Your just trying to hold pat.

Your answer does not matter, Not everything written in the bible is for all people.

But that's fine, You want to be a modern day pharisee. Feel free.

I am secure in christ. Your or any other lawyer can not take that away from me.

ps. You cant keep the law. Perfection was required.

Moses made that demand, Cursed is everyone who does not confirm and obey every word

Paul repeated it, and said whoever is under the law is under a curse. because cursed is the one..

And james concured. saying we can keep the law our whole life yet stumble in one point and we are guilty/.

Go ahead and try to keep the law. it will condemn you where you stand
This is the Bible Discussion Forum.

It doesn't look good for your case when you won't even 'discuss' the Bible.

Perfectly legitimate questions supported by relevant scripture.

It's obvious to more than just me that your goal is not to discuss or answer anything, but to simply bury my posts with responses that are neither here nor there.

That's ok. SOME people are seeing the Truth despite your efforts.

God bless.

Actually I was discussing the Bible. The Bible tells us who the law was given to plain and simple

You do not wish to discuss it. That’s on you my friend not me

Scripture tells us man started keeping the Sabbath in Exodus.
Do you think that whether man kept it or did not keep it changed the Sabbath as the Lord created it?

So are you then preaching you must not go ahead as try to keep the law, that you must not repent of your sins?

There is scripture that tells us this is a wrong way for us to do.

Matt. 5:28 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

No, I am not teaching this

you should be ashamed of yourself,

you continue to break the law while at the same time teaching we should obey it

you need to repent.

Scripture tells us man started keeping the Sabbath in Exodus.
To be very clear, scripture does not tell us that at all.

It is absolutely silent on the subject of exactly when man began keeping the Sabbath.

We find in Exodus 16:22, 23, 28-29 that the Israelites already knew all about the Sabbath. There is no indication whatsoever exactly when they were introduced to it. Then, later in chapter 20, the dramatic reveal by God of the 10 Commandments from Mt. Sinai takes place.

Just to clarify.

(Now hurry, hurry ... post nonsense over this post so nobody sees it. Hurry!)

The first Sabbath was for God only. It was a shadow of what was to come in Exodus for Israel.

Yes it does.

No, it's found in Exodus.

No, they are being told about it for the first time which is why God had to tell them all the rules to follow.

Again, you are using accusations instead of posting about scripture. What I do or do not do does not affect the truth in any way.

I go to the Lord constantly for my guidance, not to you.

As I study scripture, I use scripture to teach me about God not to listen in on personal conversations. I never read it as to God only, or to Israel only, or as only to gentiles. I read scripture as the word of the Lord.

Might want to read it again:

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

That's just God resting from his own work he was doing. Zero is written about him telling anyone else or even allowing anyone else to have a rest from work. Back in those days life would have been very difficult and they would have had to work everyday. A Sabbath would kill a lot of people without society and rules and government like Israel had.

Adam and Eve were being punished anyways. They didn't deserve a Sabbath.

So you have decided that Adan and Eve did not deserve a Sabbath, I wonder if you have informed the Lord of that and if you did, what the Lord's response is to what you have decided.

I read that God created a Sabbath in the same way God created us and the world. We read the same thing and it means something completely different to each of us.

Wrong again. At least you're consistent.

"Now it happened that some of the people went out on the Sabbath Day to gather, but they found none. And the Lord said to Moses, "How long do you refuse to keep My Commandments and My Laws?" (Ex. 16:27-28)

Clearly not the first lesson on the Commandments.

Yes. I am accusing. I do not have to post scripture to prove you are bearing false witness against me! What a joke!

What I do or do not do does not affect the truth in any way.

I go to the Lord constantly for my guidance, not to you.
Then why do you deny the PASSAGES OF SCRIPTURE i pose. that you keep accusing me of not posting???

You claim this, but I am absolutely certain that you don't believe it yourself.

Do you go to the temple in Jerusalem three times a year?

Do you participate in the stoning of adulterers in your community?

Do you go out two by two with no extra cloak and no money in your belt, preaching the gospel to the towns of Israel?

No, because you understand that those commands are not given TO YOU.

In the same way, the Law was given TO ANCIENT ISRAEL, not to you nor to any other Christians.

You are consistently wrong.

Exo 16:23 And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

This is the first time God mentioned the Sabbath to humans in the bible.

I am speaking of scripture, not about you as a person. If you find anything I have said about you as a person please forgive me. And my heart and soul is rooted in scripture, if anything I have said is not from scripture and from me instead, I need to know about it to correct it. What have I said that is not scripture based?
