts all the verses which plainly teaches they are SLEEPING. Therefore that belief and Scriptures CAN'T both be TRUE, and They are either up in Heaven with Jesus as men teach, or they are asleep as Scriptures Plainly teach. Both can't be the TRUTH. And there are many other false doctrines that this generation holds on to, which contradicts verses in Scriptures.

^i^

If What You Believe Contradicts Even One Verse In Scriptures, Then What You Believe Is WRONG.

People better start believing this statement from God, or they will be told on Judgment Day how their false doctrines have prevented them from entering into the Kingdom of Heaven, because they have rejected the TRUTH which was given to them, by Those who God chose to speak His Messages.

We are to judge those who claim to be inside the Church. Mother Teresa claimed to be a Christian and we have every right to judge her for what she did.

We have judges her DiscipleDave and have found she was a false brother. A Wolf in sheep clothing.

Matthew 7:15-20
[SUP]15 [/SUP] “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
[SUP]16 [/SUP] You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
[SUP]17 [/SUP] So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.
[SUP]18 [/SUP] A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
[SUP]20 [/SUP] Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

Mother Teresa was a false prophet DiscipleDave.
i hear you judging that of a woman who LOVED Much. Know you not that Love covers a multitude of sins? Scriptures plainly teach that a false prophet is one who prophesizes something that does not come to pass. If then you are accusing a Sister in the Lord of being a false prophet, what has she said would come to pass that did not come to pass? Did Sister Teresa even give any prophesies? Now Scriptures does teach us to beware of false prophets, that is those who give false prophesies, and then goes on to tell us HOW we can know they are false prophet, that what they prophesize about is false, because you will know them by their fruits, their deeds. So tell me, if you accuse a Sister in the Lord of being a false prophet, Can you now tell us what Bad fruit (deeds) she exhibited in her life?

Do you judge her based on her struggles with thoughts of her mind? Then you also will be judged the exact same way, you will be judged by the thoughts of your own mind as well. For example the same way you seem to have judged Sister Teresa, i can use the same merit of judging by saying those who claim to be a Christian, yet lusts looking at porn, is a False Christian. You call Sister Teresa a false prophet, yet all of her deeds were good fruits, because she loved much. Yet, you yourself do sinful things continually but call yourself Good. How is Scriptures not being fulfilled in saying. "Calling that which is Good evil, and that which is evil Good?" You call her a false prophet, yet her fruits are good, and you call yourself a Good Christian, yet your fruits are sinful (if you knowingly and willingly commit sins)

Jesus our Savior and Lord, gave us a New Commandment to follow and to OBEY. Love One Another.
Sister Teresa DID that, she OBEYED THAT COMMANDMENT, despite the battles she had with demons attacking her, She still did not FAIL to Obey Jesus in LOVING ONE ANOTHER.
Can you say the same, Do you feed the hungry? Do you cloth the naked? Do you give to charities? Do you help the Homeless? Do you volunteer at shelters? Do you visit the sick? Sister Teresa Did all these things, Do YOU?

I judge Mother Teresa on the basis of her Worshiping Mary as her god. No one who follows and Worships Mary as their god can ever Inherit the Kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 5:11-13
[SUP]11 [/SUP] But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one.
[SUP]12 [/SUP] For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?
[SUP]13 [/SUP] God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”

We are to judge those who claim to be our brother in Christ. Therefore by the deeds of Mother Teresa in the Worshiping of Mary has her god I can judge her for what she has done.

Mother Teresa will never enter into the Kingdom of God. The Lake of Fire is where she will spend Eternity.

