Jesus was birthed by the Holy Spirit in Mary.Christ and the Holy Spirit are often used interchangeably in the bible, because they are the same spirit of God, one is just in the flesh. In one bible verse Jesus prays protect them Father by the power of your name the one you gave me. Jesus Christ is God's name it says because God does not need a name like a man till he took on human flesh for us.

READ THE SCRIPTURES

I HAVE GIVEN AND LISTED

THEY ARE VERY CLEAR

TRINITY IS A LIE FROM SATAN

3 GODS IN HEAVEN LOL

EVEN THE MUSLIMS NO THAT IS A LIE

TRINITY IS LIKE AN OCCULT

3 HEADED GOD

NOW THAT IS A SERPENT

I believe that if we wish others to accept our quotes from the Bible, we must be prepared to accept theirs also. The Bible in its plainest statements says that Jesus is the Son of God. If you read 1Cor15:24-28(as I have before quoted to you), it is impossible to say Jesus is God full stop. The Apostle Paul says Jesus will be subject to God the Father once he has defeated all, power, dominion and authority. That is a fact.
I will always put the plain, siomple statements of the Bible above human reasoning. If I believed Jesus was God full stop I would have to claim to know more than the Apostle Paul did. That I will never know. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs. If you can show me one statement in the NT where it directly says Jesus is God the Father I will accept it, but you cannot. I can give you many plainly written statements to say Jesus is not.
Human reasoning and understanding are a stumbling block to the things of God. I will go by the plainest, simplest statements in the Bible. No- Christian has the right to ask any other Christian to go against such plainly written stastements. A mature Christian would simply respect others for following the plain emphatic statements of the Bible. To try and change peoples opinion when it contradicts so much plain scripture speaks not of loving concern for our brothers in Christ, but rather a desire to be proved right.

Frankly I am tired of this debate on many Christian websites. But I will give you plainly written verses from the Bible this once. All 0of the plainest statements say Jesus is the Son of God, not God the Father.

God Himself talking.

But about the Son He says.
Your throne O God will last for ever and ever.
and righteousness will be the sceptre of your kingdom.
You have loved righteousnerss and hated wickedness
Therefore God, your God has set you above your companions
By anointing you with the oil of joy. Heb1:8&9

It is plainly written that God refered to Jesus as God, but still said He was Jesus God. Plain, simple words. I will take the plain statementrs of the Bible above human interpretation of the Bible always. And no Christian has the right to expect otherwise from another Christian. And no Christian should quote the Bible and ask others to accept their quotes, if they themselves will not accept the plain, emphatic quotes put to them

Funny thing is you do not accept things from the bible because you have been shown many verses that shown who Christ was. Yet let me ask you a question did God save man or did man save man? If we praise a man in Jesus Christ then we are idolators unless we praise Emmanuel God with us in Jesus Christ.

If we praise a man in Jesus Christ then we are idolators unless we praise Emmanuel God with us in Jesus Christ.
I am frankly astounded to be asked such a question. Jesus is the son of God and became flesh. It is his death on the cross that saves us.
I can assure you no-one has quoted me any verse that says Jesus is God the Father, neither can you. There is no direct quote to say that in the NT.

But I will quote the plain emphatic words of the Apostle Paul, which I am sure you will not accept.

Then the end will come when he (Jesus) hands over the kingdom to God the Father) after he has destroyed all dominion authority and power.
For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. vcThe last enemy to be destroyed is death. For He (God) has put everything under his feet.
Now when it says that everything has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God Himself who put everything under Christ.
When he has doner this then the Son Himself will be made subject to him who put eveything under him, so that God may be all in all. 1Cor15:24-28

But as you will not accept these plain and very emphatic verses of scripture I am sure you will; not accept anything else I may add. But I repeat nowhere in the NT does it say that Jesus is God the Father. The Apostle Paul clearly states Jesus is not. Who should I believe? Your interpretation of scripture? Or the Apostle Paul's plain words over five c9ntinuous verses.

I read all the posts.... God is not like us, He has the ability to function in three ways (remember, He is GOD and not bound by human laws). He's not three seporate Gods, He is Christ divided. Ironic you were talking about apples because that's how my teacher taught the trinity to me, she chopped up an apple in three parts and asked us how many apples there were. Obviously, one.

GOD is not a GHOST ! GOD is a SPIRIT / Jn 4:24. In the term Holy Ghost , the word that has been translated 'Ghost' is pneuma. The word in this term should be translated 'Spirit'. The word 'Ghost' was never used one time in the OT in relationship to God, but was used (95) times in the NT when used within the term 'Holy Ghost'. What is interesting is that this same word pneuma was translated 'Spirit' (12) times when used with the term 'Holy Spirit'. Why they translated pneuma (95 times) as 'Ghost' I will never know, when it should have been translated ''Spirit' in every case. If you check with the other translations they omit 'Ghost' and translate 'Spirit' correctly. God is not a 'Ghost' and never has been.

