Why is this so confusing? Are you trying to understand in human terms you never will. God is one in three forms. The Father controls all of these forms.Plain and simple. Can you call the Holy Spirit Christ no because it is a seperate form just like you cant call your brain your heart though they are in one body. Can Jesus be called God the Father, no though if you have seen him you have seen the body of God.

Yes the Spirit is the Spirit of Christ, but it is incorrect to say that Christ is the Spirit or that the Spirit is Christ.
"Now the Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty" II Cor. 3:17

Who is the Lord according to Paul, 'Grace be unto you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ'.

2 Cor 3:17 only says that Lord refers to Spirit. "the Lord is that Spirit" does not mean Christ is actually that Spirit. But that by turning to Christ, it is the Spirit who makes Christ's presence known to us.

"Hereby we know the Spirit of God; every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ (God and Lord) is come in the flesh is of God." 1 John 4:2

"He that hath ear, let him hear what the Spirit (Jesus) saith unto the churches" Rev. 2:7

Oops. there's another mistake in my KJV for all you KJV-onlyists out there.. ..the KJV authors failed to capitalise the word spirit in this verse:

2Co 3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

The Spirit acts in accordance with the will of Christ and the Father but the Spirit is still referred to as a separate entity to Christ and the Father.

Why do Christians argue over this it should be clear. Three forms make up one God just as man has mind body spirit.

"He that hath ear, let him hear what the Spirit (Jesus) saith unto the churches" Rev. 2:7 .

Yes, because Jesus speaks by the Spirit..
Joh 3:34
The one whom God has sent speaks God's words, because God gives him the fullness of his Spirit.

and John was receiving the message by the Spirit...and those who read John's message would also receive by the Spirit... but note: Jesus is NOT the Spirit.

By the way, here's something to chew on... the lists of religious groups (non-mainstream) that reject the Trinity include:

Mormonism
Jehovah's Witnessism
Christian Science
Armstrongism
Christadelphians
Scientology

No true Christian rejects the Trinity or the Nicene creed...and all else probably sit under a lying spirit of error.

But thanks for confirming the scripture:
2Pe 2:1 False prophets appeared in the past among the people, and in the same way false teachers will appear among you.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me" Luke 4:18

"And that there is no other God but one"

"But to us there be but one God, the Father of Whom are all things, and we in Him, and one Lord Jesus Christ by Whom are are all things, and we by Him, Howbeit there is not in everyman that knowledge" 1 Cor. 8:4-7

We are all of Him - God the Father, by Him God the Son, how many Gods Paul? "And that there is no other God but one"

Who is speaking to churches in Revelations?

That doesn't answer how a married man and woman are "echad" like God is "echad".

And let's look into that. So this echad God of the Scriptures says "let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness"

Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Do you see any mention of angels here? Did God lie when He said "Let US make man" ???

I see God creating man, and God is echad therefore God, the Father and Jesus created man out of dust. No mention of your alleged angels here, sorry!
No answer Cup of Ruin?

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me" Luke 4:18
You mean the Spirit of Me is upon Me?

"And that there is no other God but one"

No one is arguing there is more than one God, you just are confused.

"But to us there be but one God, the Father of Whom are all things, and we in Him, and one Lord Jesus Christ by Whom are are all things, and we by Him, Howbeit there is not in everyman that knowledge" 1 Cor. 8:4-7

One God, the Father AND our Lord Jesus ... ???? Not God our Father who is also known as Lord Jesus.

We are all of Him - God the Father, by Him God the Son, how many Gods Paul? "And that there is no other God but one"
Once again, you are a little confused if you believe anyone who claims to be a Christian is worshiping more than one God.

Right, the Spirit was upon Christ...but NOWHERE did Christ say He was the Spirit or that the Spirit was Himself.

And let's look into that. So this echad God of the Scriptures says "let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness"
Divine purpose stated, the Divine act not described until 2:7, 21-24.

"Who is the image of the invisible God the Firstborn of every creature" Col. 1:15

"Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person" Heb. 1:3

"These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true Witness the beginning of the Creation of God." Rev. 3:14

Refers to the likeness of the image of the outward form, just as He took human form in order to redeem, He thus by His express image creates, indication of the similtude of creation of man, His Divine purpose being for the physical likeness Fig. Hendiadys. the image has become two, where by before only the first born - one. The likeness to elohim.

If I have three apples, how many apples do I have?
God bless you and may He open your eyes,

and you would have three apples if you had three apples.
