Methinks your explanation is woefully inadequate. Nothing in your story explains what "consistent" means to you, nor why going to the Greek was needed. How about you give actual examples.
Try the study .Its amusing if nothing else .

God sent His word to a specific group of people for thousands of years. Do you pity all those people who never received God’s word? Where’s your outcry over that?
God has since the cross opened His message to the whole world (Mt 28:19-20), before that the oracles of God belonged to the Jews (Rom 3:2), or are you outraged that God played favorites? (next time respod to my point rather than introduce a red herring.)

God never promised that His word would be preserved in every language, only that it would be preserved. The gospel can go out in any language.

Yep, and the KJV verse contains the exact English words.
Most of the Jews when Jesus was on the earth were using a Greek translation of the OT Hebrew. The Jews had lost their Hebrew language due to the over 400 years of captivity they has endured.

I like to KJV as a translation but I have been using it for many years and I am comfortable with the old English in which it is written. I have used some of the newer English versions to promoter a greater understanding of the KJV English.

The Jews still argue endlessly over their Hebrew texts and rarely agree on anything loving to really focus over the smallest differences in their interpretations. They accomplish nothing and do not progress in any productive faith.

Arguing over differing versions of English translations does not move the ball down the field.

That does not bode well for the KJ circa 1611

Are you aware of the Trinitarian Bible Society? They had resolved a long time ago to translate the Bible into every major language based on the same manuscripts as the KJB. The have also published numerous papers exposing all the errors within the modern versions. So the equivalent of the KJV is being distributed, and rightly so.

And you assume that scholars are not taught by God? What arrogance.
That's not what I assumed, sure some are taught by God through His word, but I'm always going with God's word over man. Let's face it, I will never be convinced that the KJV is not the preserved words of God in English, and you'll never be convinced that any version is God's word for us today.

When it comes to the KJV as being 'the best of all translations', I pity those Christians that speak only Japanese, or Taiwanese or Filipino, or Eskimolian, etc.
Or a teen in our inner cities who have never seen a Bible before.

How do you know that it was completed in 1611?
Not only that, but to say Scriptures were completed with the 1611 version means it was incomplete until then!

Would that mean it was added to???

Thank you for exposing the poison of this divisive, deceitful organisation.

So your mind is shut, and no amount of truth will shift it. I knew that already, but it’s nice of you to admit it.

As for me, I will speak for myself.

100%, every time they change it, they sell more...
And every time a product is changed to say "NEW AND IMPROVED" it is guaranteed to be of a lesser quality, lesser quantity, and greater price. But the public is so easily fooled (it seems) that the hucksters continue with their shenanigans. The Great Bible Version Hoax took Christendom by storm, and there were very few who saw through the smoke and mirrors.
Hucksters and shenanigans? Because Bible translators earn a living? Does your hypocrisy know no bounds?