The word 'Ghost' can not stand alone and represent God and was always translated 'Spirit' for that reason. When you see in the NT the word 'Spirit' with a capital 'S' it is referring to God and you can't substitute 'Ghost' in its place. The translators had the word 'Spirit' and 'Ghost' available to use for pnuema, but for some strange reason used an awful word in place of 'Spirit'. If we are students of God's word, we should refer to God as the Holy Spirit and not the Holy Ghost. I am not going to let is cause division but let's be intelligent and consistant and realize that the KJV translators got it wrong and it is easily corrected.

I have more, but if you would like to respond go right ahead.

- Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are one. John 10:30, "I and the Father are one."
- Jesus was God in flesh and blood

God + Jesus + Holy spirit = GOD

why is there even a discussion on this? read the scribtures and serve Him, rather than doubt his word

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR POSTS I TRULLY APPRECIATE EVERYONES OPINIONS AND THOUGHTS
FOR YOUR INFORMATION
I HAVE
WENT THRU THE LIST OF SCRIPTURES EACH OF YOU HAVE GIVEN UNTO ME
AND I CAN SAFELY SAY
AS I HAVE ALWAYS STATED
WHEN JESUS
SPOKE ABOUT WORSHIP AND THE FATHER
HE SPOKE TO US PERSOANLLY
AS A ROLE MODEL
BY WHICH WE ARE TO LIVE BY

LETS SAY I AM THE EXPERT ON WATERBOARDING
AS I SHOW YOU AND TEACH YOU
I MIGHT REFER TO OF MYSELF IN THE 3RD PERSON
EXAMPLE
MY NAME IS JOINT-HEIR
AS I AM TEACHING
I MIGHT SAY AND AS THE TEACHER PERFORMS WATERBOARDING
SO DOES JOINT-HEIR
BUT
I AM SPEAKING
ALL ABOUT ME
FOR I AM
THE TEACHER AND JOINT-HEIR
THE SAME PERSON BUT I USED MYSELF AS A 3RD PERSON
TO DEMONSTRATE MY POINT FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING

JESUS DID THE VERY SAME THING
AS HE TAUGHT US
TO
PRAY - SERVE - LIVE - WORSHIP - GO TO GOD - ABIDE IN - FIND STRENGTH -
FIND GUIDANCE - CAST OUT DEMONS - WITNESS TO OTHERS - LEAD THE LOST TO BE SAVED -
PREACH - TEACH - LOVE - HAVE COMPASSION - HAVE MERCY - BE GRACEFUL - SINCERE -
LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS WE WOULD LOVE OURSELVES - BE OUR BROTHERS KEEPER -
MIRACLES - FAITH - UNDERSTANDING - BE THE EXAMPLE
HE
JESUS
TAUGHT US THESE THINGS
TO US AND FOR US
IN THE 3RD PERSON
ALTHOUGH
HE WAS SPEAKING EVERYTIME ABOUT HIMSELF

EZEKIEL 1:26
THE ONE WHO SITS UPON THE ONLY THRONE OF GOD
IS AS THE IMAGE OF A MAN

WHO IS THE ONLY MAN AND GOD WE KNOW.......?

JESUS CHRIST
HE IS
AND ALWAYS WILL BE
ALPHA AND OMEGA
FIRST AND LAST
BEGINNING AND THE END
GOD
ALL IN ALL

I agree that Jesus gave an example to His disciples...

but what is harder for you to explain joint-heir..is how Jesus was actually communicating with the Father in heaven while he was on earth, and even the Father talking back to Him.

In one place in scripture Jesus even told His disciples NOT to pray to him and ask him for things, but to go to the Father. The formula Jesus gave us is to pray to the Father in Jesus's name and by the Spirit. Nowhere does scripture say to pray to Jesus.

'Snail I explained that earlier.

"I and the Father are One"

How many is one? Do people even know what one means?

OK, say there is

Cup-of-Ruin the father
Cup-of-Ruin the brother
Cup-of-Ruin the son

how many COR's are there? How many me's, Hey me how many of me are there, well there is no one beside me, so I guess there is just me, I have different roles and titles but I am one me.

It means one in purpose and nature, so long as Jesus did the Father's will of course! But, the Father was still giving Jesus directional commands from heaven.. and Jesus obeyed what he heard..which is further proof against y our view.

JESUS CHRIST IS GOD ALONE
HERE
IS THE PROOF

THIS IS DEITY OF JESUS CHRIST ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE

PROOF JESUS IS THE WORD
JOHN 1:1...In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD

JOHN 1:14...And the WORD was made flesh (JESUS)..........

PROOF JESUS IS THE FATHER
JOHN 14:8-11...Philip asks JESUS to shew US the FATHER. JESUS answers, Have I been with you so long
THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW ME(THIS IS CLEAR EVIDENCE JESUS SAYING HE IS THE FATHER).
JESUS goes on to say IF YOU SEE ME YOU SEE THE FATHER IF YOU SEE THE FATHER YOU SEE ME
FOR I AM IN THE FATHER AND THE FATHER IS IN ME.