Quotes of Mother Teresa
"Keep the joy of loving God in your heart and share this joy with all you meet especially your family. Be holy – let us pray."
"I once picked up a woman from a garbage dump and she was burning with fever; she was in her last days and her only lament was: ‘My son did this to me.’ I begged her: You must forgive your son. In a moment of madness, when he was not himself, he did a thing he regrets. Be a mother to him, forgive him. It took me a long time to make her say: ‘I forgive my son.’ Just before she died in my arms, she was able to say that with a real forgiveness. She was not concerned that she was dying. The breaking of the heart was that her son did not want her. This is something you and I can understand."
"When once a chairman of a multinational company came to see me, to offer me a property in Bombay, he first asked: ‘Mother, how do you manage your budget?" I asked him who had sent him here. He replied: ‘I felt an urge inside me.’ I said: other people like you come to see me and say the same. It was clear God sent you, Mr. A, as He sends Mr. X, Mrs. Y, Miss Z, and they provide the material means we need for our work. The grace of God is what moved you. You are my budget. God sees to our needs, as Jesus promised. I accepted the property he gave and named it Asha Dan (Gift of Hope).
"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."
"Like Jesus we belong to the world living not for ourselves but for others. The joy of the Lord is our strength."
"There is only one God and He is God to all; therefore it is important that everyone is seen as equal before God. I’ve always said we should help a Hindu become a better Hindu, a Muslim become a better Muslim, a Catholic become a better Catholic. We believe our work should be our example to people. We have among us 475 souls - 30 families are Catholics and the rest are all Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs—all different religions. But they all come to our prayers."
"There are so many religions and each one has its different ways of following God. I follow Christ:
Jesus is my God,
Jesus is my Spouse,
Jesus is my Life,
Jesus is my only Love,
Jesus is my All in All;
Jesus is my Everything."
Make us worthy, Lord, to serve those people throughout the world who live and die in poverty and hunger. Give them through our hands, this day, their daily bread, and by our understanding love, give them peace and joy.
I heard the call to give up all and follow Christ into the slums to serve Him among the poorest of the poor. It was an order.
I was to leave the convent and help the poor while living among them.

When a poor person dies of hunger, it has not happened because God did not take care of him or her.
It has happened because neither you nor I wanted to give that person what he or she needed.

You and I, we are the Church, no? We have to share with our people. Suffering today is because people are hoarding, not giving, not sharing.
Jesus made it very clear. Whatever you do to the least of my brethren, you do it to me.
Give a glass of water, you give it to me. Receive a little
child, you receive me.
Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater developments and greater riches and so on, so that children have very little time for their parents. Parents have very little time for each other, and in the home begins the disruption of peace of the world.
If we really want to love we must learn how to forgive.

Just because a person devotes their life in helping the poor people does not equate with being a Child of God and entering into Heaven.

Only by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior can anyone enter in.

Mother Teresa never accepted Salvation because Catholicism teaches a person can only receive Salvation after they die.

Also an Idolater will never be allowed to enter in.

Mother Teresa worship Mary. Mother Teresa prayed to Mary.

Clearly Mother Teresa was an Idolater.

Like it or not, she will never enter into Heaven because of her sin of worshiping Mary as her god.

I attended Catholic church for years and what you have said about salvation is simply not true. Clearly, Mother Teresa was a humble servant of the Lord.

It says in the bible that faith without works is a dead faith. The life of Mother Teresa exemplifies what it means to be a Christian. It is only because she was a Catholic that others, from their own arrogance, condemn her to hell.

Well I agree that we can't condemn her or anyone else to hell, and also agree that has been done in this thread, but I will also add that anything Mother Teresa did or didn't do works wise, nor the way she lived could ever buy or earn her way to heaven. Unless she accepted Jesus Christ died for her sins and was born again, a teaching the RCC doesn't teach, she will not be there. That is why people make that assumption, as I'm sure you know anyway. Now again I agree we don't know or have any say in whether or not she did or did not do that, it had to happen for her to be there. Our works are a reflection and evidence of our conversion, but you can still do good deeds your whole life and go to hell if you haven't come to Jesus alone and submitted your life to him. If that's how you meant it I'm sorry, I'm not just trying to argue, just the way I read it you seemed to be saying her works can earn her anything in the face of a Holy God and I disagree. However I also am not trying to say I know where she is either way, and like I said in an earlier comment, I honestly hope she did hear "welcome good and faithful servant". Anyway have a happy New Year. 8^)

In the Book of James Faith without works is not talking about Salvation which clearly is a gift from God. The Faith without works is about our Justification.

James 2:18-24
[SUP]18 [/SUP] But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
[SUP]19 [/SUP] You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe--and tremble!
[SUP]20 [/SUP] But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
[SUP]21 [/SUP] Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
[SUP]23 [/SUP] And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called the friend of God.
[SUP]24 [/SUP] You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

This passage in James is not talking about receiving Salvation by works. This passage is talking about being Justified by our works!

We receive Justification by the good works we do.

Ephesians 2:8-9
[SUP]8 [/SUP] For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
[SUP]9 [/SUP] not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Salvation is received by Faith and Grace and is a gift from God.

How can Mother Teresa be a humble servant of God when she Worshiped Mary as her god tourist?

We are not condemning Mother Teresa to hell. We are pointing out that a person cannot Inherit the Kingdom of God who practices Idolatry like Mother Teresa did by her worship of Mary.

Galatians 5:19-21
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,
[SUP]20 [/SUP] idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions,
[SUP]21 [/SUP] envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