PROOF HOLY GHOST IS JESUS
GALATIANS 4:6...And because ye are sons(WE ARE SONS OF GOD WHEN WE ACCEPT JESUS AND ARE BAPTIZED AND SAVED),
GOD hath sent forth the SPIRIT(NOTICE CAPITAL "S" INDICATING HOLY GHOST)
of his SON(JESUS - NOTICE THE CAPITAL "S"PIRIT(HOLY GHOST) IS THE SPIRIT OF JESUS) into your hearts,
crying, ABBA FATHER.

WHO IS SENDING THE HOLY GHOST TO US.......?
LUKE 24:49...JESUS SAYS I SEND THE PROMISE (HOLY GHOST) OF MY FATHER
JOHN 14:26...JESUS SAYS THE FATHER WILL SEND THE COMFORTER (HOLY GHOST) IN MY NAME
JOHN 15:26...JESUS SAYS I WILL SEND THE COMFORTER (HOLY GHOST) UNTO YOU
JOHN 16:7...JESUS SAYS I WILL SEND THE COMFORTER (HOLY GHOST) UNTO YOU

WE HAVE JESUS SAYING THAT HE / FATHER WILL SEND HOLY GHOST = JESUS IS SPEAKING THAT HE IS THE FATHER

COLOSSIANS 2:9... IN JESUS IS THE COMPLETE GODHEAD BODY (FATHER - WORD - HOLY GHOST)

1 JOHN 5:6-7... WHEN ON EARTH JESUS WAS (WATER - BLOOD - SPIRIT)
WHEN IN HEAVEN JESUS IS (FATHER - WORD - HOLY GHOST)

SO
WE HAVE SCRIPTURES REVEALING WHO JESUS IS WRAPPED IN FLESH.......WORD
WE HAVE A SET OF SCRIPTURES SHOWING JESUS SAYS TO PHILIP DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO I AM.......? FATHER
WE HAVE SCRIPTURE COMFIRMING WHO WILL SEND THE COMFORTER.......JESUS WHO IS THE FATHER
WE HAVE ANOTHER VERSE CONFIRMING THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF JESUS.......HOLY GHOST

NOTICE
ALL 3 ARE JESUS AND JESUS IS ALL 3
THIS WOULD MAKE GOD ALL IN ALL
OR
JESUS CHRIST
EQUALS
THE ONE TRUE GOD
WHO IS
FATHER - WORD - HOLY GHOST
NOT
A
TRI-UNE GOD
BUT
ONE GOD
HAVING 3 MANEFESTATIONS

SO WHEN YOU WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST AS GOD
YOU ARE FULFILLING
THE VERY FIRST COMMANDMENT
HAVE NO OTHER gods BEFORE ME
JESUS CHRIST
IS
ALPHA AND OMEGA
FIRST AND LAST
WHICH MEANS
THERE IS NONE
EQUAL TO OR BESIDE HIM
so why does jesus say that even the Son doesnt know the end times

ALSO
ANOTHER EXAMPLE
THAT THE HOLY GHOST
IS IN FACT THE SPIRIT OF JESUS
NOT THE 3RD PERSON OF THE TRINITY

WE ALREADY KNOW
THAT PAUL IN
GALATIONS 4:6
IS SPECIFIC THAT JESUS SPIRIT IS THE HOLY GHOST
BUT
AND THIS IS BEAUTIFUL
IT IS ONLY WRITTEN ONE TIME

JOHN 20:22
JESUS BREATHED ON THEM AND SAID RECIEVE THE HOLY GHOST

THE WORD OF GOD IS GOD-BREATHED

THIS IS POWER
ASSERTING HIMSELF
TO GIVE OTHERS POWER
FOR
YOU CANNOT GIVE POWER OF SOMETHING
UNTIL
THAT SOMETHING
IS A PART OF YOU
OR IS YOU
THE
HOLY GHOST IS THE SPIRIT OF JESUS WHO IS GOD
NO SEPARATION
ONE AND THE SAME

PRAISE GOD !!!!!!!

YOU CANNOT QUALIFY ME AT ALL

IN 1984
I WAS ORDAINED
AND WAS PREACHING IN MY GRANDFATHERS AND FATHERS CHURCH

I JUST
MADE SOME SERIOUSLY BAD CHOICES
AND WALKED AWAY
FROM GOD

THANK GOD
HE GAVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE

BUT
NEVERTHELESS
I AM 41
AND WAS SAVED AS A YOUNG BOY
AND BY 12
PREACHED MY FIRST SERMON
BUT
I HAVE BEEN IN AND READING THE WORD OF GOD
AND LISTENED TO MY GRANDFATHER
AND FATHER
EVEN AS I WAS IN SIN
FOR OVER
33 YEARS
AND THAT IS
5 MORE YEARS
THAN YOU HAVE BEEN ALIVE
